MrsF: Thanks guys i dont have an account that has been untouched for 28 days so im gonna say a little prayer and see what happens next week. I know this ppl can be very funny cant believe its 45pence difference that is causing all dis headache. It doesn't need to be untouched as long as it does not go below the required amount (185naira) |

OlowoB: I never said there is a limit on the number of accounts. I only said the VO will only use the account with the highest amount even if the person were to submit 20 statements of account.
Ok let me understand you well, maybe I am the one wrong then. Correct me if I am wrong.
Under the home office rules, they will only use one account.... Either your parents, legal guardian or your own personal account.
The last time I did my visa (except they have changed the rules which I doubt) I do not know of any joining of account together (i stand to be corrected on this). If that is the case, people complaining of fluctuating rates can easily join accounts then...NO?
The site is www.gov.com. I am on my phone now, when I get home on my laptop, I wil give you the exact page number.

@umarwy you were right, 2 accounts can be used but what happens to the fluctuating rates? Can they then use the other account as top up? I see your question has been answered. I only suggested multiple accounts to mrsf because she only needed 182 naira as top up. And I assumed she has another account that has fuffield the 28 days with 182 naira . I hope it helps |

OlowoB: Ok fine, I am willing to learn more. So how did you submit multiple accounts for tier 4 visa? And which summary will they look at?
You are permitted to submit even 5 statements but the site says that they would only use the account that has the highest money in it.
You submitted multiple statements did not mean they used both. They most likely used just one.
And I am talking of the person him/herself applying for Tier4 visa. Multiple accounts can be submitted but only one will be considered. It is written on their site.
When I did my own tier 4 visa also, I submitted 2 account statements but I am very sure they only used one. They never added anything together. OwoloB can you send the link to the site you are referring to. because in the tier 4 policy guidance document there is no mention to number of accounts |

OlowoB: Then what is the maximum amount for which multiple account is accepted? I am just hearing about this now. I still doubt it though. I dont know about the Max accounts that can be used. But you are required to show prove of funds in your account or that of a legal guardian. i guess as long as you can show prove of funds is what they are after |

fizzile: I think the issue here is the current rate and not really having another account. Even if the person deposits the maintenance in another account,if the rate doesn't favour it then it certainly won't be complete. Mrsf said the difference is just 182 naira. That's why I suggested such. It won't work If the difference is much. Thanks |

OlowoB: Wrong sir, home office will only use one account of the person.
In a case where you submit 2 account statements, they will use only the account with the highest money in it. No ukvi accept multiple accounts. They take the sum |

MrsF: Thanks just calculated the differenc btw todays rate when converted and my account balance its N2182.38. If they make an issue out of 2k then there are sick in the head becos the rate is nolonger stable so what u have to pay today is not the same as what you will pay tomorrow so if theres a balance of school feed to pay the applicant would definitely need to add more since the exchange rate is all over the place. I think tha way the point base system works, you are giving 10 point if you have full maintenance and nothing if you don't have sufficient money. The best way to handle it is if you have another account in your name(even if it was a dormant one) you should use both statement |

Hello Thank you all for the contribution so far
For those that are yet to pay their school fees, if you are willing to pay with an ATM card. I received a call from my account officer at first bank that they have reviewed fx transactions on their naira master card to 5000usd monthly no daily limit. And 15000usd on their platinum MasterCard. I it should suffice for those willing to pay deposit. Or you could use multiple accounts to pay for the full fees.
Cheers |

MrsF: I have been debited so therein lies my problem becos the money is tied up there. If the moneygram rate is slightly above the CBN rate then thats still fine i guess i would be paying extra for the peace of mind. My 28 days is up next week friday so i need to sort this out asap But if you have been debited the fees should have been recived by your school. If not My advice would be to free up your schedule for a day or two. Just go to the bank and sit on the manager office till your issue has been resolved or you get a good explanation of things (either they tell you when the fund would be reversed or when it would reach the school) and please try your best and don't be polite you have been patient enough. 2 cent |

luwins: Please good people in the house. I need a quick explanation thanks. 1) Must 2 router be configured with 1 dte and the other dce? 2)Cidr and vlsm what is the difference 3) When do I use inbound or outbound for acls Thanks in advance 1) Yes, The source/Main/ISP router will be DCE. Destination Router would be DTE (in cisco packet tracer all ports are dte by default) 2) CIDR classles inter domain routing, is for sub-dividing (subnetting) your class-full Addresses (Class A, B, C) into different subnet of same block size. while VLSM is a form of sub-netting into different subnet with variable block sizes (different block size) Hope this helps |

fizzile: You are so right. Just confirmed it too. Who knows what will happen in the next few days. But come to think of it, the CBN hasn't even released the rate oo..cheeiiii Fx is now independent of cbn. Market forces would determine the rate from now on |
