The biggest problem with home schooling is balancing it with work. Plus if your child is already registered at school, it puts you on Children's Services radar for about a year and they MAY do random visits, request information etc (that was the time frame before I left). Home schooling parents also sometimes get viewed with distrust by the system. Their first thought is always that the parent is hiding something �
You will also need to find and slot into your local home schooling community. In Norfolk and Bristol where we lived, those communities were also very full of the pushy vegans, non vaxxers, off grid, sometimes government hating kind of people and omo, I can't fit shout abeg �. If you end up using tutors, then it becomes not only expensive but time consuming plus you become an employer on top of it.
I'm not a big fan of Montessori or Steiner mainly because with a bit of time and money, you can replicate their methods yourself so why pay for it? Especially at early years and early primary level.

Saying that, I am seriously contemplating home educating my children at secondary level so we can do some long term travel. Husbot is not quite on board yet... I have met some very well learned home schooled children but they were gifted and taking them out of school enabled them thrive as school held them back.
I would love a US style system where they have charter schools - mix of regular school, home school, online school and pipeline can puck and choose.

You must be a good parent and teach your kids discipline that’s is what is lacking in uk all kids lack discipline and common sense is very far from them.

If you have been driving in Nigeria, it would take you much longer to pass the UK driving test............

Remember, you have 2 stages to qualify for a full UKDL ........

You must first pass the theory test, before you proceed to practical........

It's not impossible, but safe to have a practical lesson budget of between 10-25 lessons......... At about £20 per lesson........

Also remember, immediately you pass your Driving test, you cannot immediately apply for a PCO license, make you no go kill pésin pickin.....

We already seeing that with Dorm care.... a lot of employers here refuse to pay for travel so you have Dom carer traveling up and down 15 hours a day but only paid 8 pounds. Initially its might be fine but long term this is very draining and not appropriately compensated. .... a lot of the carer jobs for international is dom you are seeing up and down.

Another real life UK story, happened a few days ago ......

A known hypertensive man, was prescribed medications, to lower his BP levels.........

He did his own research about the prescribed drugs, DR Google informed him that possible side effects, could be weakness of his 3rd leg ........

Rather than returning to his GP, voice his concerns/or switching meds or let's assume his 3rd leg got weak.... Be placed on the magic blue pill, he completely refused to take his meds and not medically voice his concerns.......

He was at the restaurant last week enjoying himself last week, he had a cardiac event, rushed to hospital, after a few days, his life support machine was turned off.......

Not only did his 3rd leg eventually die, he also lost all the functions of all his body parts......... All body parts no longer required by him, body parts might be harvested for others to benefit.........

HEALTH IS WEALTH.......

NB : He also did not see the benefits of having a life assurance policy. They have now opened a go fund me page, towards burial expenses etc etc...... ..

Look after yourselves, nobody else will .........

Loan term 4 years : Guarantor sold his house after a few months and relocated, borrower lost her job after 1 year and could no longer service loan.......
