You just have to keep checking. Note the time you saw the first update here and try to check within that time frame tomorrow or next. According to the picture I saw, it should be up to 100 for May 26th

Yes you can contact Walspring today to help with the payment and you will get the receipt ASAP. However, if you think you have anything you want to change on your DS160, change it today too. After today don't do anything to avoid added stress.

My course is quantitative economics but on my i20 it is written as Econometrics and quantitative economics (major 1 while the space for major 2 was empty) and that was exactly what I filled on my ds160.
Now if I am asked do I say ; I am going to study quantitative economics or I am going to study econometrics and quantitative economics or I am going to study quantitative economics with a major in econometrics in my first year.

Please, I have been having issues with my CGI profile to schedule an interview date. My account has been frozen since May 8, and the service desk guys have been unable to resolve it. They said they had escalated the issue; thus, I should await the notification of the US embassy. I asked about the timeline. They said they cannot share the specific time the embassy would resolve the issue. Simply, I can’t proceed and they are not helping.

I am just trying to explore different options right now. Is it possible to create a new profile with my existing passport number and details?

I am currently in the US with F1, I just gave birth and my husband is about to go for his F2 visa interview, is it appropriate for him to tell the VO that he wants to come help me out for few months in taking care of baby while I go to school?

You honestly don't have any problem. You can even request for EA. Simply send the discharge papers with the additional documents (your i-20 as well). Search for Eminent on this thread and go through his transcript.

So I did my Visa interview today and was told it's been approved. However, I tried to track the status of my visa out of curiosity on https://ceac.state.gov/ and it says "Administrative Processing". I have googled what it means and it seems to be that it's for people who need additional screening and they are usually told during the interview? Sometimes the wait time can be weeks r even months?


I was told mine was approved so I am wondering if this is a normal status for everyone immediately after the interview.

I also tracked using https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ and was told my passport is still with the US consulate.

Now my question is, Is the administrative process status normal for everyone immediately after the interview or should I be worried?

Good day House. Please I am about to fill my DS160. I have 2 kids they were delivered in US. Now for the question who is accompanying you should I add only my spouse or my spouse and 2 kids. My spouse will be applying for F2.
I am afraid if I add all 3 the VO will check my funds as not enough as I just have the exact amount quoted by the school for one year. I am self funding. The school does not have funding at this time . Please can the gurus advice if I should add all family members as accompanying me.

Your kids are citizens. They don't need visa. Your husband can go as F2.
Your F2 can follow you or not, and the VO will not ask if you are not going together.
Possible questions if at all, what are you currently doing? How long will you be staying?, How long have you been together?

I filled my DS-160 form September last Year.I have been looking for appointment date since then But luckily for me I got one for next month.Now,I used this filled DS-160 confirmation number to book My appointment date.I want to fill a new DS-160 form then Put a new Intended Arrival date in the US(That's the major change I want to make).Now I'm confused as to whether I take both(old and new) DS-160 confirmation pages to the Consulate then leave unchanged, the previous DS-160 Confirmation number I used to book my Appointment on my CGI portal.

Honestly, I see no reason to avoid anyone. Infact going with the mentality to the embassy is wrong if you get all your stuffs correctly. Korean or no Korean, if you know what you're actually doing then no one should be a problem.

1. Just as the VO said, it's not cheap. None of the two(23k and 49k)
2. If DSO said funding will be decided by end of May, why didn't you wait for decision before going for the interview?
3. How was your 1st and 2nd interview was it same school??

You should ask the school if it's required for funding that's the koko. If they clearly state that you don't need it for them to fund you then if you can't afford, don't write. It's not required for interview

If the tuition waiver amount is on your award letter, you can compare it with the one on your school's site but to make it easier, just request for your i-20. The DSO or the person that's handling processed of i-20 will let you know the amount that should be on the statement of account.

I just had my 1st EA request denied for Lagos Embassy. I am within the 60 day resumption period, program and GA starts July 5th (Summer) and 11th respectively. I paid for my sevis and mrv and submitted i-20, GA offer letter, program admission letter, visa fee receipt and SEVIS FEE receipt. I am still confused why I got the denial.

however, I have cancelled the Lagos and switched to Abuja with hopes for approval. My headache now is after scheduling for Abuja for a regular date, the emergency appointment option is not reflecting. Please advise on what to do next.

Looks like you can't use the EA option again. Sorry about that.
So here's the thing, you have to keep checking for earlier dates. You can join the WhatsApp groups that others are or Keep a timely check by yourself. Hopefully you get an early date before end of month
