But you people have missed the whole point! This should not be about Kanu or Okocha at all!! The biggest Nigerian football star - living or dead - remains undisputedly Rashidi Yekini. His achievements remain unparalled and both Kanu and Okocha never achieved half of what Yekini did for Nigeria. Club achievements and all that are by far insignificant, personal and totally inferior to National achievements. This also explains why Lionel Messi despite his seeming illustrious club performance will never be greater than Pele or even Maradona. Can you imagine, the so-called World footballer of the year - Lionel Messi - playing in a World Cup match for 90 mins and Argentina going down 4 - 0 to Germany!!!! THIS CAN NEVER & DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE DAYS OF PELE & MAEADONA Yet Messi continues to razzle- dazzle (like Klin detergent in water) when he plays for his local Barcelona Club! This is not the stuff that great players are made of. It is also for this reason that the late George Best (unarguably the best English Footballer ever) was never compared and universally accepted like Pele or Maradonna. Rashidi Yekini virtually single-handedly took us to our 1st World Cup in USA '94 scoring 9 goals in the process (a record)! At the World Cup, he fittingly scored our 1st goal (another record)!!! I don't think both Kanu and Okocha combined have scored up to 5 goals for the Super Eagles! It is also on record that it was during Rashidi Yekini's time that Nigeria became the best footballing nation in Africa as we were ranked No 5 on the FIFA ranking (the highest ever by any African side till date). Please, let us always be truthful and give honour to those who truly deserve it - RASHIDI YEKINI IS IT!!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

Thanks! Until now, I don't think I've ever heard of Propofol before! Oh Michael, he was just too artificial - plastic surgeries, amphetamines, hormone-inducing injections etc, etc |

Well, for me, Michael Jackson had the world in his pocket, but later ended up having a pocket full of trouble! Elvis Priestly, before him, ended up the same way - if not worse! It appears too much fame can be a Frankeistein monster, isn't it? I never expected Katherine to divulge so much about her late son, methinks it's time that let Michael be. In more ways than one, he contributed overwhelmingly more than any other musician in making the world a better place to live in. sad. |

Thank you very much for your interest in my thread. However, it will be unfair for me to take all the credit when I know that I actually 'stole' the prediction from American Chronicle. One of their seasoned sports writers had written a strong analytical report 2 weeks before the commencement of the World Cup in which he predicted the fall of the African teams, the fall of Brazil and Argentina! And it has all come to pass!! So, you want to know who will win the World Cup on July 11? Well, we'll have to go back 36 years in time and space for the final match between Germany and Holland! Ha, you are tempting me to leak out all the report oooo!! Seeing is believing, isn't it? So, why don't you go and check things out for yourself at http://www.americanchronicle.com/spool/articles/mine/view/162477 You will indeed be shocked at some people's power of accurately seeing tomorrow! |

I really don't know, but I keep having this eerie feeling that Argentina despite Messi (who is yet to score a single goal) and all the other star players will soon be bundled out of this World Cup? Messi's ceaseless curling shots are too timid that any average goal keeper can easily catch and hold onto them. But because the shots are coming from Messi himself, the world (except me) sees it as a big deal! Cristiano Ronaldo has just been booted out by Spain's David Villa, same for Samuel Eto Fils of Cameroun and same was the fate of Wayne Rooney! If you take a closer look at the Nigeria - Argentina match of June 12, you will readily see that had our Super Eagles any ambition, they would have created an upset that day! I know for sure that our Super Eagles of 1994 would have easily disgraced this Argentine squad led by Messi, with due respect ofcourse. So, all in all, the real test for the Argentines comes up on Saturday against the indomitable German Machines! Indeed, I have this continuous eerie feeling that the Argentina's success bubble story will soo burst - let's just wait and see! |

Please everyone should sheath their sword or hold their raving horses! Mecheonu!! A begggggiiiiiiii! Yes, I agree 100% with the first poster that Nigeria can still qualify, absolutely yes! Because the South Koreans wll come to the field to sell groundnuts, abi? Kai, U nigerians, your greatest promblem is that U na too like to deceive una selves! The best that we can get out of that match is a draw: that's the truth! As usual, we should go back to our proverbial drawing board (and at the rate at which we are always going back to this same board, I'd be surprised if the board is still existing at all) and see how we can mend the pieces of our national football life in readiness for Brazil 2014. PLEASE LET'S START TALKING ABOUT BRAZIL 2014, LESS THAN 1,500 DAYS AWAY! |

The gist by Jumoke on BankyW is very revealing indeed! But it also shows that farts are no respecter of anybody, celebrity or whatever! Farthing is a normal human biological function, but I do agree that one needs to control the process of releasing it, to avoid personal embarrassment (which at times can be worse than stealing). I also know that those who consume a lot of beans and boiled eggs have a great tendency to fart a lot! ![]() |

Thanks, jare. These things can happen to anybody o!! I remember the day I entered a bus and as I was about sitting down, my buttocks gave a silent whistle like those flying xmas bangers - whizzzz! The accompanying smell was horrible with people cursing and hissing, but I just kept quiet in shame. |
