Jinko 550W solar panel is not a perfect or recommended match for the standard itel Power Tank (1000Wh/500W model, IESS-05K10N) due to voltage incompatibility. The maximum panel for it is 400w
The max voltage range for the powertank is 60v, the 550w panel is not up to 60v.
Max current is 13.5 amps. Can handle 13.7 amps too (535w bifacial)

Comes with an mppt charge controller, so yes it clips the excess current 0.2 which is negligible.

ARE YOU SAYING 1KWH BATTERY AND 300W INVERTER CAN HANFLE THEOSE ITEMS HE LISTED?

ONLY THE TV IS ABOUT 100W
OX FAN 18" ABOVE 90W
2 RECHARGEABLE FANS MORE THAN 100W

ARE YOU LOOKING AT HIS BUDGET OR TELLING HIM WHATS ON GROUND

LET HIM ADD HIS TOTAL LOAD WATTAGE AND SEE THE POSSIBILITY
It's a 500w inverter.
Telling him considering budget and load. The Itel Power tank can handle his loads quite perfectly if properly managed.

He won't be using all loads at same time you know. From personal experience it will serve well. You can even add a fridge to this load and use mostly during day time.

If TV and non rechargeable fans go off by latest 11pm, yes it is very practical.

I'm a newbie to solar set up
Kindly recommend a trusted dealer for me in ogun state or lagos state.
What are the other things I need to buy.
Thank you so much.
It's widely available nationwide. You can get from Jumia at 330k, or from itel solar website at 304k.
Get solar panel from a reliable seller or Fouani.
Get an installer from your place.

Please someone should help me do the calculations on a budget of 500k as a beginner:
49inches smart tv
2 rechargeable fan
24hours airtel internet
18inches ox fan to be used only 4hrs during the day
A laptop and 2 phones
Get the Itel Power tank 304k
Panel Jinko 550w
Installation.

Can give you 24hrs depending on Sunlight and usage.

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 9:35pm On Feb 12
The Itel power tank is a low budget solution for intending solar users.

Cost break down ;
Power tank 500w (1kwh) 304k
Jinko 535w bifacial panel 107,500
Installation and materials 130k... Length of pv cable caused the price hike.

Loads.. Normal 32 inches tv
Small Home theater
Lighting points
And a standing refrigerator.
Dc standing fan.

Gets filled by 1pm due to lack of early morning sunlight (Should fill faster in a better location)

A full charge lasts through the night with the above loads mentioned leaving at least 35% charge, although TV and home theater goes off latest 11pm

If you're on a super tight budget and this solution can work for you, then by all means go for it. Highly recommended !

I won’t be going to arena anymore, I think I will diy with this. This is the best solution imo. Ordered 2 already
Before you install check if the inverter has one installed. Coz mine came with it that's why the fan only comes up when needed.

. I noticed the noise reduce only when you turn the inverter off and turn it on again.
I see... Mine is by a very large window that gets enough cool air naturally so I guess it also plays a major role.

Infact in the past while using submersible 1.5hp the fan noise usually comes up, but after I cleaned up the vents you can barely hear it while pumping water. Maybe the grey type handles more than the white one, who knows. Other users need to comment sha. Meanwhile get the brushless fans to see if there's improvement.

ksmart027:
Between the haisic and bread which one of them makes more noise?
My Haisic is mostly quiet unless on high load..

It's even still relatively quiet when using submersible pump 1.5hp

U only notice the noise from usage of microwave and high loads of which the noise comes back down after u turn it off.

Another instance where I face loud fan noise is when charging at high current... Say 50 amps and above. The higher u go, the louder it is.

Mine is super ventilated o, I guess that plays a major role.. Like it receives enough amount of cool air from a large window close by.

7 months in and my lithium battery still holding full capacity even with 2 heavy AC use, electric iron, oven, washing machine and basically every load on a daily. Best decision I made thanks to listening to expert opinions on this thread, meanwhile my in-law don park his load of LA batteries after just a year+ on much lighter loads.

Even the lithium-ion batteries I got for my rechargeable fan has outperformed the 2 LA which barely lasted 3 months for each replacement.

Bottom line is, LA batteries are a very bad investment choice for new and intending users. Use your money wisely once and for all!

Good morning house, on a budget if N1M and according to the replies to my previous question to run 4 ceiling fans, 8 lighting points (10w) which ll definitely drop at night, one 65" TV, and a freezer during the day, then phones/powerbank and PC occasionally. This is what I intend getting

1. 12v 1.5kva hybrid inverter (Haisic/Bread)
2. 12v 4kwh battery from Reed
3. 2 500W+ solar panels
4. Acessories and installation

Please can this setup run efficiently considering the load listed?
Can it be easily expanded incase of extra load?
And please Bread/Haisic which to go for?

Thanks
Sure it will. Go for Haisic for low fan noise

Since usage is mainly for day time and on your strict budget, consider this:

* 12v 3000w (1500w continuous) pure sine wave sachet Inverter (Contact Valto or IInnov8)

* Powmr 60a Charge controller aluminium body type (contact Iinnov8)

* 2 panels preferably Jinko 525w or 530w,as you said (connection would most likely be in parallel because of voltage limit for 12v system)

* Cworth 12.8v 100ah Battery (contact Dam5reey)

* then use the remaining money to sort out accessories and installation

Cheers.
Seunmuham follow this advice or alternatively,

Get an Itel power tank 1kwh comes with a 500w inverter all in one system for 304k ( inbuilt lithium battery )

1 500w panel at 100k ish.

It's a very good and efficient system. Do more research on tiktok and YouTube.

You can unplug and move at the end of every business day, but e get small weight sha 😂

I think it will be perfect for phone charging business.

It's not there. I've decided to go with the haisic but the person they referred me to I don't like his response when it came to to us agreeing on how to go about the sale. Or maybe na just clash of egos shaa. I don't want to go into details but if I can get someone else here to buy it from, no problem
It's available on Jumia too

My bro, you say kindly? Lolz...if I like make I no do am.

On a serious note, I have done some research, I am not saying cworth is great, but from the capacity tests (usually for smaller capacity batteries) I've seen, it has done slightly better than felicity.

Please if you have evidence to dispute this based on your own research, kindly share.
Thank you
It's ok since you've done your research & are satisfied. It was just a piece of advice.

Thanks your response, I wanted to go for Felicity products too, but based on some research, I learn that their batteries do not give out the full capacity as stated on rating.

It appears c worth is doing well in that regard. And as for service centers, I browsed and saw cworth have one in lekki.

Do you have any experience using the product?
Kindly do more research on Cworth actual capacity sha...

Good morning my chairmen them, where can I get this in lithium battery or have it built with lithium battery?

I don tire to dey change this fan battery every 4 months.
Available on Jumia for cheap. And yes the internal charging system will charge it. Just connect red to red and black to black and voila.

Been using mine for close to a year now. Lasts about 5hrs on a full charge. My fan is rated 40w. More recent ones draw as low as 25w so would probably last longer.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Did you install an external circuit breaker by yourself for protection?
You mean between inverter and battery? No I didn't. Mostly for 24v it's not compulsory. The battery has an on and off button and that's enough.

For higher voltages it's highly recommended.
