I own a 3.5kva Generator, my inverter is 24v 4.2kva. No matter what I do it won't charge from the generator. Even with charging current lowered to 20 amps.

Whenever I turn on I always hear a clicking sound from the inverter and the light will be flickering. My system is grid only for now. How do I go about this?

True old models. So newer models consume less?

1hp is not 745w in real life oo
0.5hp is doing 792w i.e 66A at 12v.

My 0.5hp does 1.2kw
Another 0.75hp does 1.6kw
