Oh. It's been great. No issues at all. Bms is rated for 200amps, I've done up to 173 amps discharge and it took it like a champ.

Comes with a display & monitoring via jk bms app on phone. Best deal ever!

I don't know if Mrreed changed cases for recent models, mine aesthetically is 10/10. Highly recommended at that price ✌🏾.

Did you follow the correct procedure of doing the sub from the My airtel app?
Make sure u have the amount on ur smartcash,
Open the Airtel app, then choose the Smartcash option, input ur password and voila.

Mind you, sometimes you have to close and reopen your smartcash to see the discount of 2,500 waiting in the balance.

I set mine to automatically reboot once every week atleast.

I am not sure about 48v Haisic hybrid inverter.

Like someone gave an opinion above, when going 48v you have to go all out for the best else it defeats the purpose. There's Growatt, Srne, Felicity, Firman, Deye and the likes.

Mind you 5kwh will most likely not be able to power you comfortably from Sundown to sun up, unless on very strict energy management.

Quoting oga dollarnaira himself, solar na sense. So do your energy audit and know the battery capacity that will comfortably meet your needs.

Correct. Actually, when we talk of KWh, the voltage doesn't count. So, 8KWh at 1V is more than 4KWh at 1000V. I think the mistake is in thinking in terms of AH where the amount of KWh or energy is dependent on the voltage. 250AH at 48V will be more than 400AH at 24V for instance. But when we talk of KWH, the voltage and the AH had been factored in. So, the higher KWH always give more energy.

However, 48V has some other ancillary advantages over 24V, but not in terms of overall energy.

Yes. A 48v system overall has it's advantages in terms of efficiency and wire cost (Which is negligible in a small system) however 8kwh 24v is double the energy capacity of 4kwh 48v and cannot be said to be better in any context as bassdow opined.

The efficiency in this case is very negligible compared to losing precious energy back up by half.

My recommendation is according to your budget sir.
Felicity from your quote is 5kwh which is way less than 8kwh, while being more expensive @ 1m compared to 850 - 870k for more. An 8kwh battery will last you longer, almost twice what a 5kwh battery will do. (Also, do your research on Felicity lithium batteries bearing in mind true and actual capacity).

That said, Haisic 8kwh is said to be 280ah which is actually 7kwh true capacity but is a far better deal.

The best deal of all is Mrreed's @ 870k with true rated capacity of 8.1kwh. I'll recommend this from personal experience.

Mind you, this recommendation is strictly on 24v, & from personal experience since your load is less than mine. There are other available products in the market that can serve you too but you probably need to up your budget above 2m.

If you're going with my recommendations, you can contact Dam5rey (Solaris Surge) trusted here for your stuffs (Inverter, protection box & batteries ) at very good prices, then for Mrreed his contact is readily available too. Source panels from Fouani store, installer from your location and you're good.

you didn't indicate if what you were being offered is NEW or USEd.

Also for your load type, 5KVA is just a baseline. Should work doesn't mean the system would be comfortable. To have some headRoom, go for 6.5KVA, or 7KVA and above.

Also would suggest you go for 48v even if it means going for a lower battery capacity e.g instead of 24v 8kwh, go for 48v 4kwh BUT if you have more funds, try go for something higher than 4kwh at 48v but at all at all, 48v 4kwh is better than 24v 8kwh.

When you contact Airtel via X dm, they'll 1st ask u to provide phone number for checks. Tell them it's not unique to your line that it's a general issue with your area. Then they'll provide you with something like this below.

After filling out the form, they will look into it and surely resolve it within 24-48hrs. No dey gree for that phone number checks 😀

It's the only way I get solutions from them and it works all the time. No stress.

This is why Starlink is thriving. Small issues they will change the entire package for you, free of charge.

Omo Starlink is 600k o with subscription fee more than double that of Airtel and without ups.

Airtel is basically free. You can easily get another one with the next month sub if you wish.

Finally got the Jinko 535w bifacial panel direct from Fouani store.

I have been able to shift the ODU to a new location in my room and the network seems to be stable now unlike the pass 3 days.

But a new problem, my phone keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes while the router is still active and working.

Any solution to this?

Go into your IDU page and turn off the option to optimize wifi

Moved it to the roof - nothing
Moved it outside - nothing
Tried every corner of my house - nothing
Band lock, Cell lock - nothing

And mind you this thing was going at 25mbps when I first got it

Either way this is the 12th day this thing has been going on had to subscribe on other devices for my work since the only thing the WiFi could do was stream.

I've called airtel each day within this 12 day period, kept on being told random deadlines from 24 hours to 72 hours to escalating to network engineer to escalating to HQ.

Within those 12 days no one from Airtel could tell me the reason until I managed to wrangle it out of one day before yesterday that apparently there's a packet loss in my area (Don't know how true that is or maybe the dude was just lying).

Currently I even think that they've marked my number because I called today twice, I escalated to supervisor twice then was kept on hold for upwards of 40minutes twice until the call cut itself. Had to use a separate number (Maybe I'm just paranoid tho)

Either way, I don't think I'll resubscribe for this. if when I pay for a 30 days subscription I'll only be able to use half before whatever this is occurs again (Although I was told that I'd be compensated when fixed but who knows). I've also reported to ncc (Don't know if that'll do anything after all na Naija we dey) and will post my experience on X cause I see other people experiencing the same thing

Unfortunately there's no MTN FibreX in my area so I'll just switch back to my previous ISP which is wifi.com. It's kinda just as slow but at least I get decent speeds towards the night and early morning.

Sorry man. What I usually do is to contact them via twitter, they'll ask for router phone number, say it's not unique to you but a general network issue with ur area.

They'll ask u to fill out some details, then in about 48hrs u should be on. This has always worked for me.

I did not experience any network issues here o... At that moment, I was updating 2 phones at the same time , 17 and 17promax to latest iOS for file transfer...and some phones are also connected, and everything dey go smoothly , without delay

That episode only lasted about 15 minutes and it's been back to normal ever since.

Experienced about 10-15 minutes of no service after which network went from 50mbps down to barely 200kbps.

Every night from 8-10pm network is stuck at about 2mbps. It's crazy how consistent this is. From 11pm till next day 7pm it's 50mbps and above.

That's Band 3. I think Airtel has issues with their Band 7 (both 3256 & 3400) today. Thankfully B3 was okay. This could be peculiar to my location though.

That's one of the disadvantages of Band/Cell locking.

Band 3 here is garbage. Infact all bands are just so bad only upload speeds are great.
