Car Talk / Re: FRSC - Items You Must Have In Your Vehicle Always by unforgiven: 5:47pm On May 15, 2013
pappilo: Warning triangle (C-caution): Agree
Fire extinguisher: Shouldn't be compulsory but useful
Jack, Spare tyre and Wheel spanner: Some new cars e.g BMW have runflats and do not come equipped with these items.
Water: Stupid
Hydraulic: Dafuq is this?
Transmission fluid: Stupid
Torch light: Shouldn't be compulsory but useful
First aid kit: shouldn't be compulsory but useful
Spare fan belt: Stupid

With the list provided they might as well tell us to travel everywhere with our mechanic in the boot.

with the quality of cars that i see plying the Nigerian road and the quality if spare parts in the market, all these are rightfully required.
Crime / Re: Girl Stabs Her Classmate To Death For Attempted Rape by unforgiven: 4:04pm On May 13, 2013
Okija juju:

I am now very very confused...

1. The girls age has no bearing on the issue at hand. Cynthia Okosogu was older than 18 when she travelled across regions of Nigeria to meet strangers in a hotel.

2. She did take a decision that eventually saved her life.

3. Her following him to his house has nothing to do with anything. I know a girl that was raped inside her own fathers house. Another girl was raped repeatedly by the driver employed by her father. So whats your point?!

4. It does not matter if he took her to the bar, bought her birthday presents or if she promised him her virginity on her 18th birthday eve, the point remains that she said she didn’t give consent to be raped and he tried to force his way on her.

5. The absence of a witness is not the absence of a crime nor does it make her claims less true. If the boy had succeeded in raping her and she came out to report, I'm sure there wouldn’t have been any witnesses.

6. Going to a guys house by 10pm is not a crime. Sleeping on the same bed with a woman is not and has never been a license to f`uck her nor does it mean consent. Wearing a bum short by 10pm 0r 3am is not and will never be a crime. The fact that a girl follows you to your house from a bar or pub does not mean she wants to f`uck you nor is it a license to r`ape her.

P.S: I noticed you hyphenated your 'Attempted rape'.. Funny stuff!! If she hadn’t stabbed that muthafucker to death, it would have been 'Rap`e' and maybe even 'murder' as well.

thank you

BoboYekini: Stop trying so hard to be dim. How about if the boy was your brother? Isn't frame-up a more common crime?

frame up, for what?

has anyone come online to say what the girl and the guy has had in common? i am yet to get that.

coogar:

osisi, be at your sharpest wit!
she could have removed his trousers to make her story stick. she could even have had an accomplice to help stage the crime scene to make her story believeable.

it was dark and yet when the knife dropped, she knew where to find the knife and fatally stab his attacker. ho hum!

1. go back and read her story again
2. with your conspiracy story, tell us WHY she had to kill him
3. tell us hwy she had to report to the police station

answer these and i would have more questions for you

AdekunleBalogun: If you know the extent at which some Nigerian go because they want to get a car sometimes surprises me. Fasting upon fasting, vigil upon vigil and thanksgiving upon thanksgiving... I wonder, do oyinbos do thanks giving when they bought a car or do they wash with different wines?...

the 'oyinbos" you are talking about have very GOOD, EFFICIENT and FUNCTIONAL transport system.

Transportation, like housing, electricity, etc, is a major challenge in the Nigerian society. Always, your ability to resolve a major challenge shows that you have moved a notch up, in the society.

In March 2011, market research figures released by comScore suggested that Myspace had lost 10 million users between January and February 2011, and that it had fallen from 95 million to 63 million unique users during the previous twelve months.[61] Myspace registered its sharpest audience declines in the month of February 2011, as traffic fell 44% from a year earlier to 37.7 million unique U.S. visitors. Advertisers have been reported as unwilling to commit to long term deals with the site.[62]

i wonder how many times the people of Israel rejected Moses, even after he had brought them out of Egypt. i am not saying that Buhari is Moses
