Abeg, I don tire to dey donate for my mechanic.
Rav4 2003 version
My Stabilizer Rod has broken again! That is my Christmas present from him. Car just came back yesterday from his workshop. I noticed some strange sounds under the hood and imediately called him to take it away. It spent 3 days with him before he certified it ok. Now I've just driven the thing for 20 minutes and rod is broken! Grrrrrrrrr
Admitted my road is not the smoothest but 3 times broken in a year?
Something is amiss jare!
I need a new mechanic joor. No, I need an engineer.
Any one?
Let me list the issues you will be tackling now:
1. Fix my broken rod while tracing the source of the problem. I believe the system is not really balanced.
2. The drivers window makes some serious queeky noise while winding up or down, and this after some surgery last month. SMH.
3. The car drags alot. I know this because the mechanic says the fuel filter/pump is dirty whenever I complain. He cleans or changes them, I enjoy a smooth ride for say a week or two, then we are back to square one.
4. Engjne has been tropicalised (their word ooo). It means my fans are running riot. Hate that noise! Abeg, I need a temperature regulator, abi na thermostat? My mech says the car will over-heat if I try it. Well, yeah, I want to try it now.
Any takers please?
I stay in Lagos.
My playgrounds are Ikeja, Alausa, Agege, Ishage and environs.

mayor2013: As for number 1; come to think of it the mechanic might not be getting the right sway bar link for that car reason for consistent breakage. There is absolutely nuffin so big fixing a sway bar link if he gets the right one
Hmmmmmm
As for number 2: the motor inside the car maybe giving way or the mechanism is giving way. Sometimes it could be as a result of water that gets in through the windows down to the door thay causes moisture so therefore rust would prevail
They said weak motor at some point. Now its been changed its worse. Spoiling the glass by the day.
As for number 3: a thorough diagnosis would reveal what ia going on. Scan the ride. Your car is obd2 compliant. You can't continue to change fuel pump like who is changing a baby's pampers
Yes it is. Nothing comes out of diagnosis. Maybe I need i bigger scanner?
As for number 4: how long has your car been tropicalised? 2 years sir. 2 years of annoying fan noise. |

Do I purchase a native Inverter and separate charge controller?
Or
Buy an Hybrid Inverter?
My system will consist of a 3.5kva inverter with 4 200ah batteries.
Thanks. |

DUNKA: An high end inverter I.e magnum, sma, exceltech, froniius, outback etc would be best but in a lower range Prag, voltron, power light etc will serve. So APS is a no no? How much would a high end with same spec cost? |

Dear all, I am about purchasing APS Inverter 3.5kva plus 4 pieces of 200ah batteries. To add solar panels later.
Any advice? Caution? Better options?
My expected bill is as follows:
Inverter 138k
Battery 90k times 4 equals 360k
Rack/Stand 15k
Installation 40k
Total - 553k
Stop me before I make a mistake.
Note: just for my beloved TV and 14 energy saving bulbs a maybe a fan or two.
Total load less than 1,000w. |

Are you talking about the guy the holy spirit impregnated his mother ?? Are you talking about the guy who they claimed died 9000 years ago and they still managed to get his pictures even though there was no camera 9000 years ago
And who created earth, water, light, and air before your God was born ?? Oh, i now remember, there was no earth, water and air, God made them all.
Who created God ?? He just came from your brain, there was no earth, the earth was of no form or void, no air, no light, no water, all of a sudden your God fell out of another planet
God is a spirit Bullshit
I can worship the whites, they are the Gods i see, how can some white guys make a whole world believe that there's an idiot called God, that's legendary
God doesn't exist That's what we grew up to
Now, bring out your bible and read these bible verses God doesn't exist
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 Leviticus 20:10 Deuteronomy 4:5-8 Deuteronomy 20:10-15 Ephesians 6:5 Deuteronomy 25:11-12 Colossians 3:22-24 Exodus 21:20-21 Matthew 5:17-19
The same God they claim is loving and forgiving will still allow his children die from cancer and some of his children are poor as fucck and hungry I still respect the whites for holding the world hostage and making them believe that there's someone called God who lives in Heaven

Qristien: People, I don't think he's talking about buying and driving.
I think he means buying and selling, like being a tricycle merchant. If this is what you mean, then it is a profitable trade, especially since the price of dollar climbs everyday. You could buy it for N300000 today to sell for N350000; the next day you will hear it is now sold at N350000. Your guess is as good as mine.
If however, you are talking about buy and drive, then I follow the opinions of the previous contributors - if you are not ready to drive it yourself, then be ready to suffer headaches. And why would I buy from him when I can approach the assembly plant here in Lagos at a lower price? Not advisable. |

Alisegun: Ladies, Be Careful! These Are 10 Warning Signs That You Are Dating An Immature Man…Run Away!
Relationships can be really exhilarating but they can also be destroyed by immaturity. These are signs that your partner is immature.
Most guys have a childish side to their personality and like to be the big kid sometimes, but some men take it to the extreme. At first, you might find his immaturity quite endearing, but that childishness can wear a bit thin after a while. Don’t get caught out dating a guy who can’t seem to take life seriously at all and look for these signs that you are dating an immature man.
1. Immature man hates being depended on
One of the most obvious signs of an immature man is that he absolutely dislikes being depended on. When things go wrong, the immature man won’t be there helping you out. The men-boys of the world will do anything to avoid being the one that people depend on. He’d rather ignore problems and hope that they go away.
Probably wants you to improve your problem-solving skills. Nothing as annoying as ineptitude
2. He can’t hold a serious conversation
Another sign that your man has yet to grow up is his inability to hold an intelligent and meaningful conversation. Communication will not be on his list of skills, he would rather make a joke of things and move on to a lighter topic quickly.
ehm...this is a more common ailment among the feminine species

Family › Re: Relatives Turning Us Into Their World Bank by Unionised(m): 3:26am On Jun 28, 2016 |
I have been with my husband for a while now and I can say we have been doing well for ourselves. But i have a problem with some relatives that are turning us into their atm machine. My husband has an uncle who has always had other people taking care of his children (5children from 3 different women) for him whilst he goes out to enjoy himself without a care in the world.
Last year my in laws asked us to take in one of his daughters so she could go to school in the city. I was hesitant at first since i did not know much about her or the father, but eventually I warmed up to the idea. Fast forward 6months later, I am sick and tired of it. She does not do her homework without being forced and sometimes she skips school. I have already been called 3times by her teacher making complaints about her attitude in class and her perfomance. If you do not dig for her homework from her bag she will not do it. This girl is already 11 and she is only in grade 4 and she bed-wets.
I do not usually resort to beating a child because I have told myself that should be the last resort, but at the same time I am tired of buying things for her because she is always destroying them. She will wear her best clothes to go play with mud outside and she has turned her school shoes in slippers. She is always losing her stationery and she has torn 2 of her school uniforms already. She once broke the toilet and we had to get a new (not toilet seat, i mean the actual damn toilet) and she broke the plasma in the living room barely 5months after we got it.
As if she is not a big enough headache, her father always finds himself in my house almost every month and he will not leave until you compensate him for coming to your house uninvited. Of course he will expect you to give him money and groceries to take home.
Everything has been frustrating my husband as well and he is considering taking the girl back to her father's house as soon as schools closes and to be honest i really do not have a problem with that, but my issue is that his family is against the idea because its not a christian thing to do (1Timothy 5v8)
To those who have been in the same situation, how did you resolve it amicably and where did you draw the line]
MINDSET OF A TYPICAL STEP-MOTHER
Unnecesary irritation.
Forget the father, You have no love for the daughter.
So send her back before you endanger her life.
