In cases like this, this is what a true leader must do... “If we have learnt anything in the ongoing flooding of some parts of the state, it is that there is an immediate, even urgent need for us to embark upon a review and re-engineering of our canals and drainage systems".

The flooding has taught us a lesson, we need to watch the way it came then find a way to channel it into the canals.

Do u understand what was written at all Igbos do speak Yoruba yes but not all, I have example in my house, 2 of my tenants are igbos their wives can speak Yoruba and their children as well but the men only understands WA nothing else. Yoruba blike German for their ears.

A typical Hausa man has no problem with an Igbo, and vice versa. Both travel out of their regions to do business, and adapt to the culture wherever they go. Hausas in Igboland speak Igbo, and Igbos in the North speak Hausa. The problem of this country is Yorubas. They don't travel, even those that are in the North and Igboland cannot speak Igbo or Hausa, even when they have been there for ages. The earlier Hausa and Igbos realize the cancer of this country is Yorubaa...causing trouble left and right.

what are u insinuating, am a Yoruba who lived most of my past years in agege where we have large numbers of Hausa been to the north only once and I can speak Hausa fluently. how many igbo man can speak Yoruba fluently despite living in Lagos for decades.??

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari referring to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as a “co-ordinator” and not Acting President, is “insulting and dangerous”.

Buhari flew out of the country Sunday night, to undergo further medical check-ups in the UK. But before then, he sent a letter to the Senate notifying the upper chamber of his absence.

The Senator representing Abia-North at the National Assembly, Mao Ohuabunwa, on Tuesday, said the transfer of power from Buhari to Yemi Osinbajo was not clear.

Yes dear, i quite agree with u to a limited extent, yes Oduduwa exiled from Bini and settled in Ile-ife but do u also know that the last born of Oduduwa Oranmiyan became the Oba of Benin kingdom and when he was leaving for Ile-Ife he gave the throne to his son who also became the the Oba of benin which means the Yorubas has more influence in bini than the binis in yoruba land.
