kimjongJezebel: 1. The mace is a really big deal The mace is the symbol of authority in the Senate and no plenary sessions can legitimately take place in its absence from the chamber. It signifies that the Senate is formally in session and that its proceedings are official.
Maybe you need to read again. You think the thugs that went for the Mace are illiterates, they knew very well why they targeted the Mace
It's you that needed to read back my comment... this thing called mace is not important to me and it dosent put food on my table, forget about the symbol of authority, this phrase was adopted from Britain because they are the mother of all paliaments and thats not the thing we need in this country most common wealth countries adopt the same but America dosen't. Because of this rubbish, the electoral bill that was supposed to be deliberated on was suspended. How has this helped u? Besides why ddnt they have a spare mace...?
Agege boiz will never act in this manner... typical agege boi will serve u hot b4 u blow cool.., they don't take sh*t. Shoot first then talk later. Warri omo-agege sorry enjoy ur suspension
Rubbish gov't, rubbish legislators, rubbish leaders... this sh*t called mace is an inconsequential thing to our country and our democracy, the most important thing is the plenary, discussions and deliberations not this stupid Westminster over-celebrated culture. Even America dosen't regard it
Good news we had three recipients and 2 of them are from Lagos state even though they re not Yoruba but still speaks loud and own the achievements to Yoruba people, because if they had played politics or use sentiments Nigeria might not be on that least or have just one recipient.
LagosCiti: Iyana Ipaja and Ikotun should be on his priority list. Those 2 places, at present, would make anyone delete the word Mega from Mega-city.
Igando road is also filled with LAWMA waste. I really pity those who are enduring the environmental hazard around Oko Filling and Lanre bus stops in Igando.
Lagos State should try to acquire some massive hectares of Land in Ogun state and sign and MOU with the state on waste disposal and recyclin before ogun fully develops, thats the only way Lagos can eliminate waste.
Remove ikotun cos dat one is an LG on its own, igando is under ojo LG, iyana ipaja is half agege half alimosho. We need total construction of the old otta road in ekoro and many more in oke odo and agbado generically.
Alcatraz005: Following the renewed vigor of the igbos to migrate to the SW, I suggest that Ogun State (my own state) provides land and reviews its tax laws(opportunity for tax lawyers in my dear state) to accommodate our igbo brothers who have vowed to empty their cities in search of greener pastures in yorubaland. For us in Ogun State and yorubaland in general, we are ready for the influx of our igbo brothers as long as they are law abiding and pay their taxes regularly. This way, Ogun State and our igbo brothers would benefit from the conducive ambience for business and the tax revenue that the state stands to gain.
Since our igbo brothers want to emigrate to our lands by force, we are ready to absorb them.
Ogun State is ready for business!
You mean u want them to come and develop your state
