I dont get Mount. Can u at least raise ur head and pick better options. Pulisic another ball hugger |
Thats a penalty. |
I really dont like Chilwell. All pace and no brain |
Werner's in the mood. Me likey |
Kai has picked up a hamstring injury. At least Tammy is back in the squad. Let him show us the staggering stuff he's made of ![]() |
Tuchel confirms Top 4 is the primary target and any other thing is follow come |
Just realized while checking up on some stats that Giroud's actually taller than Tammy Who knew.. Probably explains his uselessness at headers ![]() |
For those asking why Azpi played RWB ahead of James. See Tuchels comment below “Reecey played in the back three and we put Azpi up higher. They changed the position because we know about the favourite position of Jamie Vardy in transition and we wanted to have Reecey’s power, Reecey’s acceleration, and top speed against him to eliminate this threat. He did fantastic today. Very very happy. “On the same side, we wanted to have Azpi a bit higher because with his experience and his character he takes a bit more risk than Reecey in the last line. If Azpi could have scored the first goal and it was not deflected before him, it would have been a great decision. |
mikeywise:To pretty much close down Vardy which by the way TT was spot on in James is pretty useless as a RWB |
Has any Goalkeeper ever scored to win a game before. The dark days are upon us. This week has been really terrible for Chelsea |
KingAlabi:Just a few drinks . We'll be fine, we've had worse days.Would take 10 lifetimes to catchup with the pain of Iniesta's pop and/or Terry's slip |
Well at least, Now we'll learn to lower our expectations from this team ![]() |
swiz123:Fine margins matter a lot especially recently under Tuchel. We need to be able to nick wins with our GK not in spite of him. He doesnt even inspire confidence among the back line This has become a regular theme under Kepa. Every goal he concedes always gets debated. Also Curious that as soon as our opponents see Kepa they start taking long pops at our goal It is not inconceivable that Mendy saves that. With Kepa, Always 1 shot 1 goal. Another player who's escaped a lot of criticism tonight is James. Pretty useless in possession, Even Azpi at RWB was all over the place Honestly, we've got a few upgrades to make. Under Tuchel, James, CHO and Chilwell are so negative in possession, constantly ignoring the space in front of them and preferring to stop and side foot the ball to a team mate. They dont even take risks. Why are our players so scared of losing the ball. We need very direct players - Someone like Aouar in the team |
Everyone scores a worldie against Kepa. Clown keeps hopping to fool his forefathers |
Anyway I'll take this loss only if it means we win the CL. The concept of sunk cost must never be lost on Tuchel and Chelsea |
Nothing more annoying than Deluded Brendan Winning it |
Ibime: ![]() |
The ref was too eager there |
The activity Kepa forms irritate me a lot. Always hopping from one place to another |
Mendy would have caught that |
Any shot against Kepa is a goal |
donstan18:Mtcheew. Only making matters worse for Tammy. Probably eating the hype he's feeding her with |
User09:Edit: They're interchanging |
Looks like James is playing RCB and Azpi Wingback |
airmark:If u listened to his extensive interview post match especially the one at 5th stand, U could almost hear it - at least I did. Of course he wouldnt mention the players name expressly. He even avoided it when asked which player he was talking about by the interviewer and said he would be discussing with the player privately. P.s - Feel free to disagree with me as I am not in the mood to get into an unnecessary wrangle with u |
BlueRayDick:This was the same mistake that Lampard makes which used to irk a lot of us - Well at least me. Most goals conceded , u can already see it coming from series of bad plays and inactions. He tends to focus on the action that led to the goal while forgetting the sequence and systemic issues. He then goes on to bench the player(s) responsible. Football is a lot more dynamic than we think, One wrong move can lead to a catastrophe. The importance of coordination organization and transition and combination are taught on the training ground and largely seen on the pitch. The moment u hit a wrong note, u put the whole team on recovery mode Almost all pundits I listened to, the coach and even us fans have Zouma culpable in that goal (at least to a large degree). It is not a coincidence. We do know what we get with the guy and his lack of on the ball skills which stifles our transitioning between defense and attack. He had the opportunity to play the right pass twice, but did the wrong thing on both occasion Anyways on the bright side. I hope theyre all motivated to do a number on Leceister |
When we start to view football in terms of sequence, automatism, transition, triangular plays maybe we would also learn to look at some players critically. A lot of people tend to focus on actions than inactions - for obvious reasons. But how in the hell can u not know when to release and recycle valve in possession As much as Jorginho gets most of the blame - There's almost a reason for all his plays/passes, I would even say that was an automatic sequence from training at restarting the build from back (Maybe mostly with Mendy). His only mistake was not raising his head to see where Kepa was. Meanwhile Kepa was trying to make things easier for Zouma in terms of passing lanes/options. Sometimes I watch some players in terms of their decision making and I cannot understand what they are trying to achieve. U look at Zouma and just know he would never fit a ball control or system possession. Even his concentration is suspect at times This is one of the same reasons I disliked Cahill as a footballer. How can u be a good footballer if you are so uncomfortable on the ball, How then do u deal with pressure on the ball. Anyway I'm glad TT realized his mistake. Zouma should be our last option among the CB's |
User09:After rewatching the TT post match interview and reading some of his other comments. Looks like the main culprit of his blame is Zouma Make of that what u may |
TT says he sensed the rhythm and intensity of some players were missing in training yesterday and blames himself for still starting them. He Accepts full responsibility for the loss and blames himself for the plenty of changes |
At least they have the opportunity to takeout all the anger with Leceister |
CHO has been disappointing so far. Treating the ball like hot fire |
I dont understand the point of bringing Giroud on and then u stop with the crosses |
