He should score and assist, that’s the only thing his fans judge players with.
He’s a flop! A proven one.
Home and away!!! If u can't see the Irony in this, Then I dont know what to tell u |

Havertz10: Muller played nothing
But veteran tax
Sane, timo and havertz would have been very effective That front 3 was not cohesive. Muller was out of sync with everyone I'm surprised no one mentioned Volland, He was terrible |

Unlimited22: Vanity metrics.
Jorginho once led us to play 1000 passes and broke the pl record for most passes in a game at the time by himself in a game we almost drew at Newcastle had it not been for a dying minute winner that was an unfortunate own goal. Does this mean the Opposite of anonymous? |

Trevor012: Somehow this is Criticism of Giroud style of play
Journalist: "You exchange passes more with Benzema & Neymar than Giroud?"
Mbappé: "You're saying I don't wanna pass to Giroud? Ney touches 150 balls a game and Karim like 80. Giroud stays more in the zone to receive balls. Players of different profiles. Unnecessary controversy." This response says a lot . Almost like he was spoiling for a confrontation. Mbappe's reputation in France is that of a Primadonna, So not surprising |

Capaldi: Was he ever going to agree they where his signings seeing as they all flopped badly? If Morata, Bakayoko etc became key players and delivered for Chelsea, would he have come out and said he never wanted them. Conte's not one to mince words. The thing with Conte is, He persists with his players even when form, age or the club says otherwise. He still stuck with his demand for Moses, Dzeko, Sanchez, Bonucci, LLorente even after his time at Chelsea |

To be honest, Many of those players were not Conte's signings.
I remember listening to some Italian interview a while back; where he was brazenly brutal about the whole thing.
The open confrontation with the board prior to his sack and even the legal drama says otherwise. |

Emerson on the bench.
Goodluck to J5. He's the first name on the Teamsheet in that midfield. Ahead of Locatelli, Barella, and even Veratti |

I dont understand what the whole sentiment around James at RWB is about.
Is it the same guy we watched last season? Always so negative in the final 3rd.
I pretty much watch most of our matches with a headset and can tell u how TT screams his name a whole lot in disapproval in our games. There are times he sounds frustrated as Reecey (that's what he calls him) repeats the same thing when he gets to the final cm
I'm not even convinced with him as a RCB. He suffers from lapse in concentration and judgement occasionally. The problem however with this Hakimi dude; Well from a few videos I watched he's a bit suspect defensively. Also at that price, I would balk |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 12:45am On Jun 11, 2021*. Modified: 1:15am On Jun 11, 2021 |
Ibime: Hakimi is not my priority at that price. I heard Traore is available for like £40m. Signing Traore can keep the 3-4-3 or play wings in a 4-3-3 for more flexibility while Hakimi reduces the options.
When improving a team, you start with the weakest area first. That's Jorginho and a striker as far as I am concerned before putting £60m in a wingback. Between James, Azpi and Livramento, I am not too concerned about that position.
The last time we went shopping in order to keep a 3-4-3 formation going, we had our most disastrous transfer window ever. That was the year we signed Zappacosta and Emerson as wimgbacks to keep the 3-4-3 going. Both were useless in a conventional back 4 when Sarri tried to switch the formation the following year. We also added Morata, Donkeyoko and Drinkbleach that year. No he doesnt. He plays RW when needed And can also displace Chilwell on the left |

Ibime: James body type is more suited to a central position. He is too big to make recovery runs after running down the wing. He does not have speed endurance to get back cos his body is too big for that. He has very good technique in shielding and passing the ball and that is evidenced by his secondary position as a DM. RCB will suit him fine, however I don't think that's our first priority. My own is when Jorginho is being replaced and when are we buying a striker Lol... U should already know by now that TT is a fan |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 1:07am On Jun 10, 2021 |
Ibime: Abeg wetin make this Hakimi so expensive?
They better go and buy Traore for lesser amount if they know what's good for them.
As for me, I'm only waiting to hear news of a new DM and new striker and possibly a right winger. No other signing in any position will dramatically improve us. He's quite flexible. Can play RWB,RB,LWB or even on the wings |
