Roland17: I think he actually is. Watch his shots, they are mostly off screens and beyond the arc because he doesn’t want to stress that calf.
Carlisle is also not pushing the pace as they are playing more half court than we have ver seen since this playoffs started and that is because an uptempo will worsen the calf situation.
Finally, you will notice Carlisle plays another ball handler alongside Halli whenever he is on the court, that way he is not the only ball handler with the pressure of dribbling the ball to create or score. We have seen TJ drive more and play under the rim with Hali staying outside the arc.
He most definitely has that calf strain. Meanwhile, Siakam has been a DAWG! Man has made some clutch shots and helped the Pacers build this lead. Dont know what you're seeing. As for me, i'm seeing him remain on the floor even with a blowout. I'm seeing him moving side to side with ease. Did you see that clean and fast spin for the no look pass earlier to Siakam. No excuses for him sha in game 7 |

A40: This Haliburton do not look injured to me. If we're keeping it a buck he probably hid under the injury lamba as an alibi for his utterly abysmal Game 5
Impressed by the Pacers this Game. Up 22 at the half. Looks like we're headed for a Game 7 Now who does the bolded remind me of? It starts with a Le and ends with a Bron. Calf injury my *ss |

The guy went from being falsely overrated to being truly overrated, real quick.
I wonder what Jay Williams will tell Stephen A now. Calma Calma. He's playing hurt. He'll turn up the next game now and they'll be back comparing him to Prime CP3 & Westbrook. Person wey dey average 18 points

TemporaryHansel: Why are people being so hard on him though? In the end, it's his money. How he spends it is his problem. I don't know why folks are on his matter. For him to send that amount to a lady he hasn't seen her pant before, it's clear he has enough. They should leave him alone. He's not the first to do it, and he won't be the last. No its not. Except of course his name ends in Limited. I really dislike it when CEO's/MD use company account to pursue personal frivolities. Android17: As for the people mentioning me about Maresca. You are correct. He is the best manager ever & his contract should be extended for another decade.
What a miracle he performed this season using his multi-billion dollar squad and the best player in the EPL (Cold Palmer) to win a mighty 4th place trophy from 2nd as well as the very prestigious Conference League that West Ham also won recently.
Maresca has been nothing short of a revelation. He took the team that terrible Poch used to finish 6th, all the way to 4th having spent additional millions on the squad. Top-notch improvement if you ask me. This squad will definitely rival PSG next season.
Peace. Naa. Ure not getting off easy. The bolded is what I need you to admit, seeing as you were making a case for him Couldnt care less about the intern that is Maresca |

WhoDeyHause: They won't score us 5. With a good attack and Guehi or somebody gallant they too will suffer. Is it caicedo that would allow them to be doing pass 1 pass 2 in his presence? We are just a few signings away from also becoming very dangerous again. The bolded made me laugh. The midfield was superb. Vitinha and Neves do have a great cohesion, they play in the same NT - although coached by that Martinez. Also, can someone explain to me how Dembele's niggling hamstring issues just disappeared at PSG But honestly, that game was a disgrace. To be trashed in that manner by kids (Average age of starting lineup was 25 btw). I'm just glad the record for the worst loss in a UCL final no longer sit with Cryuff, cos that team actually was a solid team that had just won their title few days before the final and it told on them in the final. Unlike this poor inter team that's just terrible and deserved the 5 nil loss Really pleased PSG finally won it. Rooted for them all the way. BTW, I hear Marquinhos is leaving, wouldnt mind having him with us. Honestly, we could do a lot with that guy. |

Ibime: PV also follow which Potvalor provided, but the assumption behind my calc is not to touch the money for 30 years, and then you can compare both figures in 30 years to see which one big pass. Yeah I get. But day 1 usually matters a lot in these sort of decision making and PVing future cashflows makes more sense In most scenarios, the 1k per day is the better option. Infact, for those who prefer the 5million option - Godx, Afrodoc, raumdeuter, monerozzi & co cos of the lump sum on day 1, there's an easy solution All you have to do is approach any (solid) financial institution with the airtight contract (usually one with little or no credit risk) - say from a govt institution that clearly states the contractual obligation of $1k per day. The financial institution would happily offer you at least $6 - $6.5million on day 1. It's the same way the loan system works. Because ultimately, they would get more in 30 years |

Ibime: $1k per day easy
Assume bank interest rate of 4% which is the current rate in the money markets
Case of $5m: Compound 5m over 30 years at 4% interest is $16.22m
Case of $1k: Compound the first $365k over 29.5 years, the second $365k over 28.5 years and so on in an arithmetic progression and you land at $20.88m after the 30 years.
I use 29.5, 28.5, 27.5 etc to bring approximate linearity to the calculation as the interest on your $1k on 1st Jan is not the same as the interest accrued on 31st Dec, so use half years for the first year of investment
The only reason to accept the $5m upfront is if you can guarantee a return better than the bank by 0.9% (so 4.9% return) - and assuming you cannot also throw your $1k per day into the same 4.9% yield investment. Let's say there is an instrument with a minimum investment requirement of $5m Oga Ibime, you don scatter everything. Today was the question, not future value. Present valuing the 1k per day would be more appropriate My small finance knowledge tells me the 1k per day for the next 30 years was a simple annuity calculation. Although, using your rates (or average 30 years yield) assumptions will bring it to around $7m, - so same conclusion that the 1k per day is better just like your long AP calc.... |
