Strictly speaking from a legal standpoint. I'm yet to see anything substantial from the prosecutors. Maybe there's more coming - particularly for the trafficking aspect which is what's likely to give him the most time.

Don't be surprised if the timeframe between collation of insightable data and announcement of final results is few days to a week. After all election turnaround time is 24 hours within which all data sets by region etc are aggregated

Even at that you may have various levels of the food chain managing their communication levels eg IT manager not fronting up to Director until he has reviewed and trouble-shooted etc which causes delays along the whole chain. And even Oyedele himself may be too lazy to review the data for insights along the way in the process until the final data landed on his head like a sledgehammer.

Plus I think both Jamb and the Prof had an unconscious bias where they attributed any deviation in scores to Malpractice/special centres rather than doing a further deep dive into what could have been responsible.

I have witness auditors and fin.accountants always at loggerhead because of simple accounting process.
I have come to conclusion these auditors are old skool some of them uses excel and will rather pass journal for adjustments instead of simple reversal, some don't even know how ERP works
What are they teaching them in school then, I am not an accountant but I know for every credit there's a corresponding debit, that simple law open my eyes to account.
I think learning ERP should be introduced to them in school

The problem is not the auditors but the accountant.

Every recognition in the books is guided by IFRS/US GAAP or some other GAAP Standards. The duty of the accountant/controller/CFO is to align this with whatever their postings/ERP/System is.

The auditors job is just to confirm that what the system/ERP shows aligns with what it should be per standards. When this doesnt happen is when you start having talks of adjustments here and there.

The accountant's job is to be the intermediary between their system and a typical accounting system

I have been in this position few times, the last thing you want to do is admit error without having the solution to hand.

In all honesty, all of these should have been discovered before releasing the results.

Especially at the (IT/Data) quality review stage. I would expect a standardized exam like this to have a lot of thorough post-exam analysis which should have taken place prior to releasing the results.

At the very least, every one failing on a particular day from a particular region should have raised some skepticism internally.

Hopefully they review their exam processes after this cos this is really bad. The margin of error for an exam that decides people's fate should be as low as realistically possible and not this show of shame

Some of them built this career grift in 24 months all the way from Twitter into Chevening scholarships, IVLPs, Mandela Washington Fellowships, speaking appearances in Taiwan, Canadian passports, etc etc. But those were only the lucky few. The vast majority of this demographic got discarded like a used pure water bag immediately the oyibos got their desired regime change.

Since they got their regime change, Nigeria has fallen off a cliff from #1 to #4 in Africa, losing over 60% of GDP in just 10 years. I will repeat that for emphasis. While other countries in Africa grew at 2-5% annually over the past 10 years, Nigeria SHRANK by over 60%, and you can now find Nigerians desperately searching for a better life in Burkina Faso, Algeria, Mali, Libya, Tunisia, Liberia, and even Niger which used to hold the title of "poorest country in the world." Most of the loudmouths who helped make this a reality have fallen back into obscurity and poverty.

Many of them are in their 40s and 50s now, and they're still busy chasing gigs and hunting for $1000 here, $2,500 there. A few of them did become puppet unicorns, but the vast majority are back to being absolutely nobody 10 years after they allowed foreign attention and dollars to override their natural caution and stampede them into the 2nd worst ever national mistake in Nigeria's history after the completely unnecessary civil war.

Many of them walk around in a constant state of confusion now, unable to understand why their lives are much worse nowadays, and the oyibos who seemingly cared so much about whatever they had to say between 2011 and 2015 are no longer answering the phone or replying messages. If you allow these same oyibos to inflate your egos and use it to push your mouths into parroting their narrative for their own geopolitical goals, the exact same thing will happen to you.

Before you allow the thirst for white people's validation and money to shape your responses to the questions they are currently deluding you with, just ask yourself this one question:

About Jamb, Maybe there needs to be a lot more transparency around their marking processes/guide.

All the negative marking and deductions bla bla bla doesnt even make sense to me for a secondary school exam.

I remember some years back, I wrote an exam and then thinking I was really going to blast it, only to see my results fall in the upper quartile

It was then I took it upon myself to research out of curiosity - which was when I found out, they actually used the modified angoff method for marking/setting cutoff.

This was actually useful information which I should have known before writing it and was a failure on my part, - Considering how I would have known how and where to focus/prioritize my efforts.

Has there even been any Jamb examiners in recent time that can help with this transparency. Knowledge of the material is really not enough sometimes to really really ace these things. Remember that fine margins are really important here especially for people wanting to study the very in-demand courses

Hertfordshire Uni is one of the worst in UK, you can get there with 2 Es at A Level, a lot of my street niggas went there after flopping at A Levels. Aston Uni is also poor but at Masters Level, it's more about what you're willing to pay than the strength of the Uni so Masters are generally accepted regardless of Uni.

He can hardly get into PWC in UK from those unis and note he doesn't list his grade in those degrees, nor the A Level grades that would have got him there. If someone makes a 1st or 2.1, they usually declare their grade

In addition he has a BSc and MSc in Accounting but no Chartership, he is a baby accountant with barely entry level knowledge. The work history are Nepo achievements. He barely did 10 months at PWC which is not good for your grounding, typically one would expect a minimum of 2 years at PWC to get a full grounding. This CV is just a Nepo CV. he just took the next opportunity that his pops connections could get for him at any time before he was ripe

Every time you read the overview, it reads thus: ICT (Telecommunications). Heck! Flutterwave, for example, isn't even a telecommunications company, but it straddles ICT as a subset and the Financial Sector.

You know what, is Flutterwave or OPay an ICT or Financial Services company? It's a simple A or B. But if it is both, you've answered your own quizzing.

I'm struggling here not to make you or your argument sound silly. But believe me, they are as nonsensical as they come.

Do you even understand what GDP is ? and what it is calculating?. Do you even know what approach is being used to compute it and how different it is for each sectors?.

Do you even know that for financial services - there's a standardized metric called FISIM, that's used which has no basis or origin in ICT activity.

How the hell does economic activity within a small space like flutterwave and the likes account for a whole financial service and insurance sector. huh?

You started out by saying ICT contributes the most, when pointed to your error, you are now saying, I should merge it with financial services - Because of some fintechs that doesnt even do 5% of what the big banks are doing in terms of economic activity so all should be classified as ICT.

Guess what, even if both are merged, the 2 combined are still not contributing as much as Agriculture.

Agriculture fluctuates just like others.

Telecommunications combines with the financial sector.
For example, OPAY, Moniepoint, Flutterwave e.t.c staddle both sectors, and the GDPs are combined to be for total ICT.

I don't know if you just read the overviews for each quarter or you're googling on the go for this argument, but every NBS quarterly report has about 34 pages detailing the calculations and explanations for the intersection or overlapping of sectors.

You'd get it when you download the actual attached files which are PDFs and Google Spreadsheets.

ICT has been our strong point for years now. ICT being a condensation of subsectors. And the Service supersector (if I'd call it that) has been driving our economy for years. Sometimes even up to 70%. Every NBS report state this much. Do way more than quick searches in the heat of the moment.

I'm not googling on the go to debate this. My post history already shows I regularly and judiciously study these reports, not in t heat of argues looking to one-up or have a gotcha moment.

Another error in your post - Nowhere is financial services sector combined with ICT for the sake of GDP computation, The two are quite distinct with varying levels of dependencies in terms of economic output.
