Hello guys, to start with mean no harm putting up this thread, and i have so much respect for the christian faith. The saying Jesus is lord has baffled me over the years to d extent that I've asked my Christian friends to explain to me what it means but most off them would just tell me something like since u are not a christian u won't understand. what i know is that when u say in this context you mean God, but later they are gonna say Jesus is the son Of God, now the question is, is Jesus God himself or the Son of God because from mine own understanding a God does not beget and is not begotten.


so my enlightened Christians in the house please help shed more light on this.

hello nairalanders, i'm a final yr student of agricultural engineering, i'm a very purpose driven person and I never settle for less, I always want to be at the top of my game anywhere i find myself.

i'm creating this thread just to ask for opinions on hw to become a better agicultural engineer, i hope i'd find people who are ahead of me in in dis field and who could guide me on things i should do after graduation.

The topic before me today has been a trending topic on different social medias, which I find interesting.
The question is "can you do without using your phone for 24 hours" let alone a week.

My phone has been my best friend through thick and thins.* When I feel sad- the musics on my phone helps me through.
*When I feel bored- my phone brings me to nairaland(where I made the front page thrice)
*When I wanna talk to my family and friends- my phone does it.
*Have got no money for a digital camera, but with the aid of my phone, "I fit snap heaven"
*when I feel like hunting online!!! . My phone is my weapon.. So what more can I say.
How can I do without my wonderful phone. The day I decided to do away with my phone for a day, I really felt that something was not complete through out that day. It wasn't easy...
So to my fellow nairalanders that are also phone freaks like me, let's rub minds and share your wonderful moments with your phone and why you can't do without it for a day...

let me start by saying i'm confused here and i need ur sincere and honest position as to what to do. I met dis girl in skul, during my first year precisely and we never talked initially but as time went by we began to make contact with each other and we began developing interest for each other and there was this strong chemistry between us but none of us came out of our shell to say what we were feeling for each other, eventually we began to date in our sophomore and it turned out to be d best relationship i've ever had cos dis lady was so honest, loving, trustworthy she's just down to earth. I'd say she is everyting i ever wanted in a woman, she a beauty to behold she always there for me, i'd say she's one of a kind. The relationship continued untill we graduated and every one had go home, im kaduna based and she is Abuja based and it ended abruptly but were still in love.

the problem now is dat she got married to smone else and she's facing a lot a challenges in her marriage to extent that she's contemplating a divorce and nw i'm tinking of marrying her but the bone of contention here is that she's a christian and i'm a muslim, she idoma i am yoruba, she's older by 2 yrs and my parents are very particular about me not marrying a non muslim and non yoruba, to cut d story short the odds r against me, i still love dis lady so much and i'm very sure she loves me too.

what should i do? no insults pls.

doesn't it sound ridiculous to call Jesus d son of God or to even call him d lord and saviour, if at all we should call any one God then it should have been Adam cos he was created from mud but Jesus had a mother which is more difficult for God? Adam or Jesus. u pple need to think deep about dis. if Christianity means believing in d teachings and miracles of Jesus then I'd say most Muslims r more Christians than d Christians themselves. sometime in school i ask a christian frnd of mine to explain why Christians call Jesus God, u know she couldn't she got confused and later told me i wont understand cos I'm not a christian, what's there to understand pls! na calculus!

for me I'd say I used to partake in the malpractice business until I realized I was contributing to d destruction and deploration of education in my country and I've since vowed not to contribute to it any longer. now I'm looking for a way to combat this menace as it is gradually eating deep into the education sector, I fear for the next generation of student and d ones yet unborn. pls let's find a way to stop this.

for me I think Gus is the real deal, there is a lot to learn and the is no immorality what so ever involved. talking abt bba, its just a house containing a bunch of jobless pple involved in all sorts of immoral acts, they just sit, eat, sleep, play games, and have sex with one another for 92 days and get paid handsomely for all that rubbish, I hope it gets scraped someday.
