This girl is my old friend, (friends from secondary school). I have always had a crush on her, but have always lacked the courage to ask her out, though we are tight friends. I
It has been 5 years that we saw each other last, God willing last year December being our alumni get together, she got my phone number from my other friends. Then she messaged me on WhatsApp, since then we have been in touch together, I do talk with her either on chat messenger or phone call atleast three times in a week, if I don't message/call her she will.


I wanted to ask her out so I started by asking her, her
relationship status, lo and behold she didn't reply( after she has read the message I.e It has been marked blue), I then called her again that same night(to let her know am expecting an answer but I never spoke about the question on call with her).The following day when I haven't seen her reply I apologised for intruding on her privacy, (though she never replied). For the past two weeks that this happened , she has been trying to make our conversation very short( answering my WhatsApp message with letters instead of words, short calls instead of a lengthy one) . It has been a week we talked last, we haven't call nor message each other.

What is the forward?
N.b We school at different states but it is thirty minutes drive from each other.

OK.. . I think I got a few things to add here that's really gonna speed sh*t up
1 the op and others should start teaching with videos or something it works better that way and helps learning. Videos of themselves in action would be the best. Videos that shows all sides because no one can boast of 100% success rate in approaching girls or a smooth ride either. Such videos would let others know how to act and react.

2 still on the videos but from a different angle. Telling someone things like "come in confident" "be direct" " be observant" "show her who you are" doesn't just cut it.Because how does one even freaking do it. I hope you see my point. Like it doesn't show the HOW factor. Like referring to the guy that asked about some online stuff: what do you say when she says "this one you remembered me.. .." . Before I jump on this let me just say that she's into you on some sort of level for her to ask you this.
Now there's a thousand ways to reply but most of these replies depends on the connection you're at with her.
You could say "I caught you spying on my fb page"
My baby cousin just said something you always say

Etc. Notice how the replies are different. The first one is a bit more fun and witty. The 2nd one is a bit more touchy or romantic if you'd Wanna call it.
There's more you can come up with. Focus more on the connection level you are and the kinda feeling or emotions you wanna create in that moment. Always remember "it's not about the lines but the mentality behind them"
