Good morning house. Please I have a question concerning applying for Diploma courses in a college in Canada. Diploma courses are just one year programs, and the basi requirement is a WAEC result and original WAEC certificate. For someone who already has a Bsc, do you think it makes sense to add my BSc information in the statement of purpose? Will it be much easier to just present one's application as someone who just has a WAEC certificate, and not complicate it by adding information about higher degrees that have been obtained? Won't the VO start asking why the person is downgrading to a Diploma after getting a Bachelor's? Also, due to the fact that the Diploma is in a different field from my BSc, will it be better to just leave out the fact that I even have any BSc degree totally? Will the VO wonder why a person who is in their late 20s for instance doesn't have any BSc degree yet (assuming I leave out that information). In summary, I'm just looking for a way to arrange my application to increase the chances of an approval because the 1 year Diploma I applied for is so different from my first degree course and I'm quite worried because I heard that the highest reason for refusals is the fact that one is going to study something else entirely different from their initial course. I will really appreciate tips from everyone, and if you have a personal experience of this situation, it would even be much better. If you'd prefer to contact me privately, kindly email me via teacherfrancisca2021@gmail.com and I'll take it from there. Thank you so much in advance! 😢 |

Hi fam, please what is fastest duration for getting a police clearance certificate? Can it be gotten in a space of one day for example, I just came across an application I need to make but sadly the deadline is in about 5 days. Please does anyone know how to go about applying for one? If you have a contact there kindly let me know as well. I appreciate it! Thank you so much in anticipation. |

Hi fam, it's great to meet everyone! I must say I'm very happy to have discovered this thread in the midst of my overthinking and insomnia this midnight lmao 😂 I have a question about Newfoundland and Labrador PNP please. In their points calculator they listed different categories. Like University degree with at least 3 years of study is in a different category with 23 points. Then degree or diploma that took at least 1 year of study is at 15 points. The problem is, I have 2 out of all those listed categories - a 4 year B.SC and a 1 year postgraduate diploma degree. I'm confused on how it should be calculated. should I only choose one of the categories (ie my BSc only) or should I add the points from both my 4 year degree and the 1 year diploma please, since they are presented as different categories? Thank you so much in anticipation 🥹🥲

Good afternoon fam. Please has anybody ever heard of anybody who was sponsored by their cousin and the visa was granted? I have an older cousin (maternal) who I've been very close with over the years and who is willing to sponsor me. But she's not sure if people outside of siblings and parents can sponsor 🥹😅 |

tenderjunkie: For the tax- I had to ask this because I saw in a video that freelancers should provide a tax certificate or evidence of tax payment for their earnings when they are submitting their application. ** No the money isn't in my dom account. It's in cash. Because for the past couple of years, everytime I withdraw my earnings I always convert a little bit of what I need each time and leave the rest in cash (USD). I don't like converting everything because of fluctuating naira rates. So I plan to put everything together once, convert it and pay it as a bulk sum into my naira account. Or would it be better to pay it in parts? NB= I'm also including my payslips and employment letters to explain where the money came from. |

Hello fam, Francisca here. I have a question about visa application, especially for freelancers. So, I'm a freelancer. That means I work remotely and earn in USD. I plan to self sponsor (even though I have about 1m gift from my cousin that I want to create a deed of gift for). I've been saving some money in cash over a couple of years which I plan to convert and pay in as a bulk sum into my naira account. Is it advisable to pay it in once or break it into smaller amounts? Also, do you think that I should find a way to pay tax on those monies? I've been checking online to see if freelancers should pay income tax on their earnings in Nigeria before applying for visa, and if their application can be rejected because they didn't pay tax, but I haven't seen any information on that yet. I would really appreciate a freelancer's perspective on this. If for some reason you can't respond here, please send me an email on teacherfrancisca2021@gmail.com and I'll take it from there. Thank you! 🥰🥰 |

Jnsionu4: Hi Jnsionu4, please what's the best way to reach you? Would you be kind enough to reach me via email- teacherfrancisca2021@gmail.com 🥹 I'm starting my application process of applying to CNA by next week and I have so many questions. One major one is about the transcripts. Did you order official transcripts from your school to be sent directly from the school to them via courier/email, or did you send your student copies of transcripts with the rest of your application via email? If you would be kind enough to send a hi, I'll follow up. I look forward to hearing from you. |

Good evening everyone, I've been trying to convert my grade to check if it's equivalent to the Norwegian minimum of C, but I've been seeing contradicting information everywhere on the internet which is making me more confused. . Please what is a 2.6 Nigerian gpa equivalent to in Norway standards? Is it up to the "C" which is the minimum requirement? I need to verify that I'm actually qualified before I start my process to any of the schools. Thank you in advance. |

Good morning everyone. Please does anyone know how I can get my student ID card? I'm a new post graduate student.I think it's part of the school fees breakdown but someone is saying that I have to pay for it separately again. How does one actually get it? I understand that it's needed for the exam clearance. I'd appreciate ideas/help. Thank you! |

Bibitayo2: Hi Bibitayo, it's great to meet you here. Please I need all the help I can get with the registration process. Like I'm at level 0 at the moment. What xomes first before what? What documents do I need? When do I go to the study center? I need to start from the first thing, which is paying for the registration and then generating a receipt. How do I proceed from there, then pay school fees? Then get admission letter and verify my certificates? Please send me a mail on uchennaanochilionye@gmail.com. I'd love to get your contact details if you don't mind so I can finish up my registration before the deadline. Thank you so kindly in advance. |

Hello people, I'd like to enroll for the PGDE course in NOUN. I checked the website and they said application is open all year round, but that information is not very clear to me. If it's possible I'd like to join the new semester that is about to start(is that possible seeing that their matriculation is today?) Is it still possible to make a fresh application and start with them? Also, I'd really appreciate as much information as I can get. Is there a whatsapp group for PGDE students for this session? I'd appreciate it if I could get information from anyone who's already a member there. How long does the program last? How fast can I finish? I know there are 3 semesters, but can I finish all, including teaching practice in one year? Also, does anyone have viable information about the TRCN certificate? How long does it take after the exam for the results to be published? If you'd like to reach me personally for information, kindly add shoot me a mail - uchennaanochilionye@gmail.com and we'll take the conversation further. It would mean so much to me. Thank you and have a great day! |

VTJN: Yes. In my experience, University of Agder, Kristiansand and Nord University, Bodo don't need Nigerians to determine their English proficiency. They have a list of their requirements that can be downloaded from their website showing all the countries and what is required of them... 1 Like |

Dumebi213: Hello Dumebi, I have a question please-I already saw what you wrote about difficulty in gaining admission to study a B.Sc course in Norway but I want to ask this anyway. So I already have a B.Sc(Sciences) and a PgD in Communications(which I got because I wanted to move over to the social sciences/humanities/arts) and I eventually did-I also got a certification in teaching English online, wanted to do a post graduate English Edu course but the strikes in Naija universities and everything else hasn't been encouraging at all, so now I want to get a BA in English somewhere abroad and then build my English/English Edu career from there. The challenge now is in the mode application. The schools I want to apply to all require 1 year university education as a criteria, and since I have a B.Sc(I don't like my grades there especially in my 100 level) and an P.gD(I love my PgD grades and my transcript would surely look very good), I'm wondering if it's possible to present my PgD grades as evidence of one year of uni education. Does anybody have an experience with this? Or must it be one year of B.Sc studies? I look forward to hearing from everyone in the house,I'd really appreciate your contributions-thank you! P.S: I'm just asking this as an initial question to see people's experiences, I still intend to contact the schools via email and ask them to know what's possible with each school in terms of which certificate to use and what isn't. Thank you! |

When I dont feel like reading again, I just turn it to the back look at my salary and I always received fresh annointing .
