BETIKS:
First and foremost I think we should be more civil here. Let's stop the name calling and act like matured people and not kids. I can confirm few things to anyone that cares to listing.

1) http://www.cdfipb.careers/ is absolutely legit and that is the website that will be used for the next stage.

2) This recruitment process is set to take a new dimension, it will not take the form of previous recruitments, but this is not saying the process will be free of corruption but there will be some form of minimisation as long as you make it to this current stage.

3) The site is poorly built site and there are currently developments issues which includes uploading of information as well as managing expected traffic.

I know some of this information by the virtue of having a close family who works at their headquarters in Abuja which is not even a guarantee for me to automatically get the job. I also have checked and just like majority got the error message. I ADVISE US ALL TO STAY CALM.

please how can I retrieve my reference number

I doubt it will hurt his chances, but he needs to move fast because PTDF categorically stated that they will want to see transcripts at the interview, so he should have started processing the moment he applied for the scholarship

Transcript would not matter on interview stage.

transcript would only be compulsory if you are awarded the scholarship. you can attend the interview without transcript. that is how it's done last year.
your your Waec /NECO &Class of degree , publication etc are what matters now

I don’t know you bro but God bless you for putting this out there because i was beginning to get enraged that some daft people here think people from Arewa are not smart enough for top jobs like NNPC’s.....This is aptly put....I’m not sorry to say that some of you from the South are so intolerant of other people’s tribes and religion you think you are superior to others....i have one advice for you if you are in this category....
TRAVEL!!!!

yes, I notice that too. most of the people that have that kind of thinking don't travel. they are just domicile within there state or region.

another advice
TRAVEL.

as a northener, I have that kind of generalization mentality before. but after my service year in South South, I come to realize that Calabar and akwa ibom people are among the best , most peaceful and accommodating people in this country. jovial and lovely people.
that is why I believe those with myopic and ego-freek mentality about the north never been there or has other sinister motives.they think Nigeria revolve around their wailing and prostration.

dmainman mrphysics almisbahu abokii8 utilityrational

Please, what are the guidelines for changing your course or school after getting the scholarship? Can you change to a course not listed by ptdf under a school on the ptdf list? can you change to a course listed by ptdf but to a non ptdf approved school? or do you have to change to a listed course at a ptdf approved school.

Also about the monthly stipend for UK students in non london schools, i know it used to be 1550 pounds monthly, is it still the same? And how much more do students going to london schools receive?

Mrphysics have answered the question the only addition is that even in France, they accept alot of school and courses that are not listed in their portal. The important thing is get the scholarship and then talk to Mr Isa when you want to change course or school, then all thing would fall in place. infact, even in Germany, you can switch courses and schools if the schools are approved by DAAd

I just want everyone here to see this, it's about the alleged underground recruitment and purported sack of some contract staff that happened @ Petroleum Products Price Regulatory Agency PPPRA. this is so not true.
its just usual northern_phobia as alleged.

the guy said they gave the slots to MDA and members of house of assembly, so is it only northerners that are in the house of assembly and other MDA

if they would share the slots, am 100% sure they would share it to both members from north and South. so my friend forget all this gra gra, probably your member has candidates there also. when it comes to sharing of slots, those politician and elites don't discriminate. its we the masses that would be shouting north and south or Muslim and xtian. but go to abuja and see both of them sharing and selling slots to their relatives.

Thank you very very very much. I swear your response gave me joy and made my day. I really appreciate it. But one more thing (sorry, am such an Oliver twist wanting more) sir, regarding that PTDF scholarship, is there anything that aide your selection or just luck? I need to know sir cus I will be applying next year.

it all depend on hard work and God grace. I got the scholarship in my second attempt. I tried in 2018 and 2019 respectively and both attended the interview. but I was successful in 2019. am 2.1 ( 4.44) and ACA.

I don't even know how to thank you for this. The issue has been on my mind since. Thank you so much sir. Am so glad I met an economics grad like me on this forum. Now two more things sir. Firstly, am confused on what to choose for my masters. Can you help me out ? Am more interested in mathematical economics or statistical courses for economists and I think I like petroleum economics and management too as I've read about it on the internet and also looking at it's relevancy to a petroleum dependent country like ours. Secondly and lastly, will like you to be my mentor? please!!!

firstly, that depends on the career path that you want to pursue. is it in oil and gas industry, consulting, procurement etc. as of my case ,I was given petroleum economics and management by PTDF. but one nice thing about ptdf is that once you get the scholarship, you can switch courses without any problems but within the same country. even my self here am not sure i would go for petroleum economics and management, that is why I am also applying for Msc econometrics and statistics at Toulouse school of economics,MSc applied policy in economics at Paris school of economics and MSC management of production and supply chain at Mr physics school. what am saying in essence is that it depend on your career path.
secondly, we all have something to learn from each other.

hello sir. I've been following your posts and topics back to back and I'm really moved by the way you write and describe stuff. I also love your journey and struggle. please I think I need your advice. Am a fresh graduate awaiting NYSC and am thinking of serving in either Kano or Lagos. Which one do you think is better? I schooled in sokoto. Also, you said you're a PTDF scholarship awardee schooling in France, if I may ask, is this scholarship open to economics graduate like me or only for science graduates as I've read online on some scholarship blogs. Thanks

let me answer the ptdf part.
am economics student and a france ptdf awadee 2019/2019(Mr physics set.) . though its this year that I would be going due to some reasons. I was awarded the scholarship to study petroleum economics and management at IFP. so to your answer, Yes economics students can apply . in fact there is provision in the ptdf portal to select whether you're management, engineering or environmental student. there are a lot of management and social science courses you can choose in France, Malaysia, China and UK.
