mayor05: what difference does this make? considering I submitted a reference letter from the bank stating that I'm a signatory to the account.
let's not forget I was refused on personal asset and financial status basis too. although I submitted a letter of administration from FCT high court stating that I'm the administrator of my dad's assets. I'm not the only child,i have an elder sister who is married with kids just transfer d cash to your account. |

mayor05: I have been following this thread from the concluding part of part10. I applied for study permit in may(17) with an admission letter from seneca college to study applied electronics design(1yr program). My undergraduate degree is Elect/elect Eng(second class lower division).Made full payment of tuition to seneca and submitted a proof from the school with my visa app docx. submitted a bank statement of 10m(my late dad's account, which I'm a signatory to) On the 14th of September I was refused without a call for medicals. On getting my passport yesterday, I was refused on 'insufficient funds' basis and personal asset. did I forget to say I made a payment of CAD11k with my tuition hoping that I can get a refund when I get to canada to use sort my accommodation cos I anticipated nigeria's present economic woes. So to be refused on such basis was unthinkable. well I'm starting my refund processing immediately. just felt I should share my case. you guys are doing a great job on here, well done. Personally ,i think it is more logical that you transfer the 10m into ur own acct..being a signatory to an account does not mean that the fund is automatically or entirely yours.sometimes we shld not also blame d vo for our own mistakes. |

My clear sincere profile of funds on this. I paid 7789cad 1st semester tuition fee, My blood mother was my sponsor and still active in service,Inshot a Bank officer at zenith bank and i am the only dependant in her sponsorship. Statement of acct for the period of 6months,no money lodgement, was 13mill inflow,6.1mill closing balance, her land docs, her stocks and its certificates. total remaining school fees + accommodation and others were = 29200cad.employment docs of hers, her payslip, her work Id,intro letter, sponsorship letter, affidavit of support were in place. This is a total heart break for me. I have already applied for my GCMS NOTE and about to terminate my PGC admission with my school. To me it's clear CIC GAMBLES with pgd(c) TRV applications.my hardworks went in vain. Please house I need ur advice on this matter, this is the second time am getting such mail from CIC...exactly 24th of June I got the first mail...I submitted my application on 25th of may 2016 and did my biometric 27th of May 2016 at VFS office in Abuja...am yet to receive a medical call mail...I applied for PGC at Conestoga college for fall (September 2016) there resumption date is 5th of Sept...
My questions are:
1. Should write CIC Accra as regards why I have not been sent medical mail?
2. Should I just proceed with the medical examination at any of their approve office and send it to CIC Accra?
3. Should I go to VFS office and complain
4. Should I still wait until I get response from CIC.
Is anyone going through this same issue.
Please house am in dead need of advice. This is a normal message if u ticked the box to receive monthly updates ...Your application is still withing the processing time ...i submited on the 9th of May and biometrics the next day...i have gotten this message twice and no medical call too...so dont sweat over it .. just be patient ,prayerful and hopeful. |

Deda3103: Got my medical passed update and passport request this morning. Dropped my passport at vfs this afternoon. Below is my timeline.
Applied Online: 25th April Biometrics: 26th April Medical mail: 15th July Medical done: 19th July Medical Passed and Passport Request: 22nd July
IMM Forms (Study permit, family information, temporary residence, Study permit questionnaire) Employment letter SOP NYSC certificate Birth certificate and baptismal card (to show a change in my middle name) WASSCE CV Transcripts Proficiency in English language Proof of first degree. Tax clearance and work ID. Conditional admission letter and mails from the school stating I have satisfied the conditions, but they don't send updated admission letters. (They needed my official transcripts and original BSc certificate)
Sponsors (Parents) Mother : International passport data page UK visa Bank statements of 2m balance Cooperative letter of introduction Letter of introduction from employer. Letter of sponsorship Payslip Employment letter (in her maiden name), change of name acknowledgment from employer and marriage certificate. Vice principal appointment letter. Letter of recommendation from employer. Promotion letter Affidavit of sponsorship.
Father: Letter of sponsorship Affidavit of sponsorship Fixed deposit certificate of 3.5m Letter of introduction from employer Bank statement of 1.4m balance Land receipt Land survey plans Land use charge Utility bills Pension statement Promotion letter International passport data page Valid US visa, SA and UK visa.
I made a mistake on my family information form (inputted my siblings names under children) which I noticed, sent a case enquiry and the response was to send a mail to Accra immigration. Also, I sent two case enquiries when my application was over 10 weeks. Got a response today...lol
My mum's inflow came in from her cooperative society, hence the letter to prevent sudden inflow suspicion. I was denied UK visa in November and I stated it clearly on the IMM 1294.
I applied in the comfort of my bedroom. Got a lot of information from nairaland before applying.
To fellow TRV hopefuls, don't despair; We didn't come this far to only come this far.
The wait was terrible, once I begin to lose hope, I say to myself I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth to clear any negative thoughts.
It shall all end in praise. Congrats. |

yemdogg: First and foremost, law cut across other fields; medicine, human resources, aviation, maritime, taxation you name it.
Flowing from the above as a human resources professional or a corporate lawyer, you are supposed to be familiar with wide array of regulatory and statutory authorities and ensure compliance with employment laws, employee compensation laws, government contracts and wage laws.
Therefore as lawyer your duty in any organisation is very paramount particularly in the HR department.
Furthermore, your training in company law, corporate law practice, commercial law, labour law/industrial law has given you necessary foundations to thrive well during your program in HR and subsequently in your career in corporate law practice and HR.
He can also add that he did his internship or worked in a corporate law firm that provide consultancy services to several companies and firm in the HR sector.
As corporate lawyers one of your duty in any organisation or company is formulate best practices policies to create a good working environment for employees and to also ensure maximum productivity thereby benefiting the employers.
Common matters of concern for HR and law includes; non competition agreement, substance abuse and drug testing / anti doping test laws, sexual harassment in work place laws etc.
He/she should be able to relate law to HR..... Actually the relationship between law and HR is inexhaustible.
Law is wide and can be related to almost anything.....if you do your homework well
Also he should state that his pursuit of HR is not to change his/her career path as a legal practitioner but rather it is to supplement and widen his/her scope of practice as a corporate lawyer.
Finally his major function as a corporate lawyer is to ensure compliance with variety of local, state and federal laws and to ensure at all time that an organisation or company escapes or avoids liabilities arising from HR while protecting the interest of employees at the same time.
And yes I know of lady who has gotten trv with HR and her undergrad discipline was law. Bla bla you ehhhh..So U had all this in you and u asked me to review ur sop...All this facts u put up here surpasses even my sop u wr giving me hope on .These are superb points ....Trust me ..no VO can even tik to put a purpose of visit whatever on this one .Good job ...proud of my colleague . |

michV: Please how is law and human resource management related and has any1 who studied law gotten visa before for choosing HRM. im not in this field, just asking because i want to advice some1 who wants to select law related program for postgraduate well I applied for HR management and read Law ...there are lots of articles written on law after HR and vis,it's been beneficial to those who did law after HR .HR is all about knowing laws that govern employers and employee (rights,liability,employment....etc) So yes d person could go for employment law, which is greatly associated with Human resources...HR is all about IQ ,knowing how to deal with people and d law behind working in d HR department..So yes and yes ...A law program can go a long way to help a HR graduate in top list . |

kanayogod: That's not entirely true, I know of a fellow that used a doctored First Bank for Australian study permit, the Australian embassy in SA wrote back, that checks showed the account name and number existed but transactions had been altered. So embassy can request more than just name and number. I wil upload the letter from SA soon leave all of the people on here that tik their own opinion is true ..if they like let their sponsor remove all the cash in his/her account and their VO unfortunately goes for verification ..then e go clear for their eye ...My point still remains ..its Berra to be safe than sorry ..if u can at least plead with ur sponsor ..let there be reasonable cash kept during d visa process ...irrespective of what and what not the embassy verifies . I used to tik like this until I applied for my Swedish visa and the embassy called my bank and wrote me that my account balance was altered and I needed to pay for my hotel and ticket to and fro for my daughter and I ..after this ,that's when I got the visa ...so I am very sure that they can verify whatever ...case closed . |

mannimakerjnr: Aww..pls, nobody is answering my question oo
Please, can I completely change the sponsor of a refused Student Visa to a new sponsor in a new Student application without adding any document of the previous sponsor?
Can I do that without raising questions? You can change your sponsor at anytime ,just try as much as possible to show ties between you and your current sponsor and u could also go further to pay part of ur fees and ur sponsor could make a commitment by putting a reasonable sum of money in your Acct and this should be explicitly stated on his Sponsorship letter and if possible and affidavit will be good too Dint forget that your sponsor has to state why he wants to sponsor you and d benefits he might get if possible ..it's only going to make ur app much more attracting bro d VO. |
