Check the front disc plates. Either it's washed or cracked. Had similar Experience vibration of steering on my Lexus , I replaced the brake discs and problems were solved.

Next time get few doses of malaria medication when ever you are leaving Nigeria. Most countries with malaria free status don't have malaria medication or treatment. They do not want to record any malaria incident which will activate a national emergency in their country.
