Romance / Re: Have You Dated A Big Girl Before? Here Is My Experience With Them by Uwaiwe: 11:14am On May 11, 2020
Such ladies are everywhere apart from Nigeria. Any decent guy living abroad will always come across such babes regularly. It's a normal way of live for lovers to compliments each other. It's only in Naija that most ladies see men as ATM.
As man or woman you dont need to just collect without giving. Couple should always abide in the habit of giving and sharing. None should be a parasite.

The phone is crap
Display crap
Speed crap
Camera crap
Design crap

I still prefer A30s to it by far.
The phone is crap. I have one abandoned it in my shelf due to low speed and crap front camera. The camera is thrash. Even samsung Galaxy J5 pro cameras are superior to it. Waste of money

If you are a selfie fan don't go for this phone. Front camera isn't worth 1 dollar phone. How I wish I can return mine to collect 50% of my payment back.

Romance / Re: How My Ex Left Me After She Discovered My Salary Was 45k, I Now Earn This by Uwaiwe: 10:53am On May 09, 2020

Sorry I don’t live in Nigeria, so I have no real clue of the regular salary structure. I have a friend that studied with me and returned back to Nigeria to work. As a specialist doctor he earns 750K monthly. So when I read of someone feeling really proud because of 360K it called my attention. Where I live, that amount of money will not even handle my monthly house rent most of all now that Naira has been devalued.
At Lekki where I stay when I visit Nigeria a 3 bedroom duplex goes for as much as 3.5M per annum.
More than 82 million Nigerians live on less than $1 a day, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Forty percent of people in Nigeria live inpoverty, figures published by the statistics office. Where I work, feeding allowance presently for two weeks is more than N360k equivalent. But how many employees in Nigeria are earning 360k and above? What's the percentage? Even my closest relative working in Nigeria earns more than N1.5M monthly. It doesn't mean alot of Nigerians earn same. He is just part of a negligible percentage. N360k is a decent salary in Nigeria today

relax the word "testimony" is not only attributable to church, stop reasoning like a primary school dropout, when you stand in the midst of people (known & unknown) and start sharing how ur life transited from poverty to riches without any OAP/presenter asking you .. it is called testimony.
You were making a contribution to the topic until you added "she wants to come back" ... shuld we be motivated that u made it or hapi that ur ex now want you back ... am sure readers are stuck in between.
Little boy you can hide behind keypad and continue to deceive yourself with your illiteracy. Cretin your are over religious when you start citing god in trivial issues. Stop betraying your low self esteem.

Bro its quiet annoying when guys share stories like.... just thank God 4 ur life, the " she wants to come back" is not necessary, you undermine ur testimony be that.
You got it wrong. Over sabi Naija religious man. We are not doing religious testimony here but contributions to a topic.

Congrats from 45K to 360K, that is a significant increment. I don’t know where in Nigeria you live oh, but 360K still doesn’t sound impressive in my ears. Maybe the issue is that I don’t have a real notion of average salary back home. Of course I know our minimum wage is really low.
Wherever you live in Nigeria what's the percentage of employees with monthly salary above 360K? 360k is impressive anywhere Nigeria. We are not talking of middle East ,Europe or other developed nations.

I said it the other day, it is a classic tale online.

“My gf left me, now I have a well paying job, a car and a nice apartment, she wants to come back. Advise me”

I think girls should breakup with them more, they all get rich after breakups.

grin grin
In reality, Most Naija ladies aren't helping matters. My girlfriend abandoned me some years ago because she wasn't ready to marry a man without a car. Fast forward to 2020....she is begging to come back because there are lots of cars now with no one to drive.

He is a field specialist with a multinational O&G company. 2.5 million Naira is less than $7000. That's the average salary of Technicians in middle East countries.

Feel free to air your views accordingly
I know of a guy working with HND cert and earns 2.5M monthly. Without his certificate it would have been impossible to qualify for such a job. If you have a certificate, can effectively defend your profession as a seasoned graduate, You will always achieve great goals with your certificate.
Most education is a scam people were guys that can't defend their certificates. They passed through the institution but institution never passed through them. The who pass na him know book people.

@ at Uranium, lol. Even nuclear radioactive capsules used in Nuclear medicine is highly guarded and totally accounted for. Some comments here are so ridiculous. Do they think a robust and powerful organization like international atomic energy would sit around and watch people mess around with these things?
Relax have you heard of "source" used in O&G industry? Do you know how highly radioactive and DNA altering it is ? And how people are unknowingly exposed to it in the industry today? We are in strange times and strange things are happening in the world today. We need to be open minded and stop swallowing whatever the develop world makes us to believe.

Stupid Governor, why release the name of the positive test. That's a medical record that only the patient can make public. The woman will be stigmatized from now on.

Not a good enough excuse.
Naija ill backward mentality. Davido revealed his wife corona virus test results, Elba and other patients revealed theirs. Who stigmatised them?
No wonder Naija always lag behind in comity of nations. We hide everything. Name of patient revealed to curb spread in the state. Thumbs up Governor.

Good day great intellectuals of Nairaland.

Overtime, I have seen people on this forum address issues on/for/about people with 2.2 and 3rd class and advice them on what to do next, however neglecting the 2.1 and 1st class category.

As a recent graduate, the future looks bleak. I would like matured advice on the next step and how to move forward from here. As you know, every decision at this point is quite critical.

I graduated from Mechanical Engineering department. Engineering professionals, your views are welcome here please.
Go for your masters in Power systems Engineering immediately on completion of Service. It will give you the competitive edge and open opportunities in global stage.

Don't want to interefere in this spat but one thing for sure RVP is and and will be a far bigger player for both club and country. Ole is the manager of one of the biggest clubs in global football and with it comes herculean responsibility.

To lash out against expected criticism following failure in a marquee contest like that is disappointing. If he cannot take the heat of towering expectstions he should make way. There are several, far better gaffers out of a job and many more will be available in the summer.
You are totally Wrong. As players Ole is greater than RVP in Man U. Ole is a Man U hero in higher esteem than RVP. He contributed to Man U success stories as a player than RVP.

Ole is an idiot for that comment.
RVP spent 2years and carried united on his back. The fans still reminisce his time here meanwhile ole spent 10yrs and can't be said of same.
Was only lucky to be at united at that period.

Big fat lie. Every imported car has unique custom paper showing custom duties paid. It carries the vehicle VIN and amount purchased or valued. There is always a special custom code assigned to every car passing through Nigeria border. You can verify the authenticity of your custom paper online with the unique custom number

Graduates and individuals with technical experience should try explore oil and gas career opportunities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai . Oil and gas companies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai carry out recruitment all the time. Africans should look beyond meagre jobs in Dubai because opportunities abounds and we can do better than Indians and other asians currently dominating the sectors here.
