Afriqan:Your analysis is 100% correct. I have drivers using my cars for bolt services. They balance 25k every six days. They never failed since we started the deal. They are living fine with their families and they confessed that their social status changed since they started operating the bolt scheme with my cars. They are operating in the south south not in lagos though. If Bolt/Uber are not working fine in lagos, the situation should be peculiar to Lagos terrain and not generally sin Nigeria. |
Stkingsley:You need to make further enquiries. Bolt remits cash to drivers on Mondays after balancing accounts. Bolt will pay you for trips paid with cards and bonuses earned. Boltis owing you |
The earlier you Quit the Job the better. A bolt driver makes 25k above in 6 days after balancing car owner. So its not advisable for an able bodied young man like you to waste his 30 days and earn paltry 25k. Pls look for a car owner and register with bolt, while searching for other business and skills to further your career. |

nwauwa:I used my departure country Nigeria. If your departure country is Kenya, you use kenya. In the long run giving the right information at all time is the best. |
Amakapritty:I didn't do my PCR test in Lagos. I did my PCR in my state a day before my departure. I was forced to take undertaken at naija Airport before allowed to embark because my test results lifeline already reduced by 24hrs. I do not want anyone to be extorted by those Airport Officials. Reasons I recommended PCR same day at Lagos centre that is willing to issue result on time. Check Kenya Airways or Emirates airline websites for list of approved PCR test centres in Lagos). |
Godson123:Yes, Tourists need entry approval as well. According to Kenya Airways officials whom I enquired from, He said there's a link for the application on ICA website. I'm resident though. |
Those in Dubai can check this walking interview. https://m.khaleejtimes.com/jobs/uae-airline-hiring-500-customer-service-agents-salary-nearly-dh5000 |
Amolad111:I filled the register on arrivals on ICA website. I uploaded the mandatory documents passport data page and photo graph. I left column for vaccination vacant since I wasn't vaccinated. Vaccination certificate is equally not compulsory on the website. The approval code was Sent to my email after successful completion of above. This email message from ICA contains a bar code. This email is ultra compulsory. You must present it at airport in Naija. Link is below https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/registerArrivals |
I safely arrived UAE courtesy of Kenya Airways. Lagos- Nairobi-Dubai . Unvaccinated travellers are allowed both tourist and resident visa holders. I'm actually Unvaccinated and was allowed to travel freely to Dubai. The process of returning to UAE from lagos is smooth and easy. No much scrutiny at UAE, all long scrutinies were observed at Naija Airport only. Once you follow the simple procedure of 1. Get approval codes from ICA website with your valid visa. Youu will present this approval code at Nigerian airport. 2. Have a valid covid test result. Presumably Done in the morning of departures in lagos. Some centres issue test results in less than 12hrs. It's Advisable to use Night flight from Lagos so PCR result will still be within 48hrs validity on arrival in UAE. Though no one checked that my result in Dubai. 3. Have at least 100$ cash to cover PCR test and snacks in Nairobi. In Nairobi, Kenya Airways provided free transportation to test centre for PCR test. PCR Test cost $60 only. What we did was RT PCR test 6hrs before departure from Nairobi. On arrival in Dubai, Free PCR test was done swiftly at the Airport. And off I zoom in to UAE. Thanks to all Nairalanders that shared info here. You helped made my trip possible. More grace to Kenya Airways. |
Flight from Lagos to Dubai is possible for all travellers with valid visa(Residence and tourist visa holders) as physically confirmed by Lagos Airport Kenya Airways dept today. |
Thurmieee:Why do you still want to travel through Cotonou when Kenya Airways is air lifting Nigerians from lagos to UAE in less than 32hrs. |
curiobling:Pls during the long lay over at Nairobi, were you provided with accommodation at Nairobi Airport or you paid for hotel |
curiobling:Please I contacted my employers to booking my flight on 1st Oct. And need to have adequate information to seek pre approvals from the company. So will like to know the extra requirements needed by Kenya Airways. Pls is 6hrs rapid test required before departure? Can Unvaccinated resident visa holders be allowed to travel? If there is any other information you can share, Pls kindly do. |
curiobling:May God bless you. I'm eagerly awaiting. |
Uwaiwe:Anyone with above experience should please share. |
Pls any UAE resident that successfully travelled with Kenya Airways from Lagos to UAE should please share procedure. Thanks in advance |
KingBish:Please is Kenyan airline accepting only vaccinated UAE resident or unvaccinated UAE residence visa holders are equally accepted. |
Pls any UAE residency Visa holder that successfully travelled from Nigeria to Dubai should pls share the procedure. Thanks in advance |
Emirates cancelled my flight from Lagos to Dubai yesterday the second time in one month. Flight rescheduled to 30th Sept. Anyone with useful information on how residence visa holders can travel to Dubai from Nigeria should pls tell us. |

Covid-19 test payment before arrival in Nigeria is abolished. Payment to obtain permit is no longer a requirement before travelling to Nigeria. Nigeria govt announced it today. Travellers beware. |
Uwaiwe:Emirates just cancelled my flights. No rapid testing facility in Nigeria, Zambia, Ethiopia and Indonesia. Advised to rebook to 21 September. Still Subject to change. |
Pls any one travelled successfully to Dubai from Nigeria with out taking vaccine recently? Though I have flight schedule for next week directly from Nigeria to Dubai. Emirates Airlines with residence visa. |
Niran88:Yes, |
JuanDeDios:In the company I work, CCTV are monitored 24hrs every day. They have more than 50 cameras positioned all over the company premises. I usually go to the security room so it's not hearsay. |
I left Naija 4 years ago for UAE, within two years of living in Dubai, I built a house in Naija. I'm an Engineer by profession. Most people complaining about Dubai are within unskilled labour sector. Nigerian Nurses, Engineers, qualified Teachers, lecturers, Technician etc earn good wages in UAE. Most of them are in oil sectors which are far more lucrative than oil sectors in Nigeria. |
jimzy4u:If she has Alhosn and her negative Covid-19 test results appeared on the App, She is good to go. All they need at the border is test results on Alhosn App. |
GTB usually deduct 45USD from my domiciliary account each time I receive funds from my foreign account. I think I need to visit them to explain. |
Once knew a man that assisted some guys to secure jobs of seven figures per month abroad free of charge. Visa , flight tickets all free. The thank you he received from them after resuming the job was insults and blackmail. I dont blame the guy asking for written agreement. Some Naija guys dont deserve help. |
ileriashe29:Nigerians and fake news. So all those beautiful skyscrapers you see everywhere in Dubai you think they are statues? They are living apartments for families. Depending on where your income can afford. |
