If he is vaccinated, there's no cause for alarm. He should take paracetamol for body aches, eat fruits and run another test within next 7 to 10 days. I believe he will be fine to return negative. From personal experience though.

210k cannot feed family of three in a month in Nigeria. You can keep the job and forget Canada but don't hesitate to pass the offer over here. On a more serious note, 210k isn't upto $400. That's not even upto a cleaners salary in Canada. But don't resign from your job until you arrive in Canada. There are dubious, scam job offers all over the place. Follow up with Canada visa and ensure its legitimate because 210k job can't be compared with Canada visa process that cost more than N10M to secure legitimately.

These guys who collect 100aed at the airports here in dubai to prepare fake covid test Payments for those going to Nigeria, the day when this thing go cast. Hmmmm
Nigeria corrupt government collecting 50k for Covid-19 test that they will not carry out are the worst culprits. Those boys are only beating their corrupt papas in their corrupt game. Those boys once saved someone i know at Dubai Airport when Emirates refused to allow him to board over unpaid 50k Covid-19 test. Test that Nigeria govt won't do.

Afriqan:

It may be pathetic to you, but a decade ago, could you buy a ride and make good money from just driving your car without a taxi paint and permit in Nigeria?

A lot of would-be unemployed youths are now gainfully self-employed. The average Toyota Corolla on the road is feeding a family without 'agbero' disturbing...

There are countless people who have saved up from Uber/Bolt job to fund their dreams, so how else do lives change? You want Uber and Bolt to give people $1 million before accepting a simple fact... Dey there o.
Your analysis is 100% correct. I have drivers using my cars for bolt services. They balance 25k every six days. They never failed since we started the deal. They are living fine with their families and they confessed that their social status changed since they started operating the bolt scheme with my cars. They are operating in the south south not in lagos though. If Bolt/Uber are not working fine in lagos, the situation should be peculiar to Lagos terrain and not generally sin Nigeria.

Guys, I just started about 2 weeks ago. I use KIA SORENTO 2005 and boy, the fuel consumption no be here. In truth, I personally knows and thinks there is money in transportation business (Bolt/Uber) but my problem so far, is that, my car consumes fuel a lot, so i am planning on changing to a smaller car (Corolla, Camry and even Honda). (So, if you have any, kindly whatsapp me 08034157602. My advantage too, is that due to the size of the Car (Jeep) police have never stopped me more than once and they just flashed through my paper and asked me to go. Lastma, etc all usually thinks i am a private. Also the NAVY sticker on my windscreen makes them even salute me sometimes even with my passenger.

As a new entrant, i am having issues with understanding this BONUS stuff. I will do a trip of N3000, i end trip, the app will say Customer will pay N2,400. Bolt will pay you N600. At the end of the day, Bolt has never paid me before. Even have done few card trips, and i was never paid by bolt. These are the major challenges i really see in the business, apart from that, it is profitable. very profitable
You need to make further enquiries. Bolt remits cash to drivers on Mondays after balancing accounts. Bolt will pay you for trips paid with cards and bonuses earned. Boltis owing you

Career / Re: I Want To Quit My Teaching Job: Advice Needed by Uwaiwe: 5:12pm On Oct 14, 2021
The earlier you Quit the Job the better. A bolt driver makes 25k above in 6 days after balancing car owner. So its not advisable for an able bodied young man like you to waste his 30 days and earn paltry 25k. Pls look for a car owner and register with bolt, while searching for other business and skills to further your career.

I used my departure country Nigeria. If your departure country is Kenya, you use kenya. In the long run giving the right information at all time is the best.

Where did u do ur pcr test in.lagos?
I didn't do my PCR test in Lagos. I did my PCR in my state a day before my departure. I was forced to take undertaken at naija Airport before allowed to embark because my test results lifeline already reduced by 24hrs.
I do not want anyone to be extorted by those Airport
Officials. Reasons I recommended PCR same day at Lagos centre that is willing to issue result on time.

Check Kenya Airways or Emirates airline websites for list of approved PCR test centres in Lagos).

Yes, Tourists need entry approval as well. According to Kenya Airways officials whom I enquired from, He said there's a link for the application on ICA website. I'm resident though.

Aa stated above, can you assist with the link for ICA and the process?

quote author=Heleex post=106554262]

My current status on ICA website is green i.e. eligible to travel to UAE, but could this be different from the approval code you mentioned?
Since you're unvaccinated, did you fill the "Register Arrivals and Vaccination certificates Attestation" on ICA website?
I filled the register on arrivals on ICA website. I uploaded the mandatory documents passport data page and photo graph. I left column for vaccination vacant since I wasn't vaccinated. Vaccination certificate is equally not compulsory on the website. The approval code was Sent to my email after successful completion of above. This email message from ICA contains a bar code. This email is ultra compulsory. You must present it at airport in Naija. Link is below

I safely arrived UAE courtesy of Kenya Airways. Lagos- Nairobi-Dubai .
Unvaccinated travellers are allowed both tourist and resident visa holders. I'm actually Unvaccinated and was allowed to travel freely to Dubai. The process of returning to UAE from lagos is smooth and easy. No much scrutiny at UAE, all long scrutinies were observed at Naija Airport only. Once you follow the simple procedure of 1. Get approval codes from ICA website with your valid visa. Youu will present this approval code at Nigerian airport.
2. Have a valid covid test result. Presumably Done in the morning of departures in lagos. Some centres issue test results in less than 12hrs.
It's Advisable to use Night flight from Lagos so PCR result will still be within 48hrs validity on arrival in UAE. Though no one checked that my result in Dubai.

3. Have at least 100$ cash to cover PCR test and snacks in Nairobi. In Nairobi, Kenya Airways provided free transportation to test centre for PCR test. PCR Test cost $60 only. What we did was RT PCR test 6hrs before departure from Nairobi.
On arrival in Dubai, Free PCR test was done swiftly at the Airport. And off I zoom in to UAE.
Thanks to all Nairalanders that shared info here. You helped made my trip possible. More grace to Kenya Airways.

I don't know of unvaccinated bro, go to ica website if you are a resident of Abu Dhabi or to the gdfra of dubai if u live in Dubai to get green approval to re-enter.

Kenya and Turkish airline are strict on rapid antigen test to be conducted for you in Nairobi or in Istanbul during your transit as mandate to enter UAE. U need 70usd for the test in Nairobi and 10usd for transport to be arranged by the airport authority to and fro your test center of about 1.5km away from the airport.
Pls during the long lay over at Nairobi, were you provided with accommodation at Nairobi Airport or you paid for hotel

I doubt there's anywhere in the world CCTVs are actually monitored 24 hours - except military/high security facilities.
In the company I work, CCTV are monitored 24hrs every day. They have more than 50 cameras positioned all over the company premises. I usually go to the security room so it's not hearsay.
