The UAE is a technologically advance nation, they have gone far past the tech stage Nigeria is presently at.

As such your usual degree certificate (from your regular Nigerian school) is nearly practically useless as far as the mention categories of vacancy are concern.

Am sure you are aware Dubai itself is a smart city.

If you are onto jobs in IT, Engineering, Banking & Finance, Oil & Gas, Offshore stuffs etc, then be sure you are properly educationally certified in those field and possibly, with at least few years of working experience from recognised Nigerian institutions.

Question now is, if you do meet the requirements in the above paragraph, would you really be thinking of Dubai

You would probably (already) be gainfully employed.

If you are thinking Dubai (as as a West African immigrant), then be thinking MIDDLE & LOW level jobs. Forget the HIGH END juice.

If you have Oil and Gas experience, like Field operators, DD, Technician, etc. There are opportunities in UAE.

That means the salary is below the salary stipulated for Engineers , and hence it wouldn't be accepted at immigration , That might be why they would want to use a level 3 skill to apply for it as to be successful with your visa (level 3 don't need an attested Cert).

It depends on the class of job u got. cos if it is a level 1,2 or 3 skill job, immigration wouldn't touch a certificate without UAE seal. its better to get it attested for future changes.

Please if you are employed as an Engineer and the company decide to fill your profession with immigration as follow up clerk. What are the implications as per the skills level you mentioned above. it can be done any time. It's not a live interview. Its a recorded software but you have only a single attempt to record your answer which you will upload after answering the five questions. Apple Ipad is very nice for it. With airtel hotshot WiFi connection. It was superb.
