I intend helping one of my brothers to study in Germany but I don't know anything about Germany. I know that most schools are tuition free and that the cost of living is not that expensive compared to some countries. There's this University I came across and it's called the International University Of Applied Sciences in Bad Honnef. I understand it's a private state recognized university and it's a well recognized school in Europe.

But my fear is I don't understand how the German education system works. How are students graded? Is schooling in Germany difficult or easy? Are their exams paper based or computer based? How are the students graded in terms of classwork, assignment and stuffs?

I'll be very grateful anyone can shed more light or provide more info on this topic.
