I am just about starting the process and reading the many testimonies is motivating to say the least.
I visited the passport office in Gwagwalada yesterday and I hope I get my passport by Monday.
Preparing seriously to at least ace 8 in both listening and speaking tests of the IELTS.
Thankfully, the NASU strike has just been called off, this means I can process my licenses as a registered pharmacist in Nigeria, prepare to ace my IELTS and have my transcripts transmitted simultaneously.

I'll stick around this thread more often henceforth, and don't hesitate to provide any information that could be of help like you guys have always done.

Applied for EOR in writing module on the 27th November. Writing got upgraded from 6 to 7.

Yes you can switch NOC post ITA. Just provide the reason why u changed in a LOE. I did a research on this and found out many people (Zandora included) got PPR after changing NOCs Post ITA.

See if you can include it with your transcript which the school will send, thats what i did. If this isnt possible, you can fax it to them. Try not to forget indicating your reference number on the envelope and when you want to fax the documents to them.

Don't start what u won't finish. DIY is the best procedure. No one will handle your application better than u. Trust me.

but how does that now affect the choice between PR and Student visa? both still land one in Canada where you need to work your way back up to the top. The only difference is that with one you have permanent status and with the other student status with its various limitations. I really haven't heard of anyone getting depressed in Canada o

As i said earlier, u need to take ur time and do a research. Most engineers prefer Alberta (oil & gas) but the choice is totally up to you. Just do the research and u would get more useful info.

Btw, the nomination isnt free. I think the last i heard, it was about $1500 CAD. (not sure)

The average CRS score that has been invited to apply for sometime now is above 440. And since u maxed out IELTS, i think il advice u consider going thru provincial nominee program (PNP) as this gives u additional 600points.

Please do a research on this to know better and help decide which Province u will consider.

My humble opinion, but our elders here might advice better.
