Omooba77:
The Peoples Democratic Party has knocked the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for what attempting to divert attention from the main issues of the failures of the APC government by making derogatory remarks on the opposition PDP.

In a statement on Sunday by its spokesman, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP said APC’s fixation on the PDP only exposes Asiwaju Tinubu as a paper candidate who is confused, nervy and intimidated by the PDP’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the achievements of the PDP, which stare him in the face in mortal fear of failure ahead of the 2023 general elections.

2023: Withdraw Alleged APC Members As RECs, SERAP Tells Buhari

“Unlike the APC that is dead, the PDP is not only alive and existing as acknowledged by Asiwaju Tinubu in his statement, but also strong, united and focused on its mission to Rescue, Rebuild and Redirect our nation from the misrule of the APC.

“It is distressing that Asiwaju Tinubu speaks like someone under the influence with incoherent discourse and absence of mind that further expose a lack of capacity for leadership especially at the Presidential level.

“It is rather shameful that the APC Presidential Candidate alluded to the nation’s railway system which was revitalized by the PDP administration but painfully surrendered to terrorists and bandits by the APC government.

“From his incoherent discourse, the APC Presidential Candidate appears to be battling with issues of ethical challenges and ineligibility to contest election on account of inconsistencies in his educational qualifications, name, ancestry, age, corruption allegations among myriads of issues.

“Moreover, Nigerians have realized the futility of Asiwaju’s non-existent and heavily concocted achievements, influence, leadership prowess and skills.

“Nigerians gave Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu the benefit of the doubt but he failed them by engineering a deceitful government leading to the ugly indices of insecurity and bloodletting, economic hardship, unemployment, disunity and low life expectancy imposed on our nation in the last seven years.

“He should know that Nigerians are aware that he is in the Presidential race not to serve but to gain control of the nation’s treasury so as to expand his exploitative enterprise and economic empire beyond Lagos State.

“The APC Presidential Candidate has not responded to allegations that he is the promoter of the increase in VAT, electricity tariff, import duties, Stamp Duty, fuel price hike as well as other exploitative tolls by the APC Federal Government, from which he allegedly benefits through many stooges in the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and other revenue generating agencies of government.

“Asiwaju is a huge baggage to the APC. He should know that because of him there is a daily exodus of millions of APC members across the country into the PDP. In the last one month, over 5 million APC members have defected to the PDP.

“In the Lagos State axis, his supposed stronghold, close to one million APC members have decamped to the PDP since his emergence as APC Presidential Candidate.

“This is because Nigerians have recognized the PDP and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar as the solution our nation needs at this moment while Asiwaju has been identified as “Another Problem Coming” (APC),” the PDP’s statement read.

Seems like social media in Nigeria is controlled by ipob, even people who dislike Ipob help spread the ipob narrative.

According to Ipob, Buhari is Jubril from sudan and not Nigerian

Now, the same tactics has been created for Tinubu.

According to ipob and their supporters, Tinubu is Amoda Ogunlere Yekini from Osun state.
Stop spreading lies. Yekini Amoda Ogunlere was never denied by Tinubu nor his cousin Oyetola.
Even you know that Bola Tinubu is not his real name. Who was his father? How many times did you see Oyetola with Alh Abibattu before she died? You people will know the truth, but twist it because you want your tribes man to be president. A sick and tired man for that matter.

Oh o! I forgot, anyone against Tinubu is ipob.

Politics › 2023 APC Campaign Slogan Out! by Validated(op): 10:54am On Sep 01, 2022
In 2014, the APC campaigned with "Change"
The change we saw was from growth economy to recession.

In 2019, they came up with Next Level. The next level was taking Nigerians to the top spot as World capital of poverty.

In the build up 2023, they have no campaign slogan. The PDP is campaigning with "Rescue Nigeria", the Labour Party is campagning with "Let's Take it Back".

Do you know APC slogan?

Peter Obi cannot win,
Peter Obi has no structure,
Peter Obi is deceiving his followers.
Peter Obi is ipob

Watch and count how many topics they will post today about Peter Obi today alone on NL. And the mods supporting them will push them to FP

Trully, APC cannot win 25% in more than 12 states because only bigots and tribal chauvinist will vote for such a disgusting party.
Politics › 2023: Is Social Media Relevant? Facts & Falacies by Validated(op): 10:33am On Sep 01, 2022
Towards 2023 elections, we have been hearing that Social Media and by extension the internet is not relevant to winning elections. In this few lines, I would like to examine what I have termed facts and falacies.

In the built up to the 2014/15 presidential elections, the APC came up with the "Change" mantra. The change effect was largely driven by the social media. We recall the appearance of several social media influencers, some of whom are still in government circle today.
At that time the total internet users in Nigeria, was less than 20% of the adult population. All the propaganda against Jonathan, from fuel subsidy protest to chibok girls saga were principally driven via social media and the effect was a change of leadership.

Fast forward to 2023, we now have about 83 million mobile internet subscribers. That is about 46% of Nigeria popolation and about the total number of registered voters in Nigeria. I dare ask, are these users of the internet and social mefia relevant in an election year? Answer is a resounding "Yes".
These are facts. If you ignore social media in 2023 and focus solely on house to house or mouth to mouth mobilization, you are bound to fail in 2023. So, anyone who controls the cyberspace has a good chance in 2023. Even in advanced democracies, the social media is a great resource. Or tool for ekectoral success.

Some peope have been shouting, "no polling unit in Social Media". This is true. Nigeria is not practising online voting. However, demeaning the impact of social mefia in 2023 is a foolish move or gamble. Or can I say, playing hypocrisy. So when you hear people talking about a candidate is only popular on social media, ask "Are the internet users robots or human"? If humans, what makes them irrelevant?
I believe that the naysayers are losing grip of the social media platforms or can I say, they have lost grip of it. I remember a parable I was told while growing up, "that the toy you do not have is perceived as useless by you". You may only begin to see it differently when you can have it. It is just like someone will say, "how can I pay millions to live in Ikoyi, when I need a fraction of that to live in Okokomauko, afterall, we are all in Lagos", but deep down, the real reason is because s/he cannot afford it. These are the lies we tell ourselves and they are the fallacies of life.

So, towards 2023, if you control the social media, do not apply the brakes, rather push the trottle pedal harder. Like they say, Flaunt it! Those condemning you are angry because they do not have what you have.
