Campaign for 2023 Presidential elections will commence on Sep 28, 2022. That is 2 weeks and 4 days from today.

If you hear that Tinubu is travelling abroad from now on, he is on a medical trip. This is a snag many APC leaders are scared to talk about. The baba needs to "patch" his leaking tubes every 40 - 45 days. However, campaign is going to last for 5 months (150 days). Meaning baba needs to go for patching for atleast 3 times during the campaign window. Each patching lasts approximately 2 weeks, meaning the "emilokan" crooner will be off campaign trails for such a time. People would ask questions, sebi!

There is therefore the fear as to how the old druglord is going to criss-cross 36 states with such disjointed itinenary without arousing suspision. That is where the dilemma is tough for the APC campaign committee.

The question now is will APC go ahead with Tinubu and damn the consequences as it did with lack of credentials, then muslim-muslim ticket? Or would APC retrace her steps and drop Tinubu for a younger and healthier Amaechi?

Ipob's interest in LP is centered on Obi. After Nigerian govt asked international communities to declare Ipob a terrorist group, the financiers of Ipob started looking for a legitimate platform as surrogate. Obi became their surrogate. They want a political take over from which they can acquire state power, then unleash their original plan to occupy and hold Nigeria under a unitary rule commandered by a supreme ibo council.

They are upfront spreading and marketing Obi, but underneath they already are doing a take over in incremental steps. For instance, the party stalwarts and chieftains in LP are already grumbling in background of being sidelined in decision making and that Obi people are running his programs independent of policies set by NWC of the party.

The foreign trips by Obi to speak to Nigerians abroad was not a decision of NWC.. So who set up the invitation programme and funded the trip?

Couple of years ago Nnamdi Kanu took a tour of Canada and US, financed by Ibos in North America. Here are the cities Kanu visited, compare them with Obi's visit to exact same cities.

There are strong indications that the PDP are looking to hamner a deal with former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi to return to the PDP. Analyst believe such a deal will deflate Wike's bloated ego. It woud be recalled that since losing the APC presidential ticket, Rotimi Amaechi has remained largely unconcerned about the APC. Rumours have it that Amaechi alongside many other APC presidential aspirants from the South are totally against the APC's muslim-muslim ticket.
The recent romance between Tinubu and Wike has opened a rivalry wound between Amaechi and Wike. Political analysts believe that if Wike defects to the APC, as some have been speculating, Amaechi will cash in on the leadership vacuum that will be created to swing into poitical relevant in Rivers and by extension the South South.
Should Amaechi declare support for Atiku, PDP in Rivers will combine with those of Delta and Akwa-Ibom to form a three prong tripod for PDP in the South South.
However, informed sources believe Atiku favours a reconcilation with Wike than chose the Amaechi option, however, all cards are on the table for now.
The only thing still distracting Amaechi is his hope that he might become a beneficiary of a possible disqualification of Tinubu, with the myraid of cases bothering on inconsistencies on the former's profile. Trully , in politics there are no permant friends, but permanent interest. Time shall tell what becomes of Rivers State PDP.

Wike is a loser. Atiku should start romancing Amaechi to return to PDP and "deflate" Wike's bloated ego.
