Justice Taiwo-Taiwo should have awarded N2b as punitive. God save some foolish people that I am not a judge, if you bring any frivolous case to my court, the one Amina Adamu Augie charged those Olanipekun and Babalola would be small. |
christistruth01:You have been shouting this all over the net. Please can you give this Nathaniel Solomon's address and his middle name, so we can be sure are not being half truthful? |
Ballack1:Vote out APC in 2023 |
BluntCrazeMan:Oga, both use INEC resources. Money, personnel, time, logistics, etc. By the way, Buhari is not signing that shit, because it is not sustainable. Party primaries are private parties affairs, not FG affair. Please, read the Electoral Act as amended. I know you have not seen it, but to help you just search for section 87 of the amended act. It will cure your ignorance. |
BluntCrazeMan:Oga, INEC MUST witness all primaries to be valid. Go read electoral act. Without INEC presence, such elections are invalid. |
This woman just distabilized Lai Muhammad. That was to be his first point on Wednesday, after the FEC meeting. |
Siramen2001:Just see how "Prior to a United States presidential election, the major political parties select delegates from the various state parties for a presidential nominating convention, often by either primary elections or party caucuses... Each party holds a national convention to select a final presidential nominee. State delegates from the primaries and caucuses selected to represent the people will now “endorse” their favorite candidates and the final presidential nominee from each party ..." |
PeaceJoyLove:I still insist that you lack education. That is your problem. Firstly, go back and read the report. It states ...“During the amendment of the Electoral Act, we met with the National Assembly but the issue of direct primary was never discussed. We discussed electronic transmission of results, electronic voting, Diaspora voting and other issues. It was at the point of the adoption of the report that the direct primary was added to the bill.". Those were from INEC. If you were knowledgeable, you would have kmown your ppints are useless. First you are arguing about cost. There are bout 20 parties that regularly participate in elections out of about 92 registered parties. How can INEC conduct 20 primaries? For just one office? Oh, you do not know there are about 8700 wards in Nigeria and each needs atleast 2 INEC reptesentatives for direct primaries. Your senseless arguement on open ballot and Anambra APC shows you lack knowledge. For your information, APC Lagos used open ballot in 2019, Anambra APC used Open Ballots in 2020, Edo APC used open ballot in 2020. Even in 2019, Buhari was nominated via open ballot. All 4 mentioned produced results that were not sustainable in real elections. In fact fictitious or fake. In Lagos Sanwolu got about 950k votes, but in actial elections, he was struggling to get 700k, where are the 200k card carrying members? Fictitious! In Anambra Andy Uba was awarded 200k votes at the direct primaries. In the elections he got about 42K. Where are other 158k? Ficticious. In 2015, Buhari got 25m in direct primaroes conducted by APC. In the actual elections, he got only 15m. Where are 10m card carrying members? Ficticious! You do not know these because of you cheap diploma obtained in one backyard school. Please go get education and stop abusing your generation. Anyway, it is in your culture couple with your half education, it is obvious you will be hydra-headed. |
PeaceJoyLove:You lack common education and so your comprehension is below par. No point wasting time with you or even expaining to you. Low IQ is your problem. Reading your raves tells me you did not even cross high school, so your reasoning is mediocre. Please, get someone that is educated up to degree level to explain each point to you because, clearly your comprehension is too shallow. Just so you know, INEC already said they were not consulted before NASS leadership inserted the direct primaries clause, in the ekectoral amendment bill. |
Here are some reasons to jettison the idea of direct primaries: i. It is based on an open ballot system. If the open ballot is acceptable at party primaries, why is it not acceptable in the election proper? ii. Cost would be prohibitive and the process would be cumbersome. There are 774 LGAs, so for every LGA election, the electoral bodies at the state level would first conduct primaries for all political parties at the council and chairmanship level. Then INEC will conduct primaries for all state assembly candidates for all parties at state level, then conduct for NASS for all parties and governorship for all parties. This is absolute nonsense. iii, Duplication of efforts, as parties primaries would amount to INEC conducting elections before elections. iv. Resources needed would be too much to make any meaning. INEC does not have such resources |
No need to spend billions on irrelevant processes. The biggest and stable democracies do not waste such a humungous amount on direct primaries that would end up creating confusion with fictitious results like that of Anambra APC. INEC does not have such resources v. All political parties would now need to amend their constitutions to reflect the requirements of the electoral act, which is nonsense. Political parties are private "vehicles' for seeking political offices, if the electoral laws do not govern how their structures and organs are constituted, why govern how they pick their candidates? vi. Multiplicity of membership, how do INEC and the parties control list of membership? Meaning a political party could influence candidates for the opposing party by proxy membership. That is one person could hold both APC as well as PDP membership. All a smart politician would do is to create proxy membership of the opposition and use his proxies to vote for a weak person in the opposition. Please, Mr. President should ask NASS to delete the direct primaries insertion and sign a sustainable electoral law. The direct primaries' insertion is myopic and self-serving! |
Buhari will reply them in the language they understand. |
If SE cannot get president in 2023, they should support a Northerner to get VP atleast. What is good for Osinbajo should also be good for Obi. |
dasparrow:Abeg which country is this? Not Cabada abd US. Are you in Pueto Rico or whwre? |
Why is NIN not required to vote? |
Another election SCAM, don't fall for it. 6 and half years gone, na now day break. No bi only deel, na scam

So, you need honest advice? You better go back to your abandoned programme. Whatever you need to complete it, just sit your lazy ass down and do it. Thereafter, you can begin thinking of Canada or US for masters. So you think a crash course of 6 months is what you need to compete in US or Canada? Do you know that Canada universities gradautes some of the best trained IT graduates in the world today. There are about 2M IT professionals in Canada today, yet you want to come with one useless IT crash course and think you can easily get a job? How do you guys reason self? You think first world is as lazy as 3rd world? Many international graduates here are looking for work in their field so they can qualify for PR, you are thinking of crash 6 months programne to compete with graduates from UofT, McGill, Waterloo, UBC, etc. Even general labour sef go hard you to get. Do you know how many universities in these country offer computer science as course. Do you know how many tech savvy graduates from India, Pakistan, China, Hong Kong, etc are hustling to move to US and Canada, even with MSc? Sir stop this bad dream, it is a ladder to poverty and regrets, I know because I live in Canada and I have an MSc Computer Science graduate from Pakistan with years of experience both in Pakistan and Dubai who works for me as system analyst. Again, so at 20 you still do not know you are an adult, you are opening your mouth that you dropped out at 300L, how stupid. In Canada, at 16, you are an adult. You think your father is going to be alive forever? My friend, just go back to school and sit your ass down and face your studies. Do you even realise that if you start afresh now, you will be 26 when you go into the labour market? New graduates now are in their early 20s, so by then the industries will see you as an old man without experience. Please, GO BACK TO YOUR CLASS AND ROUND OFF WHATEVER IS LEFT OFF YOUR 300L PROGRAMME,except you are looking for short-cut to poverty in life. This is the same advice I would give my son. Fortunately he is graduating at 22 in same computer science. So, you see son, I am advising you from a knowledge point of view, not just from conjecture or what I read on the net. Goodluck! |
Ammishaddai:Buhari never wanted to declare bandits as terrorrist. The US secretary of state brought Buhari an ultimatum from the US to declare bandits terrorists and apply maximum forece hence the government buckled. Watch as the activities of this bandits will cease. |
Stupid APC, you all defended tradermoni with all your blood. Go and share moni now like you shared in Anambra to 15800 people and got beaten mercilessly: infact Anambra election was child's play. Even AAC will defeat APC in both Osun and Ekiti. |
Kabongo1:Yahoo Yahoo! |
Awo criss crossed Nigeria, Musa Yardua crisscrossed Nigeria, MKO bagged chieftainship and so call turbaned in all northern states and was never president. The next president is not the Maduka type of media hyped politician. He is still consulting those who hold the aces, not some old vocal rants that command zero forces. Tinubu has three big baggages, one he is a muslim south, two he is corrupt three he is too old. These are baggages that cannot sell in 2023. |
InvertedHammer:Thank you. OP is a fool thinking he is wise. How on earth do you take a lady out of the country just to have sex, when you never agreed to that in first place. You are here shouting Delilah and Jezebel as if you know tomorrow. Then your types are hailing you. That lady may end up marrying a presidebt or governor and you know what, with this lifestyle, you are on line for poverty. |
paramakina202:Ko le work, Nigeria is not a muslim country. |
ScamHunter:I doubt if Osinbajo can win his lcal govt primaries talkless of APC Zticket |

@VP just a point of correction, there is a difference between Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) and The Coca Cola Company. Question is which of the two is investing $1b? NBC cannot because it does not have the resources and can hardly raise half that amount from NSE or debt. A look at its current stock price put paid to that. On the other hand the Coca Cola Company cannot invest $1b because it has no need to. It owns no plant, only supplying concentrates and pushing adverts. So, Mr. VP, who did they say is investing $1b in Nigeria, abi na another APC propaganda. |
Disclaimer12:You opinion does not count. You only have voice on NL |
Vampallaaa:Oga, go find work. This one wey you dey hope to win, na poverty for old age you dey romance with ooo! |
It is actually Igbos turn come 2023. Anyone shouting Tinubu, Osinbajo or any other name does not mean well for Nigeria. If we want a united Nigeria, every part must feel belong. That is how unity is achieved. If we keep blind eye and think things will be okay when some people are clearly marginalized, we are just dreaming. This is what Ethiopia is facing now. This was what broke USSR, destroyed Chechoslovakia and almost destroyed Kenya.. Buhari knows this, even Tinubu knows this also, ACF and Afenifere knows this. Only Nairaland yoruba muslims do not understand. That is why you hear them beat drum for Tinubu that has already conceded to superior arguement. The same political solution adopted when MKO was killed by deliberately allowing two yoruba sons to contest 1999 presidency is what will be adopted. I see both APC and PDP presenting Igbo cabdidates come 2023. South West should start shopping for Senate ptesident. May be Gbajabiamila might upgrade to the sebate for that. |

maestro299:$52.17 a month my brother, that is $1.74 a day for a Southern graduate. Meanwhile, his Northern counterpart is chosing between Immigration, CBN, NNPC or INEC. |
