Two of them are ss two students going to ss three (Teenagers o), One is an apprentice in a drug store at Inoziomi and the other one which is the oldest of them popularly called Labman is a lab technician who doubled as a secretary to the school. I'm bewildered when I saw their names as the master mind of the OWO terrorist attack. And this have further make me lose trust in our security agents (They lack credibility, walahi). The name of the Village is Eika-Ohizenyi (Google map can help you if you want to verify) in Okehi LGA of Kogi State.

Five people were killed in a Friday shooting at Royal West Africa Ceramics Company in Ajaokuta.

The attack happened around 8 o'clock, according to a statement from the police.

According to reports made available to The Bureau, the attack claimed the lives of one Indian expatriate, two police inspectors, and two company drivers.

The police reported that the inspectors perished "in the exchange of fire with the hoodlums, before the Area Commander and a local military detachment reinforced to the scene of the incident, and the attackers escaped."

In order to make the State a safe and secure place for everyone, "The CP emphasizes that the Command is committed to working in cooperation with other security agencies as well as patriotic stakeholders.

He has also given the State Criminal Investigation Department's (SCID) deputy commissioner of police the job of starting inquiries into the regrettable incident in order to identify the root of the attack and its immediate causes in order to bring those responsible to justice.

After three police officers and five vigilantes were slain in an ambush last month in the Ajaokuta region, the governor, Yahaya Bello, suspended a traditional leader and questioned the district's political leader.

Although no group has taken responsibility for the attack, violence has increased in Kogi recently.

The bombing of a police station in Kogi's Okehi area in June by jihadists from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), who were not from their normal base in the northeast, resulted in the death of a police officer and the destruction of the building.

Three police officers were killed in an attack on a police station in the town of Adavi in April.

ISWAP, which broke away from Boko Haram in 2016 to emerge as the leading jihadist organization in the area, claimed responsibility for both attacks.

A recent jailbreak near the Nigerian capital Abuja carried out by the gang resulted in the release of hundreds of prisoners, including 64 jihadist commanders.

A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress Party (APC), in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Dr. Musa Dangiwa, on Monday berated Nigerians criticising, APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Tinubu over his certificates, saying governance is all about intellectual mindedness and ability to put things in better perspective for the betterment of all Nigerians.


Musa Dangiwa who said Tinubu’s critics were lost in their own senses, claimed that President Buhari did not acquire University Education, yet he rules successfully for eight years.

” The same issue was raised when president Buhari was campaigning. Some, even said he did not go to primary school, and some said he cannot speak correct English. But he is about to complete his eight years in office.

President Buhari ruled over professors, academia and highly intellectuals are his kitchen cabinet members, they decide on policies, and their implementations” he said


He said it’s impossible to curse anyone whom God has blessed, adding that governance is not all about certificates, and qualifications, but God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the way, things should be done right.

He assured Nigerians that if Buhari can rule successfully for eight years, without blemish, Bola Tinubu will rule victoriously because of his antecedent

The leadership of North-East All Progressive Congress Youth Stakeholders Forum announced that it has commenced a door-to-door and ward-to-ward consultation to drum up support for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the forum, Haruna Sardauna, on Thursday evening at the APC Secretariat in Abuja.
Sardauna reiterated that the move was to express appreciation for Tinubu’s consideration of former
Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima, for the vice presidential slot and to further sensitise their people on why APC remained relevant for continuity and consolidation.
The development is coming barely 24 hours after the official presentation of Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate.
Shettima’s unveiling took place at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, amid a heavy presence of
security operatives.
In attendance were party chieftains, members of the National Working Committee and leadership of the APC led by Senator Abdullahi Adamu and National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore.
Others were former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole; former Minister of the Niger Delta
Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; Governors Kayode Fayemi, Babagana Zulum, Atiku Bagudu and Abdullahi Ganduje.
However, the absence of South East political leaders and governors got many pondering whether it was a coincidence.
They include former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ikeobasi Mokelu; former Minister of State for Education, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu; Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi; former Minister of Education,
Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba; Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma and Senator Rochas Okorocha.
In a statement released on Thursday, Sardauna disclosed that people in the North East are prepared to vote APC in the 2023 election as a means of payback, adding the ruling party has drastically improved the security situation in the region.
He said, “We shall take our campaigns house to house, ward by ward and organize a sensitization programme on voters’ rights and power and why APC should remain relevant for continuity and consolidation and more.
“For Northeast to Support APC in 2023 Election is a payback, because APC has drastically improved the
security situation of the region. People are no longer displaced but enjoying their resettlement to their
various communities and enjoying freedom.
“The North-East APC Youth Stakeholders forum and other card-carrying members are totally committed to bringing all their political arsenals to make sure APC
emerges victorious in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.”
