Chinedu7: It will if it's not properly skewed that is my observations. With new improved SuperMax lnb that I posted few days ago, I got 53-54% and it still goes off around 11pm. So, I decided to do the skewing by that time in the night and to my greatest surprise I got back to around 49-50% and it didn't go off again. Now it means the key is in the skewing. What I did was drop the lnb a little deeper to 38number line instead of 40 line, skew the point-0 to 6pm instead of 5pm. Of course I used glass plate instead of plastic plate. The pictures of those specifications are attached. The truth is that you need perfect skewing and it will not drop signal again. Good luck. yeah. best time to track sports24hd is around 8pm, once u can get 51% , it stays |

timifakay: ...I know it's none of my business, but you got me confused, do u wanna expand your set up or are you building a different set up with the secondhand battery? I won't advise you combine new and used kind of different setup. i will use the same inverter. my brand new battery is being used with solar and charged also with 30amps smart charger, but the fairly used battery i will buy will be used solely as back up, i.e only when the new battery runs down. which of the 3 batteries do u suggest i choose? |

saint2ace: Ritar batteries are quite reliable, that would be my first pick followed by Sukam then Luminous.
My opinion... thanks. i am afraid of used battery though. he said its 35k last. his location is alaba int. and because of my location, it will not be easy return incase its faulty. |

Bosc: I use the 3rd one (Ritar) which I also bought fairly used. The seller told me that it is an industrial battery and that its life span is about 13 to 15 years but that he will assure me that I will use it for 3 years or more. So if you are sure that they are all in good shape, I recommend it for you. thanks, how long does it last, with your previous quoted load? |

in this days of epileptic power supply, solar is the way to go. 200amps battery will need about 400watts rated solar panel to charge full in a day assuming there is enough sunlight. price breakdown 2 pcs 200watts mono solar panel=70k wellsee 30amp solar charge controller =8k so with 78k u are good to go. |
Science/Technology › Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by Valto(m): 3:08pm On Apr 13, 2016 |
i have now tested my setup and i think my 200watts solar panel is still not enough to fast charge my 200amps battery. i will try get another 200watts solar panel soon. meanwhile @zanyzara, my own charge controller read 4ah while on medium sunshine, 7ah when on heavy sunshine. |

laposta: I guess what you have is a 24v solar panel?
Whatever the case, the 40volts reading is why you need a Solar Charge controller. If you pass that solar power directly to your batteries, na fry you go fry am be that... lolz, even one supplier told me to just connect directly and start using. i refused, after reading the voltage with meter. i cant afford to damage my 200amp battery i bought 70k in this hard time. 30amps solar charge controller is on the way. |

laposta: Don't try that. A solar panel has a very wide voltage range. A charge controller helps narrow it down so you don't damage your battery. You also have to be careful when installing. Get a professional to do it for you to forestall any risk of electrocution. hmm. that means i will av to spend more. what type of charge controller should i buy. i will not use more than 2 solar panel on my set up for now. |

boyexale: Good day bro, I just bought a 75amh battery (fairly used) but the battery does not last more than 1hr 30min if fully Charged. Though I'm still testing it. I use 32" TV AC 110-240V, 50/60Hz with a gotv decoder. * I reduced the brightness and the contrast of the tv while watching. your battery does not look like a deep cycle battery. but u i think with your load 2hrs runtime is fair. |

Hope dis ur suplier sells bateries too. these are my set up.. 1500w inverter =8k 30amps smart charger =9k. i bought them from the mushin olosha bustop man. 08033153072 i bought my 200amps battery brand new from onitsha 70k. so my total set up is 87k. u can also buy a fairly used 200amps battery from oshodi or from this guy in alaba 08034411042. a fairly used 200amps battery from the alaba guy is about 35k. he claims its with guarantee.
