Anyone here having issues on HDSP24?Well,Here is how i fixed mine:First of all,I had to change my lnb from eurostar to Supermax (VH777)--Some people are complaining that this lnb isn't good enough but from my findings today,I discovered that this model is the best and cheapest 17k lnb you can get.I must confess that the same lnb is as good as strong 15k lnb.So if you aren't getting signal anymore,change to either strong or supermax.Secondly,for those that tracked before,you should already know that the lnb should be placed at the 34mark,but i had to push it further out even beyond the 30mark and a little tweaking and my sp24 started dancing again.Some must've read from pakogist already but the fact is;You don't neccessarily need to move/touch your dish.my sp24 was stable at 44-45% while my Nta was 84-85 on my 4922 but 87% on 4669 while sp24 was at 21%...note that I used V polarisation for Nta but H for sp24 tp.Overall is just get a good lnb and your good to go (Don't use a low-end lnb other than supermax 17k lnb or strong 15k lnb,you'll get drenched in the rain).I'm reporting from Rivers,SS Nigeria.FTA for life!

thanks, i have been retracking for 2days now, no way. it keeps flashing. i think i will need to cut glass as suggested by pakogist. my lnb is okay.

the management of peace mass transit really need to overhaul their driving staff, cos its getting too much. this accident happened yesterday (monday) evening. according to reports from people on the scene. this accident just happened along emene airport road, driver seriously injured, passengers rushed to the hospital, we don't know if any has died yet, but I pray they shouldn't.

i av a 25watts rechargeable standing fan, that i use and sells too, it last 9hrs on full charge, comes with LED lights, timer and remote control too. very good for inverter.

why not buy a 20amps smart battery charger of 9k..if u decide to go for solar panel and controller, it will cost u 45k for 200watts mono panel and 10k for PWM solar charge controller. total 55k,excluding wires and installation cost.

no, its the other way round. mono is better and cost a bit more..

250k is more than enough for a start..... let say.....
2pcs 200watts mono panel at 38k each=76k
solar charge controller PWM= 10k or mppt controller 50k
a good 1.5kva inverter 50k
1pcs 200amps battery @ 40k =(with one month guarantee) or brand new @68k thick wires for installation and other accessories about 8k
u can start with these, then u can add 1 more panel and battery later..

oga its not an mppt.. the one i bought 8k with display and keys is even better than this. they merely wrote mppt on it. the cheapest 30amps mppt is about 50k and can never go for 17k even if na fairly used. for further clarifications read this..http://www.sustainablesolutions.co.nz/article/fake-mppt-controllers

this is not real mppt.. btw, there isnt much difference between mppt and PWM when using 1 panel.. mppt performs much better when u use panels above 400w.

what's the maximum current of charging you have witnessed? If it has been a maximum of 11A, then it is not truly MMPT. However, if you have achieved a charging amperage above 11A (probably as high as 16A) , then I suppose it is truly MMPT.

Between, can you post a picture of your charge controller please? I'm looking to buy one soon.

i am not sure there is any true mppt solar charge controller of 30amps that can go for anything below 35k as at January this year. i was offered a PWM solar charge controller modified and printed MPPT all over the body, but i declined, when i googled it and found out its a fake mppt. this is a picture of mine, and its the cheapest 30amps TRUE MPPT controller in the market..bought at 46k 2months ago. real mppt doesn't come cheap.

Traveled to Aba to visit someone and saw a shop selling inverters at 63 Azikiwe Street. He also sells 200Ah at 35k. Would have bought that but was traveling back to Owerri and that battery is too heavy

beware of cheap fairly used batteries, some of them are not good enough. buy fairly used only when the seller is ready to give u at least one month guarantee, to avoid stories that touches the heart wink

If I use a 200w type on a 200Ah battery, can I use the same devices you listed and for how long?

isnt 15k on the high side? i bought the same 1500w car inverter #7500 3months ago in mushin lagoas and am very sure it will not be more than 9k now.. if u stay in lagos, go to mushin and get it far cheaper

i bought my 2pcs of 200watts SUNSHINE SOLAR panel 35k each at alaba int lagos. within a month interval. However i dont think it will still go for the same now, but u can call my supplier, he is the direct importer. dont be afraid transact with him, he can easily send it to ph, the same way he sent mine to Bayelsa.
