House painting is an important aspect of home improvement and maintenance for several reasons. Some of the key benefits of house painting include:

Aesthetics: A fresh coat of paint can make a noticeable difference in the appearance of a house, giving it a clean, modern, and attractive look.

Protection: Paint helps to protect the exterior of a house from the elements, such as rain, wind, and sun. This can help to prolong the life of the building and keep it looking good for longer.

Maintenance: Regular painting can help to maintain the structure and stability of a house by preventing the growth of mold and mildew, as well as other forms of decay and deterioration.

Increased Value: A well-maintained and nicely painted house can increase its market value, making it a more desirable property for potential buyers.

Personalization: Painting a house is also an opportunity for homeowners to express their personal style and preferences, and to create a living space that reflects their individuality.

Overall, house painting is a cost-effective and efficient way to improve the look and value of a property, while also helping to protect it from the elements and maintain its structural integrity.

White and dark gray are classic and timeless colors that can be combined to create a stylish and sophisticated look for the exterior of a home. When used together, these colors provide a clean, crisp contrast that adds depth and interest to the overall design.

For a traditional look, a white exterior with dark gray accents on the shutters, front door, and trim creates a classic and elegant appearance. The dark gray adds definition and highlights architectural features, while the white creates a bright and open feel.

For a more modern look, you can use white and dark gray on different sections of the house. For example, you can paint the upper level of the house white and the lower level dark gray. This creates a visual separation between the two sections, which can add depth and interest to the design. Additionally, incorporating white and dark gray into a combination of other colors, such as light gray or beige, can help to soften the stark contrast and create a more cohesive look.

In both traditional and modern designs, it's important to consider the surrounding landscape and other elements in your exterior color scheme. The colors you choose should complement the natural surroundings, such as the color of the trees, flowers, and other plants.

Ultimately, the best combination of white and dark gray will depend on the style of the house and personal preference. However, a classic white and dark gray color scheme is a safe bet for creating a beautiful and timeless look for any home exterior.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Emerge Africa’s Biggest Oil-Refining Hub by Valuepaints20(m): 12:19pm On Feb 07, 2023
Nigeria should be happy about the building of Aliko Dangote's refinery for several reasons:

Increased self-sufficiency: The refinery will help Nigeria reduce its dependence on imported fuel and increase its self-sufficiency, improving the country's energy security.

Economic benefits: The construction and operation of the refinery will generate jobs and stimulate economic growth in the country.

Reduction in fuel costs: By producing its own fuel, Nigeria will likely save money on fuel imports, which will reduce the cost of fuel for its citizens.

Increased foreign investment: The building of the largest oil refinery in Africa by a Nigerian billionaire will attract attention and investment from abroad, boosting Nigeria's economy and reputation.

Overall, the building of Aliko Dangote's refinery is a positive development for Nigeria, and it is something that the country should embrace and be proud of.

As at 3years ago,it was doable. Right now with anything less than 18m forget it. Pop finishing alone if you buy materials yourself is 7k/sqm. An average 3bed with 200sqm is 1.4m for pop this is not contractor rate o.

Finishing is where you would spend money.Building this in Benin around aruogba .
Bungalow + pent
To be honest with you bosses in building setting of block to me I found it that is the most easiest thing the finishing he and the roofing chop money pass.

The cost of building a six-bedroom duplex in Nigeria can vary greatly depending on factors such as location, building materials, and construction method. However, a rough estimate for the construction of a six-bedroom duplex from the foundation to the finishing could be as follows:

Foundation: NGN 2,500,000 - NGN 4,000,000 ($6,500 - $10,500)
Brickwork/blockwork: NGN 1,500,000 - NGN 3,000,000 ($4,000 - $8,000)
Roofing: NGN 800,000 - NGN 1,500,000 ($2,100 - $4,000)
Electrical works: NGN 500,000 - NGN 1,000,000 ($1,300 - $2,600)
Plumbing works: NGN 400,000 - NGN 800,000 ($1,000 - $2,100)
Finishing (paint, tiles, doors, windows, etc.): NGN 1,500,000 - NGN 3,000,000 ($4,000 - $8,000)
Miscellaneous (labor, permits, etc.): NGN 500,000 - NGN 1,000,000 ($1,300 - $2,600)
Total estimated cost: NGN 7,000,000 - NGN 12,000,000 ($18,400 - $31,500)

It is important to note that this is just a rough estimate and actual costs may vary depending on specific factors such as location, building materials, and construction method. It is always recommended to obtain quotes from contractors and suppliers to get a more accurate estimate of the cost.

Born2conquer:
So i’ve been trying to raise a duplex for a while now and to God be the glory, we’ve done it to the roofing part and we’ve fixed the door and windows.
We’ve spent close to 30M just to get to this level and i thought the amount we shoud spending for finishing (POP, tiles, Gate, compound interlock, kitchen fixing, smart house, painting, bathroom and bathroom equipment) shouldn’t be up to 5M.

But i got the shocker of my life when i got a Bill of 35M for the finishing!

Pleasee, are things that costly? Is finishing really that expensive?

I will be glad if i can get contributions before i run mad or abandon this project or sell it as distress

Budget:
Finishing (Tiles laying, Pop work, painting): 15M
Internal doors : 2.5M
Electrical work and automation: 7.5M
Plumbing (2nd stage): 2.2M
Fence work, Gate, staircase, floor stamping, balcony aluminium: 5.8M
Kitchen cabinet and appliances: 3.1M
Wow
