skelewe: but i have been denied 2wice in the last 12 months by the embassey reason given as stated on the paper that was handed to me by the VO was that i failed to convince the interviewing officer that i am a geniun studet who intends to depart the US upon completion of my course, when you read such, it means only one thing, u didnt convince the VO that you would be coming back.it all boils down to how ur interview went, u never presented ur case bold or credible enough for the visa to be granted, mind you, its not about documents you present but the manner in which you defend your case, so you might wanna rethink ur manner of approach before your upcomin interview, Best of luck! |

phy: @ vandops and tee.baba Pls note that some schs give photocopies of transcript and it is not wrong to have such copies, besides sch like UNILORIN issues student copies transcript. I used photocopies of my transcript at the embassy and I got it.
I feel the CO was not used to the kind of format presented and the reason for the suspicion. However, I will advise you reapply and stand your ground on the authenticity of your stuff.
Also, you can go the extra mile to insist that the CO write the reason stated clearly on the rejection card because you will need to take it to your school and in case of subsequent legal action since you are genuine. That puts organization on toes becos everybody tries to avoid litigation.
Wishing you and everyone the best. or rather the CO is not used to the student present a transcript, rmber its not a normal case for students to present trasncripts rather they present degree certificate awarded and state transcript has been forward to required agencies but what you propose aint a bad idea also, |

oghenskima: @vandops thanks for the quick responds,i ask because the first was for visitation and this one is for students.plz do u have any advice for me and documents u think is relevant for me? visitation or not doesnt matter, your ability to convince the VO that you actually going to study and documents to back it up, if you study the thread well, you should get enough documentation info, also not sure of the page but try reading from pg140, there was guy(cappadona), was also going in to an avaiation school, his experience should give you some hint as to what to expect, |

Wilfem: When I called a lecturer of mine, that was exactly what he told me, that as a student, I'm not supposed to have any transcript with me, (except for the WES evaluated version) The WES itself also contrubuted to the whole problem by not sending me the officially recognized evaluated version, so that;s why I went ahead and gave them the Online Print-out version of it from WES, {it had this 'NOT OFFICIAL' caption on top.
Anyway. I've learnt one or two lessons from what happened today. Its a serious violation for a student to be in possession of a transcript, Your lucky the authorities were not called in and instead you were denied. The ideal scenario as suggested was to have said your school dont give out transcripts to students. Because WES didnt send you the evalaution dont mean you can attend an interview with the absence of a transcript. Anyways if you intend on reapplying then you have to make a strong case as to why you were denied initially. BEst of luck |

Sports › Michael Emenalo - Chelsea Assistant First Team Coach by vandops(op): 1:39am On Nov 19, 2010 |
Michael Emenalo moved up from his previous position of head opposition scout in November 2010. He has been an important part of the first team management structure since his arrival in October 2007, and his promotion to assistant first team coach was recognition of his efforts. He continues to oversee the first team scouting operation as he makes the transition to coaching. He splits the initial period between assisting Carlo Ancelotti and updating his coaching qualifications as he takes on a bigger and more influential role. He arrived at Chelsea when former manager Avram Grant called upon a trusted ex-player from his Maccabi Tel Aviv days. The pair worked together between 1998 and 2000, the tail end of a playing career for the former Nigerian international, who made his debut in 1985. A defender, he moved to the United States in 1986 where he graduated from Boston University three years later with a degree in international relations with political sciences, having also played college soccer. His football career continued in Belgium and Germany before a short spell in England at Notts County in the mid 1990s, where he won the Anglo-Italian Cup at Wembley. Michael then returned to the States where he played in the first ever MLS game for San Jose Clash. After one season, it was back to Europe and a year in the Spanish second division with Llieda, managed by future Sevilla and Spurs coach Juande Ramos. Then came the move to Israel. Michael won 14 caps for Nigeria in total and played in the 1994 World Cup in the USA, missing the first game through injury but then playing against Argentina and Greece before he was knocked out by a Roberto Baggio-inspired Italy. After hanging up his boots, Michael spent time coaching in America. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TheManagement/0,,10268~859057,00.html

4ril: I want to assume that those statements are directed at me. I want you guys to know that every applicant doesn't reside in Lagos. In fact many don't even reside in the South West. For economic, safety (by avoiding the death traps on our bad roads), timeliness and convenience reasons. Is it not logical for an applicant who resides in Abuja or will be spending the rest of the year in Abuja and its environs to give much preference to the embassy in Abuja first before Lagos?
It's just logical for me to explore all the possibilities of the closest embassy to me first. If it's evident that I can't get a slot there, then I will have no other choice than to go to Lagos. Anyways, the embassy Lagos or Abuja has never been an issue to me. No be the same visa dem they give? My major head ache is why I can't find dates, using my own computer, and I have made up my mind to go and try on another network if the problem persists.
All the same, thanks for your concern guys. well if that is the case, nothing do you then, helped check abuja embassy for free dates but its all booked bu there are open spaces for the months of november and december, so maybe you should check them out, All the best Superbrain: @ Vandops, email me your digits bro.
