Anyone against state police is ignorant of the cause of security issues in Nigeria, just as its said that politics is local same as security. There has been alot of coverup and sabotage within the federal security architecture which will be addressed by the state policing securing its borders including forest areas, with that no intruder can storm any state with arms at midnight and slaughter citizens in there sleep without a switf response from the local state police. |

Was war declaration part of the condition for reneging on the Aburi accord? Or a show of arrogance when there was still other options.quote author=gidgiddy post=128762665]I laugh when I hear people thanking Gowon for abolishing the 4 Region's Nigeria had and creating states. These people think it was for their benefit but they are yet to understand that it was for the benefit of Gowon and his fellow Northern cohorts These people never bothered to read the Decrees Gowon used in creating states to realise that Gowon not only gave the North half of the states he created, but that Gowon also abolished resource control and placed all resources in the hands of the Federal government. Gowon gave you states but took control of your resources, what's the point? As for the war, These people do not also realise that it was Gowon who broke the peace agreement him and Ojukwu signed in Aburi, Ghana, which led to war Ignorance is a terrible disease[/quote] |
That our leaders didn't see this coming or anticipate the current hunger is only a sign of ineptitude and lack of foresight. This is all a long-term plan to make sure the country fails , what else do we expect when private military and paid mercenaries in the name of bandits kept displacing farmers and the government did nothing to immediately halt them, huger is a weapon of war and brings down nations easier then anything else. |
What I guess the herders wanted to do was test the resolve of the present governments determination to protect the full implementation of the exiting antigrazzing law of the state and the respond was loud and clear and mind you they are already leaving in droves with there cattle's so as to meet up with the deadline. alsudan: |
But the herdsmen are already leaving in there droves, I think what they wantes to test was the resolve of the current government to stand on the existing anti grazing law of the state and that was just what the government did. alsudan: |
This is quite commendable and a wise and well thought out simple solution to solve a complex problem, thank you pedre we are behind you. |
He said he didn't draft down any blue print especially on his plan for the north and for me that was deep, smart and wise if had made such plans known especially on security they would have killed him before the election |
It's clear the government is been sabotaged by elements within the system. |
Have we bothered to ask how many Britons can say a sentence in our mother tongue fluently. Nigerians? |
Let him do the honorable thing and resign and leave with his dignity, the whole world is watching us, we should not be sentimental about issues bordering on our constitution, if truelly we want to change this country then let us have the moral obligation to ask Tambuwal to honorable reliquish his seat and go for a bye election. We cannot clamor for change and support what the former speaker is doing. |
if this news is true than it will further compound the woes of the APC |
