Chinese company in Ado-Odo/Ota local government has been forcefully and illegally annexing 13 villages in Ogun state, with villagers and farmers crying for help. A former village headmaster named Mr. Solomon Gbadebo Ajose have come online to solicit for help from good minded Nigerians. He also accused the area commander of Agbara Area command in Ogun State of conniving with the Chinese and also attempting to kill him.

Reactions have been pouring in on why will a Police officer saddled with the responsibility of protecting the citizens collaborate with a foreign to take over lands.

Authorities must look into this.

What is the role of state chief of protocol?

Firstly, I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his ascension as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, may his reign be fruitful and peaceful.

Prior to the just concluded election, Southern Governors across all political parties came together and demanded unequivocally that power must return to the south, some even went as far as working against their various party's candidates. That stance cemented the move for power to shift to the South.

After Tinubu won the election, some persons close to the new president made some unsettling utterances about the Southwestern "unbreakable union" with the north. Such utterances are not only worrisome but ignorant considering the sacrifices of various southern governors across different parties to ensure Tinubu's victory at the polls.

I can boldly say, considering history of southern presidents from Obasanjo to Jonathan, the stiffest challenge Tinubu will face will come from the North, you can't please them no matter what and i know Tinubu is fully aware. Many mines have been laid for him, challenges and problems have been crafted if he doesn't do their biddings, the so called "union" may go sour, considering the history of people you're dealing with.

After Buhari's nepotistic and lopsided tenure it became prevalent that power must shift to south to balance up.

In one of Tinubu's visit to River state during the campaign, he said something that struck me " if we say and they want us to believe that Nigeria belong to all of us, then every little child growing up today that will be adult tomorrow must have expectation and opportunity to lead the country at his time"

Tinubu needed the South to win the presidency, he'll be needing the south more now to sustain the presidency. The North backed buhari and shielded him, South must do same for Tinubu.

Tinubu did not bring owambe to Lagos. He will not bring it to Abuja either. Owambe has its own life. The first white man to write journal about Yorubaland, Clapperton, reported witnessing drumming, music, dancing and celebrations in Yoruba towns.
