Jobs/VacanciesRe: How I Managed Till I Got My Dream Job by VcStunner(m): 6:27pm On Dec 17, 2015
Equado:
This writeup has been on my mind for sometime but due to the nature of my job,I have been extremely busy. This writeup might be helpful to some of the unemployed youths who are currently jumping from one interview to another, or those who are wondering what next after school.
I graduated from the university about 3years ago, and as a normal Nigerian graduate, I sat at home submitting cvs from one company to another, hoping ill one day get my dream job. I submitted cvs day in, day out and gradually days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. I gained weight and before I knew it,I felt myself rapidly aging, was looking far older than I was. The agenda for the day where the same, eat, games, sleep, eat, TV/games, sleep. If I needed money for anything I asked my mum, it was truly a nightmare, my mum took full advantage, in making me do menial house-chores which I so hated. Something has to change I thought.
I decided to go out and do anything I can to make money, so I started home lessons for my aunts children, she paid me 5k for two hours lesson, three times a week. I wrote an application to teach in one "dead" private school at a place far from me, I knew I would never be turned down due to my educational qualifications. So I landed my first ever job post school days, I was to teach 6 subjects(mathematics, geography, agric, biology, chemistry and physics) both for ss1 and ss2. It was a stressful job and the pay was just 16k, the transport from the school to where I stay was 4k per-month. Teaching at that school was soooo stressful, writing lesson notes for all those subjects, marking students notes and teaching. It was very stressful but I did the job diligently, My director recommended me to a man who was looking for a lesson teacher for his son, he paid 20k for 3hours a day, four times a week lesson. I was no longer depending on my mum for financial support and hence i stopped the house-chores I so hated grin .
Fast forward, I was one day preparing the js3 class for there upcoming junior waec one evening when i noticed a woman who looked very rich observing me from the window. She was inside her car passing by and heard me teaching and it caught her attention. She sent her security man to collect my number, was expecting her call but she never called. One month later, I received a call and it was her, she wanted me doing home lesson for her children, they where 3 in number. After much negotiations she opted to pay 80k for the 3 of them, at this time all my earnings combined was about 116k. I stopped doing lessons for my aunts children, was just focused on my two lessons and the school where I was teaching.
Fast forward, the woman I worked for was a talkative and I liked talking myself, each time am teaching her children and shes around, we talk about everything. She grew to like me, and in no short time it was like we've known ourselves for a long time. Her husband is a contractor to a big oil company and he wanted starting an oil servicing firm for his wife, due to the discussions me and his wife usually have, I got to know. She told me about the project and how they already have everything in place, just looking for the right personnel's. She needed a manager who would run the place, she told me about it and subtly asked me if I was interested since I read a course similar to what she wants. I quickly agreed, despite my lack of experience she made me the manager of the soon to start establishment.
It was all a dream, as the manager I was entitled to my own personal car, which she gave me from her and her husbands fleet of cars and my salary structure is now over 400k. We started the company, she brought in more experienced people but all of them are to call me "SIR''. I became boss to car owners, " Big Men" and during the 6months have been working there now have shook hands to highly important personalities. The first interview we conducted, I saw graduates trooping in, just to get this job, made me realize how far I have come in a short while, only because I decided to leave the house and get busy instead of jumping from one interview to another.
The company has done really well in this few months, our second recruitment exercise is tomorrow and its like have been here all my life. In reality March this year, I didn't envisage Ill be here so soon. Morals of this, to those graduates out there still waiting for big organizations to start recruiting, before leaving the house, please get out there and do anything, no matter how menial it might be, while doing it be diligent , cause you might never know when its your turn to break-free of the yoke that's unemployment .

I hate to sound like a Nigerian when in matters of religion... if you believe this man is constituting a threat to national security, there are always standard procedures to follow. There's absolutely no need to humiliate a religious leader in this manner with no evidence of real threat. The north is quite volatile and acts like this only pushes those gullible minds to the edge. Buratai (borno) and PMB (katsina) should know better not to insight a new sectarian uprising. We've been fighting a war that has got no economic value at the end. And it should be known that it's only during a war that corruption and vices are at there very peak! FG pls get the priorities right in the interest of Nigeria.. thanks in advance

Today, no democratic government as dependent as Nigeria will want to engage in such because all odds are against us. Nations are looking for where to test their might and they found Syria. Only pray they don't find this country. Never you again wish or think Nigeria will defeat this thing called Biafra. CrimeRe: Sugabelly Alleged Rape: A Pure Case Of Blackmail, Intimidation And Lies by VcStunner(m): 6:50am On Nov 28, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
N/B: Read The Article Before Commenting.

I have been following the story between Miss aka Sugabelly and Mustapha Audu, the son of the late Chief Abubakar Audu. I have watched the reaction of people especially madam Oby Ezekwesili and Hon Abike Dabiri, and I must say that their position on this matter is illogical, embarrassing and unfair to Mustapha Audu and humanity. Let us look at the issue @ hand.

THE MAJOR LIES IN @Sugarbelly's ALLEGATION:
Lie Number One: Audu Abubakar Was Not The Governor As At 2007/8:

Firstly, the so called accuser @Sugabelly alleged that the late Audu Abubakar condoned the 'ficticious' rape just because he was the Governor of Kogi state. This is very far from the truth because Audu Abubakar was elected Governor in 1998, and served between 1999 and May 29, 2003 when he was defeated by Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who served from 2003 to 2011. He couldn't have used the office of Governor to condone rape when he wasn't the Governor then. In fact, he never ascended to the office after 2003 till his unfortunate demise.

Lie Number 2: False Claim of Friends Gang rape:
I had to read the email exchange between miss Sugabelly and Mustapha, on this said FB message, she was the one apologising to Mustapha Audu for FLIRTING with Audu's friend. From the tone of the message, one will see that Mustapha was the jealous type that got angry because Sugabelly was flirting with his friend. (See paragraph two of the screenshot)
https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugabelly-Rape-Message-12.jpg

So where does the gang rape story come from? How can a jealous BF allow his friends to have canal knowledge of his GF?

Lie Number 3: False Claim of Rape:
In one of the mails @Sugabelly sent to Mustapha, she was recounting their "sweet memories" and when you look at one of their memories, you will see that both of them had consensual romp and sex. In fact, she was excited recalling some hot memories...
https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugabelly-Rape-Email-3.jpg

She even talked about their crazy street sex that they had everynight at different streets...
https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugabelly-Rape-Email-4.jpg

See what she said after their first sex...

@Sugabelly's Mum Was Aware of The Relationship:
While many erroneously assumed that Mustapha Audu took advantage of the Sugabelly of a character, the truth is that her mother was very much aware of their relationship. In the mail sent to Mustapha by Sugabelly, she made reference of her mom not being happy with Mustapha. Pls see...
https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugabelly-Rape-Email-1.jpg

Pray tell, was this a relationship or rape?

Mustapha DUMPED Her Because He Didn't Trust Her:
From one of her plea email for a comeback to Mustapha, the so-called rape victim even admitted that Mustapha didn't trust her, and was trying to appeal to his emotion for his trust. Maybe he was right not trusting her with her baseless allegation
https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugabelly-Rape-Messages-10.jpg

Please, does relationship turn sour equate rape? Why victimise an innocent man that is mourning his father?

Concluding...
I put it to @Sugabelly that she was never raped but only trying to blackmail a man that she once loved after all her plea for a comeback failed.

I put it to Madam Oby Ezekwesilli and Hon Abike Dabiri that they are embarrassing to the HIGHEST order for taking a position without a holistic probe of the event. I put it to Oby that she's an hypocrite raised to power ten for knowing the truth and concealing it in order to blackmail an innocent man that is mourning the death of his father just because she's a friend to @Sugabelly's mother.

I am proud and happy to take the time and pains to put this up for the cause of defending an innocent man.

For the record, I wasn't paid nor hired to do this. My love for justice motivated me.

May God Bless All Sincere Nigerians and Lovers of Humanity
"Rape is defined as an unlawful sexual intercourse or any other penetration of vagina, anus or mouth of another person with or WITHOUT force by a sex organ, other body parts, or a foreign object without the consent of the victim" .... now am not gonna take sides or pronounce judgment on no one but I feel you didn't think like Tonye this time. You do realize you have two people involved here and you totally ignored the mails of the other. And same you told us Mustapha sounded like a jealous lover? Do you even have an idea what a "jealous lover" can do to you when you mess around with them? Even if the two sides of the tapes were played to us, won't still justify that there was no rape or that there was. The mails don't prove nothing. The girl never said she didn't know Mustapha, the fact they were in "love" doesn't mean it never went sour and still will never exonerate the girl until witnesses testify and with good incriminating evidences. Don't be a Oby Ezeks who was overrode by a former school mates emotion. Lemme continue watching from background

It is practically impossible. He should think deeply before he talks next time. PoliticsRe: Claim that PDP Responsible for 16 Years Of Ruins - Very Logical by VcStunner(m): 12:23pm On Nov 03, 2015
PassingShot:
It’s unfortunate that politics has made many to become irrational and illogical in their reasoning. This fact is more pronounced on this forum by many members from both sides of the divide (APC & PDP).

I read with astonishment, an attempt by TonyeBarcanista to stand logic on its head with a thread claiming that it’s illogical to say PDP destroyed Nigeria for sixteen years! What an absurdity and irresponsibility!

If any sane human being wants to argue against the fact that it was PDP that destroyed Nigeria for sixteen years, the person will need to at least provide the name of the party that did. It won’t be enough to tell us that some of those in PDP who contributed to ruining Nigeria in those sixteen years have either moved to APC or another party. Anyone who maintains that PDP is not responsible is illogical and is committing fallacy of Ignoratio elenchi (diverting argument to unrelated issues).

What is Logic?
In logic, necessity and sufficiency are implicational relationships between statements. The assertion that one statement is a necessary and sufficient condition of another means that the former statement is true if and only if the latter is true. That is, the two statements must be either simultaneously true or simultaneously false.
In ordinary English, 'necessary' and 'sufficient' indicate relations between conditions or states of affairs, not statements. Being a male sibling is a necessary and sufficient condition for being a brother. Fred's being a male sibling is necessary and sufficient for the truth of the statement that Fred is a brother.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necessity_and_sufficiency

Applying the above explanation, it’s no rocket science to understand that if President Obasanjo was in PDP in the eight years he ruled, PDP as a party is responsible for the outcome of his leadership in those eight years. This fact will hold true for eternity even if he changes party ten times thereafter.

From 1999 to 2015, the three presidents we have had in Nigeria (OBJ, Yar’Adua and GEJ) all belonged in PDP throughout their tenure and there is NOTHING anyone can say or do to change the fact that it was PDP that ruled in those years. To conclude otherwise (or attempt to), will only expose the arguer as an illogical, unreasonable and a mischievous entity.

Factors that determine success or failure of a party
The writer of the referenced article failed to consider the following factors that resulted in failure of PDP. Instead, he dwelled ignorantly or mischievously on occurrences (defections) that didn’t have any impact on the fact that those defectors were in PDP when the party ruled for the sixteen years under review.

Party’s Ideology
A party’s philosophy is very important in shaping how the party is perceived by the populace. At a point, PDP was known and addressed as a “killer party” because of the members’ attitude of settling their political scores by assassination of their opponents and foes within. Pa Alfred Rewane, Chief Bola Ige, Funsho Williams, Eyo Eyo, Marshall Harry, Barnabas Igwe and many others were brutally murdered during PDP reign. Not a single of those assassinations has been resolved till date.

Another prominent ideology of PDP is corruption. Whether the party sympathizers online and offline like to hear it or not, PDP took corruption in Nigeria to another level. During OBJ’s regime, it was not uncommon to hear and read how the NASS was bombarded with Ghana-Must-Go bags starched with hard currencies to bribe NASS members to do the biddings of the presidency. We were not kids not to remember how Ken Nnamani, Emwerem, and Okadigbo were all removed through bribing of senate members.

Under PDP there were high profile corruption cases that remain unresolved till date. Pension scam (30 billion naira); Oil Subsidy fraud in which many were arraigned for defrauding the nation of billions of dollars in subsidies they never earned; Nigerian Immigration Scam where many innocent souls were lost and no one was brought to justice; Stella Oduah’s N255m BMW and Kerosene Scam just to mention a few.

Implication of PDP philosophy of political assassination and corruption is that a person with different belief who finds himself in such a party can easily be swayed into taking up the party’s crude and wicked ways of doing things. An example is a case of a PDP senator in 2007 that rejected his share of bribery on three occasions but finally gave in on the fourth occasion when he had become overwhelmed by the incessant approaches by his party to toe the party’s line.

Similarly, a crooked politician can be straightened by the good ideology of his party if he soon discovers that his crude ways have no place in his party’s belief.

Leadership
There is the common saying that when the head is rotten, it affects the whole body. This saying aptly describes the type of leaders we have had in PDP. It is the type of leadership that determines how the followers behave. When PDP politicians knew that OBJ was in the habit of bribing his way in the national assembly, what and who would have stopped them from engaging in their own “lootocracy”?
Whence PDP politicians knew that “stealing was not corruption” under GEJ, and also knew that keeping “the goats and yams” together (the politicians and the treasury) was enough justification for them to loot with reckless abandon, who/what would have stopped them from stealing?

Absence of good leadership from PDP in the sixteen years it ruled is well documented such that no one can wish it away. No amount of articles or campaign can sweep those unfortunate years away from Nigeria’s history and it makes mockery of anyone attempting to re-write the history because Nigerians are largely no fools. Those with short memories will always be reminded at the right time.

Lastly, the corrupt politicians who have moved from PDP to APC cannot now be termed saints. They remain with stains and their corruption cases/allegations still hang on their neck and we hope they are eventually brought to justice. However, what is more important to Nigerians now is how they behave under new leadership and a new party with sane ideologies.

The question is, if PDP is not responsible for ruining Nigeria in the sixteen years it ruled, which party did?

Nigeria shall be great again!
you're right about your angle of argument and so does your referred article. But why people will agree with the previous post more is because of the moment in time. Like someone said, if APC top decision making group were all virtually PDP top decision making group as at the rot time, it therefore means we are dealing with just 3 letters and not people, that is if we have to exonerate them totally. And now we should rely on party philosophy? Well I bet the philosophy doesn't create itself right? And won't obey itself right? Thing is, with your stand on national issues at this level, you are not serving the interest of the nation. It's a case of misplaced priority. Rise above the blame game and see that PMB has to start Asap if he truly wanna help us. Change can't be hidden... when it comes even the blind will feel it. Trust me I don't do party. Am a Nigerian who believes in Nigeria. Don't burn defending a devil. Nice way to think though.

Hello Nlders,

I'm an ardent reader and follower of this great forum.
So,I had to create this acct for personal reasons.

To avoid lengthy episodes permit me to keep it simple by going straight to the point. Thanks

As a young lady who's in her early 20s I find it extremely difficult to love a guy not to talk about being in a relationship with one.

There is this guy who can't just help but to love me passionately. We've been together for 9yrs now but who would believe we had sex just once? YES! Just once after enough fighting and struggling.
Sometimes,I had to lock myself inside to weep cuz it's painful and it hurts! Why can't I have normal sex like any other lady out there?

I just detest having sex with a guy and it's as a result of this that I've lost most of my relationships. This stuff is making me sick cuz I want to enjoy sex with a man like any other lady.

THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THAT AM "BIsexual" but a larger part of me hungers for same sexsad

And the ladies are not even helping matters cuz they also yearn for me every now and then.,
,
I've tried hanging out with some cool guyz even to the extent of doing stuff with them YET! Nothing positive came out.

Presently,am dating a banker and believe me every other thing is perfectly in order EXCEPT the issue of sex.

Am worried cuz I know exactly what it means for someone you love so dearly to deny you of something.

I've prayed
I've also cried my eyes out
I've even gone for counselling @least to ameloriate this kind of lifestyle YET! Things are still the same.
Someone should pls tell me what else to do...

Lalasticlala
being bisexual is actually a psychological thing. Most people get attracted to the same sex because of the fear of the so-called pains associated with sex and relationship disappointments. It hurts the first two times but the subsequent times gets quite better. Though you may have to have a guy who is near perfect in the art to make it hurt less. Try to be less mean on your self and the opposite sex. But above all love yourself more than anything else.

"I don't know about you, but I think......" is a personal expression about something. So you can go back and read that line as my personal expression which replaced "in my opinion". Thanks

We copy that... personally I like Justice Chukwudifu Oputa. He was a great man. Even Fawehinmi was schooled in law and activism by this man. I don't know about charly but he had a great father. I pray his kids will say same about him.

TK0907:
I'm a graduate that completed my NYSC by july and at the end of my service, all the cash i could save was N50,000 and i have tried getting a job but all to no avail after the service and i have tried to keep this money in my account but i don't have an idea of any little business that i can start with this small amount and i'm tired of staying at home. I need an advice please.
first I have to say you did well to save up something. Then I must charge you to leave your comfort zone asap! Listen, this forum can give you a million biz ideas and even hold success crusade for you. But while you sit right there nothing will ever happen. First u need to know your kind of capital demands that ur biz be temporary and mobile. With that in mind you can narrow it down to "supplies". Most guys would go to Aba and buy ladies slippers for as cheap as 200bucks and sale for 500bucks in Uni Uyo. That's an example. If you stay in the north all u need is to go down to south, make a particular customer, he will henceforth do your waybills for u in such a way you would'nt always ply the road. If it's cotonou, you can do same thing, but first u need to leave your comfort zone. Another is online job, that's if you have passion for writing or other computer skills like graphic designs. U may not need up to quarter of ur cash to start but you need to buy some patience with the rest though. Just summon some guts, kick yourself in the ass and get going son! Don't ever wait for this body language. Success

Eko ni baje o... if for anything let's spare Lag, Tinubu, Fashola and uncle AmbODE the embarrassment of making it look like it's their fault. Lagos seats on water and so does bonny island rivers, delta, bayelsa and so on. They can do better. And you bloody citizens that block the few drainages with filts and kiosks and come here famzing your dead parties should help your selves become more civilized.

It's not fear its respect & resource control.

There is no law that precludes Tompolo from executing contracts, provided due processes.are adhered to & it's not used as looting & arms acquisition front..

Quote me wrongly & be IMMENSALY cursed.. smiley
I had to quote you because this days people ignore the right things to say and do. You had such knowledge and felt it was still right to hoard it and ignorantly criticize the previous govt. Now the process is credible? Amazing people! Ther are still many consolidation this govt will do of the previous govt so that you guys will continue sounding like hypocrites. Continue
