Let's be frank with ourselves, Nigeria conduct elections but the CROOKS picks whoever they want and our vote never count. But if I will have to VOTE I'll vote for Buhari as he was the president during IDIAGBON who meant well for NIGERIA and who loves the country with their heart not not clueless GEJ that Pardon one of the Nigerian most wanted Criminals. There's a sense of purpose in Nigeria during Buhari's/IDIAGBON, total Law and oder in the country before Obasanjo gave go ahead to the coupe that tuple their government in which MKO was the sponsor of it. Sentiment, tribalism and Worst of it all (GREED AND CORRUPTION has damaged Nigeria. If I'm in any situation that I consider to be a threat to my life, all I will do is to dial 911 and police will be there within minutes. Mind you, this is not to say that crimes don't happen in the big apple, it does. But every crime is investigated and culprits punished, if caught, and they do catch so many of them. Now, what of Naija? This is a different case entirely. It is nightmarish. Right from the airport, you have to be extremely careful, lest you be kidnapped. No matter where you live, you have to sleep with one eye open because of armed robbers, and they are merciless. What about those being paid to protect us? Some of them are the robbers and themselves or work hand in hand with the robbers. Pray not to find yourself in a life or death situation, because if you do, and call them, they will come 3 hrs after the event, and if they come, they may end up shooting you. The roads are too bad and the airlines fly mainly aircrafts that the original owners couldn't get re-certified overseas and ended up selling them to Nigerians. I can go on and on to list the terrible challenges, they are so innumerable. Don't let anybody deceive you, it's not a bed of roses out there. It's not, it's simply nightmarish. The above notwithstanding, you should not be deterred from coming home, after all, Nigeria is your fatherland, and you can make good money there, even better than overseas. Plan very well. Visit very often while planning. Be careful of the friend you keep. Always blend in with the crowd, don't try to stand out. There are so many returnees that are doing very well and your case won't be different. You are not coming back to a bed of roses, rather, you are coming back to a place that has a lot of potentials that are yet untapped.[/quote]Please take note of this name "ROSSIKK"....He's a GOVERNMENT CHICKEN BOY that paint every BAD things as good as well as paint all the diaspora as nonentity. (1) No Medical facilities in Nigeria as you can see, our leaders are always flying abroad for treatment but MANDELA never stepped out of SA....fact, (2) your children can go to park for recreation which there's none in Lagos other than their SHOPRITE or whatever it's called (3) No Electricity, (4) Nigerian roads are DEATH TRAP and to summarise it all 10% of Nigerians are to be trusted and the rest are Crooks, haven't said that, you might be selling drugs cos because majoriy of us are on the fast lane. Every nation have their own issues but Nigeria seems to be getting worse and it's very sad. Money is nothing but health is Key to everything which SA will offer. Appendicitis killed my friends Mum in 2008 when I visited Nigeria, took time to visit her at GBAGADA GENERAL HOPITAL where she was been treated and I can only stay for 5 min because the Ward looks like Makoko but I honestly don't know what it's like now. |

Consider either going back to Nigeria to manage this business yourself, or cut your losses and stop now. I hate to tell you this but I've seen it so many time before and it just dose not work. Nobody can run your business like you. Even your blood relative may not have the motivation or drive to go the extra mile required to run a business and make good profits. When you consider that Nigeria can be a very tough place to do business you have to go the extra mile. I would advice you to focus on static business like real estate which requires minimal intervention.You are dam right, my personal experience was bad, took a bank loan, send the moneys to my Jobless Brother to buy a van so as to become self employed and remit some money for me, Over 900K but after one yr of STRESS, I went back home to see what I invested in but bust into tears, I decided to sell it 280k as AGREED with the buyer but my family told me the buyer brought 250K. Can somebody help in counting or calculate my loss  I collected my change and moved on, but I'm in Uk paying back the money as I don't do yahoo or any dodgy deals, that's my experience. My advise to anyone abroad is "HELP IF YOU CAN BUT PLEASE DO NOT RUN ANY BUSINESS IN NIGERIA WHILE LIVING ABROAD", it's crime to help in that country as far as I'm concerned. 98% of our people are ready to kill you while you are breaking your back, always wants to EAT where they've never invest....BAD MENTALITY. This is an easy answer for any new born baby from any part of the world, we are sick, I mean really sick and Our Leaders requires a PSYCHIATRIC doctor to diagnose the main course our DEEP corruption especially from our OGA AT THE TOP. This has gone from Epidemic to Pandemic It's either we change our way of life or else revolution will kick in. |
