Politics / Re: Nigeria Hope For Railway Resurrection- Washington Post by Venchy: 1:49am On Mar 31, 2013
take dat: We are surely getting there! Apart from government completing the on-going rail projects, there is the need to address the lack of maintenance on existing infrastructure and rolling stock, and also improving on service delivery! We will get there!

Getting where and at what time, after Hundred years the Colonial Masters have laid the foundation?

You might not realize where a country like Nigeria should in this day and age, I know where we are suppose to be, the close to European countries or South Africa, where Nation Building is their number one Priority rather than pussyfooting around and Celebrating mediocrity.

Nigerian Leaders lack focus and Good quality of life for their people but cares about squandering lots of opportunity.

Lack of Electricity, i just can't understand what's going on in our leaders mind, share cruelty and absolute madness.

It's a shame that lots of Nigerians do not know what they deserve, as well as good quality of life, that's the reason why little thing looks like a big deal in their eyes.

I also ask, what's the point of online banking if I am going to be charged for DOING NO WRONG but login on to my account.

It's a shame that some Fat Cow in Nigerian Banking industry Deliberately set out to punish Ordinary people, what a relief from the CBN.

OLE, AUTHORITY STEALING....This one pass Arm Robbery.

ALL WIL B WELL:

I am not saying that we should pass the buck to the neo-colonialists. Neither am I saying that they are responsible for everything that is wrong in Nigeria. But anyone who is conversant with world politics, especially the neo-colonialism agenda will also think twice before dismissing that angle. Nigeria is a potential threat anytime anyday to neocoloniasts agenda. If Nigeria is able to stand on her feet, it will be the emergence of another world power. Not just world power, but one located in a continent richly endowed with resources much sought after by the neocolonialists. Of course, all of us need attitudinal change. It is not enough to criticise government day and night, while we in our small spheres also do terrible things. Nigerians should know that it is not in the best interest for the imperialists for us to make it as a country. There is therefore that possibility of external dimensions to our internal problems. And operating indirectly, without being noticed is an effective method to achieve victory by the enemy. This knowledge should make us to come together, put our house in order and resolutely resist both internally and externally motivated problems that are capable of crippling us.

THREAT!!.....To who, Nigeria is nothing but falsehood.

Let's start from Border, that's complete shambles
* Electricity for over 60 yrs still nothing.
* Production has gone down and Manufacturers are shifting to neighbouring countries.
* Crude, this is the most worrying part of development in Nigeria, how many of our crude oil is been processed in Nigeria but taken out AFRICA as far as BRAZIL and FRANCE.

* We can't produce ordinary RAZOR BLADE with all the education we posses and wrong leaders directing us.

* We are lie and deceive one another and pretends all is well while everything is wrong.

For any country to posses a threat, that country must be be producing and competing with the top countries in the world.

My guy, as far as I'm concerned nigeria is an Ant that relies on left over sugar, we rely on our oil amd squander our wealth.

If theres any important threat that I dont know of please do not hesitate to inform me as a comrades. ....lol

I love Nigeria with all my heart but it's heartbreaking the way things are.

The above is just the sort of thing one often hears from the white man. Black always blame others for their problems, you hear them often state without an ounce of irony when no one blames others for their problems more than white nations. Here in the UK, for instance, they would have you accept that the root cause of all that has gone wrong with Britain are immigrants. Since the conservatives came to power, the unemployed, immigrants and foxes are all to blame for National problems.

Blacks didn't invent espionage, which is almost a concept based on exploitation and suspicion of foreigners.

This terrorism problem in Nigeria is truly largely foreign sponsored we'd be naive to the extreme to ignore all the evidence. the author is right when he/she advises self help. The borders are and will continue to be significant as we progress into a mature polity.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, PASSING IN THE BOX. ...Ok, let's take a look at this from another angle. ...You are old enough to sort out things right from wrong, as in what your parent couldn't offer when you were a kid, will you continue to blame your parent for what went wrong for the rest of your life or you take responsibility of your life as an adult?

Can we sblame the british for all the wrong doings of our leaders e.g IBORI, ALAMESIA, BANKOLE and other big thieves that steals public and neglect their mother land.

Wake up my brother, lets accept we are total flop bcause we don't get our priority right.

Don't pick on conservative as they are trying to fix up their system, so pick on all the bloody MONEY MONGER LEADERS back home to FIX UP.

Hmmmnnn....America....I hope this is not part of their antics to cause commotion in Nigeria in order to make their prediction for the disintegration of Nigeria in 2015 come to pass. I am beginning to believe the theory of external influence in some of these terrible occurences in the country. Naija people, lets put aside ethnic and tribal chauvinism/animosity. Let us work together for a better country. Lets not play into the hands of the imperialists and neo-colonialists.

NONSENSE, your comments is absolute TOSS, When will Nigerians or black people starts taken responsibility.

Having Mumu as a leader and depth of corruption plus people's behaviour is what you suppose to stress on not pointing and accusing fingers all the time.

Just like the west indise blaming africans for what has happen 300/400 years ago.....when will you get it right this way.

Get your house in order and secure your shitty border.

Area boyz and Arm Robbers were flushed out but useless Government intervened by saying the OPC group where taken harsh and taken laws into their hands, also....this is what i don't like getting into but just of recent Fashola locked down the spare part market at Mushin simply because of the abuse of the privileged given to Igbo's to trade but all sorts where discovered in the market.

Yoruba's are the most liberal tribe that accommodate others but when some people comes on NL to slag Yoruba's for no reason is just absurd while we have some decent ones.....It's simply childish as well as Ignorant.

If we are truly One Nigerian, no one should comes on NL or other platform to slag other people off whenever they are expressing themselves.
