It all depends on your preference. Mine was set to update automatically.

I didn't do a thing on iptv simple client since I have been using Kodi and everything works just fine.

To get my Android TV to work, I had to manually configure PVR simple client and install a few additional clients, but I didn't have to do anything to my smartphone's kodi, though to be fair, my Android TV kodi stream channels that the smartphone version doesn't.

That sucks.

Okay, disable the PVR simple client. Restart Kodi and check. If you're still getting the 'No PVR add-on enabled' message, then Enable the PVR simple client, restart Kodi and see if it worked.

If everything else has failed, the last option is to uninstall Kodi and start over.

Okay, try this...

Locate 'Stalker Client' from the list install it. An 'Authentication Successful' should pop up at the top right side of the window. Make sure it's enabled.

Also locate 'PVR WMC' from the list and install it. Make sure it's enabled.


Restart the Kodi app and see if it worked.

Your Kodi PVR simple client is not installed. This is how you do it.

* Launch Kodi, go to 'settings'
* Click 'Add-ons.'
* Click option 'Install from repository.'
* Click 'Kodi Add-on repository'
* Click 'PVR Clients' from the list
* Click 'PVR IPTV Simple Client.'
* Click the Install button
* Wait till the installation is complete.

Nope. When you click the 'The Crew' install button, a window will appear with a list of additional addons. Install them concurrently with The Crew, wait until your installations are completed, and you're ready to go.
