Kaycee7:Dollar had value back then. With today's inflation rate, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy will easily gross more than $3 billion. |
AnfieldFan:Indeed she does. Can't wait to see Gorr in action. |
oyaskii:Yeah, the cast is stellar. I'm hoping it'll be a good mix of action and comedy like Ragnorok. |
Kaycee7:Matt Reeves has blood on his hands. He can't even get a Batman film to gross a billion dollars. Overrated director, overrated film. |
Kaycee7:I was playing the devil's advocate. The Russia embargo and the worsening Covid situation in China took a heavy toll. |
Baddestguyp:Nah, the teaser didn't show much. The majority of the footage here is from the first act of the film. First act is Thor "giving up" his superhero days to do some light-hearted world exploring. |
Nickshrapnel:Although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit. |
Who is the most intelligent human across the Marvel cinematic multiverse? In comics it's Reed Richards, but in the MCU I'd say Tony Stark.
|
The devil is in the details.
|
Kaycee7:Given the lack of competition, I'd say not nearly enough. |
Disappointing, considering it had zero competition for most of its run.

**Pachinko** A lovely show. Wonderful acting, interesting characters you care about and empathise with, and a fantastic story. I can't say enough nice things about it. The best show on TV right now. **Slow Horses** A fun show with good acting. Gary Oldman is a treasure. The plot is interesting and it has picked up in the last few episodes. Funny as well. **The Outer Range** Intriguing. The cowboy aesthetic is nice. Ep 2 made me WTF at the end. **MoonKnight** Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are great to watch, but the show itself has been disappointing for me. Isn't doing enough to distinguish itself from the other Marvel properties, and some big moments feel a bit hollow and rigid. **Atlanta** I just finished watching the fifth episode of the new season, and it's been a wild ride so far. I've enjoyed the one-off episodes, and whenever we follow the crew, it's always entertaining. It's been fascinating to see where all of the characters have gone. **Tokyo Vice** After a slow start, things are picking up and I'm becoming more immersed in the story. |
**Yaksha: Ruthless Operations** They tried to pull the "these guys are actually the good guys" plot twist, but they did too many unsavory things in the beginning for it to work for me. The action is good though, and the ending is satisfying. **Moonfall** This movie is terrible, the majority of the dialogue is terrible, nothing makes sense, and shit just gets more and more ridiculous, to the point where it's "so bad it's good." **The Adam Project** Ryan Reynolds quick wit is hilarious when meeting his 12 year old self. Their repartee is great as the kid acts exactly like him, dialogue and all. It's not an award-winning film, but it's a good way to pass the time.

Marvel censored Cumberbatch's hand in the italian promo picture because it was "offensive" ![]()

abduleez1:It doesn't matter. WB, while not a majority shareholder, is still a major player and thus has a lot of influence over how RT operates. |
I learned recently that Warner Bros owns Rotten Tomatoes. Make what you will of it.
|
Apple TV+ is killing it right now. • Severance • Pachinko • The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey • Slow Horses • Dickinson • Ted Lasso • The Mosquito Coast Finally, HBO has a legit rival. |
Another one bites the dust.

Colin Farrell says that the 'Penguin' spin off series could be Rated-R.
|
The fact that LeFranc describes herself as "currently showrunner" confirms that the yet-untitled HBO Max spinoff, is moving forward, and could be titled 'The Penguin'. Great news.
|
GloriousGbola:Great minds...
|
Kaycee7:I gave it one out of five stars because the film only has one star, Margot Robbie. She's hot.
|
Nickshrapnel:You have to wonder what goes through their minds while they're writing these things. Are they trying to be funny or are they dead serious? ![]() |
Calibrator:He gets paid, that's all there's to it. It was backed up by the article I cited. I'm not sure why you're still arguing. |
GRIMMJOE:It all depends on how you see things. • Nic Cage's career trajectory has been shaped by both circumstance and choice. • Bruce Willis' career trajectory has been shaped by circumstance. Nic was deeply in debt, so he took whatever he could get, and once he's out of debt decides to pursue arthouse direct-to-video projects. He seems to relish the creative freedom that starring in these low-budget films provides. He isn't averse to taking risk. |
TheKingIsHere:A review about The Wolf of Wall Street. ![]()
|
Calibrator:You didn't even bother to read the article, did you? 1. A subliminal allusion to his dementia issues(?) 2. A relevant talking point
|
Nickshrapnel:Not to brag, but I answered four correctly. |
ShaqFu:He's a long-forgotten relic from a bygone era, lol. |
AnfieldFan:Lol, you sound just like my boomer Dad. Fortunately I'm a Gen - Y, Keaton is our most iconic Batman. ![]() |
Chibudollar:The rumor definitely has substance. There have been far too many articles and speculations about his dementia for it to be nought. |
