gameboy727: Go to Twitter, search for Van (Der Woodsen), pour yourself a healthy glass of chilled beer, and enjoy the scoop. Depp and Amber had a tumultuous relationship, and neither of them was a saint.

**X (2022)** I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for some old fashioned horror fun.

Baddestguyp:It's the exact same thing, chief. It's all a matter of semantics, really. The emphasis is on plot, which serves as the narrative's focal point. * Plot focus; refers to a story's plot as its focal point. * Plot-driven; one in which the plot is the driving force behind the story. Therefore, plot focus is basically a synonym for plot driven. Baddestguyp:Yes, so...? Baddestguyp:A plot-driven story is exactly that, no matter how complex it is. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Baddestguyp: Was it not you who said something to the effect of "Peacemaker isn't plot focus," or did I imagine it? My post is succinct and to-the-point, and it explains why Peacemaker is indeed plot-driven. I couldn't make sense of the remainder of your ramblings, but it confirmed what I already know; you're in over your head and have no idea what you're saying. 7 Likes |

Baddestguyp: The plot is a set of hurdles that stand in the protagonist's way of achieving their goal. When obstacles control the story's trajectory, it's called a plot-driven narrative. For instance, when the protagonist is coerced into eliminating a string of targets (obstacles), and they comply (objective), it's plot driven. When a character's habitual actions control the story's trajectory, it's called a character-driven narrative. If your protagonist is lethargic and is given the assignment of killing a string of targets but refuses, and his pet eagle is slaughtered as a result, he will have to face the consequences of his inaction by addressing his part in his pet's death. That is a character-driven story. Which of the two scenarios do you recognise? Therein lies the answer. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Nickshrapnel: I'm skeptical of sequels, especially ones that have been hampered by delays and lawsuits. When you take into account that Miller is pushing 80, it's easy to believe that 'Furiosa' will either never be made, or George Miller will be dead and Tom Hardy will be in his 60s by the time the dang sequel begins filming. |

Calibrator: To say that the three films in the Home trilogy have different ideas is tantamount to saying that the Lord of the Rings films are unrelated. Simply say you don't like The Batman and move on, Chief. It's unwise to meander on a slippery slope, especially in the dark. 3 Likes |

DontBullshitMe:The Wire is on another level, but Top Boy comes the closest to filling the void left by The Wire. It captures the London drug scene in a very realistic and grounded format. If you go in expecting to be disappointed, I'm afraid it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy; however, if you go in with an open mind, there's a good chance you'll be satisfied. The show is addictive; once you're hooked, you won't be able to stop watching it until it's finished. 1 Like |

WriterNig: I'm a firm believer in diversity, but when Netflix began promoting pedophilia-themed films like 'Cuties', I had to draw the line. That film was made at the expense of children. There is no need to display such filth; anyone can learn any lesson without exploiting children by dressing them up in sexually suggestive clothing and displaying them sexually. It's gotten to the point where they're not even being subtle about pushing the woke agenda, it's basically in all their originals. One of the best decisions I've ever made was cancelling my Netflix subscription. 2 Likes |

GloriousGbola: Seems to me you expected too much from a dragon film, and ultimately didn't realize your expectations, because to me, in the best possible way, this film was bananas. At best, the acting was passable, but the universe they created, as well as the bizarre spectacle of it all, made it worthwhile. 2 Likes |

abduleez1: I dropped them early last year, then picked them up again in December for a couple months before cancelling them again. There isn't enough in their library to pique my and my missus' interest, and they have cancelled a few too many shows we like. Their movie selection is garbage, they prioritize quantity over quality and everything they make is slop. HBOmax is infinitely better. abduleez1: HBOMax is, in my opinion, by far the best streaming service. I'm just blown away by everything they have, and now that Discovery has purchased them, they're about to get a tonne of new programming. Apple TV+, on the other hand, offers the best value for money. Their OC are currently unrivalled, pound for pound. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ishilove: This is the type of film I live for. It gets the blood pumping, and for two hours, I like to imagine myself as the protagonist, doling out justice in a violent and chaotic fashion, in an endless cycle of violence, between loving my friends and hating my enemies. I am the Northman and vengeance is mine! 3 Likes 1 Share |
