Western Europe's "ambition" for colonial and imperial power is motivated by their poverty....its not because they are more ambitious....a hungry thief will be more motivated to colonize than a well to do man (Africa). There was simply no need for Africa to embark on any colonial projects because it is self sufficient and was already advanced in mining technology et al prior to what colonialists will tell you.

It's not just colonialism though. The ambitions of the west has led to the development of their various countries and ease of life in general. From the days of Nikola Tesla to now, when modern day scientists are actively searching for the cure to cancer. When humans explore, this triggers curiosity. This then raises questions – what, why, how etc. These questions then lead to discoveries. This is simply what Africans lack, curiosity!

If Africans were that advanced, then there wouldn't be the talk of colonialism today. Europeans had better weapons, better equipment and better supplies than Africans which made colonialism all very easy.

I have no idea what your point is but I'll address what I understood from your post. Not everything is about wealth though, like the issue of livability which is why "rich" Africans still travel outside their countries very often. And no, "our ways" is simply how Africans generally did things before any form of contact with Europeans in the 1400/1500s.

They aren't competing with the Big Three though. It's a tier 2 MVNO license so they'll use the existing infrastructure of any of the other telecom services and anyone in the telecom industry would tell you that an MVNO is next to nothing because its still the same largely unreliable infrastructure they'll utilize. If you're oversimplifying, then yes. Governments across the globe tend to prioritize the 1% over the rest of the 99%. This is a well established fact. Of course, the poor in African countries aggravate their own situation with the number of children they have but their situation in general are borne out the a deep-rooted lack of interest in their welfare by the society.

Also, the poor can't afford to compare themselves to the elites. The system makes sure that a poor person's child has to work thrice as hard as a rich person's child for only a fraction of what the rich person's child has. Is that what you call fate?

Poor people globally don't choose to be poor. They are made poor because they are not prioritized by governments across the world, not just Nigeria. Take the US for example. Why would Nigeria continue to maintain a broken, elitist neocolonialist system which serves to cater for the elite and industrial complex like Dangote, Otedola and Elumelu rather than build a system that works for the other 99.99%? And when the poor complain, they are simply told that they don't work hard But the system simply doesn't allow the poor to become rich... the system allows the rich to become richer.

Which is why Elon Musk and others who all came from relatively wealthy, comfortable homes can continue to be rich but an average homeless Joe on the street of Manhattan can't be a rich tech tychoon. Though I agree with you that poor people especially in Nigeria and Africa don't help themselves with the burden they carry like the number of wives and children they have but they aren't the inherent cause of their problem - the system simply gives Otedola's daughters and Elumelu's sons a platform than it does to the guy with 5 children who live in an uncompleted building next door.
