FivePeas: I think you're being too hasty and would appeal to you not to make a hasty decision that will cause you damage because you sound like someone who's about to react ( from negative reactions ) rather than someone who's about to embark on a well planned action. There's a difference. Trust me I know.
I qualify to give you sound counsel as a business operator and would like to discredit any thoughts of you quitting you job because of your savings.
Let's take it step by step
1. Financial security is important. Can you reduce your monthly expenses and boost your savings so you can save let's say 300k monthly, which in six months gives you an approximate of another 2 Million Naira
2. Start the process of setting up a business while you're still employed. This way you can weigh the options if it's for you or not. And can easily convert your salaries towards the establishment of the business
3. Do not quit your job until you've had a well to Houghton out business plan and have put it into effect. Remember money is just half the equation, the other half the business
4. Be more tolerant rather than being irritated because things aren't working for you from a place of convenience. Start thinking positive thoughts about the positives of your job. I'm sure it can't be all negative. Whatever it's costing you, give yourself the opportunity to reflect and tell yourself giving it six more months for proper planning won't do you harm
5. Get a second accommodation closer to work. So you can shuttle between both ends. Friday home till Sunday. Have you considered this? Best advice |

safetyInspector: Please can you explain to us why Easter can't be compared to Salah?. Easter is the bedrock of Christianity. The death of Jesus Christ brought hope to Christians and humanity at large. In terms of congregating for prayers and worship, majority Christian denominations congregates for days to celebrate Easter. From Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. Please ignore the guy. |

meetme01: You don F-up. Raising your hands on any woman talkless your wife has degraded you. That's the bitter truth.
Back to the main issue. Your wife needs your unreserved apology. You need remorseful which is through your attitude. Let her know you are deeply sorry.
To her, is she not working? Why have you refused to set her up in a biz? One problem I have realized in today's marriage is, finance. It's really creating a lot of issues in most marriage. As a man, if you earn from three sources, declare only two. Let her know how the money is spent to the last kobo. That was the initial problem, you need to fix that part asap Very wrong advice |

eddyakinrinde: Happy December everyone, the year has been a good one for me investmentwise I must say and also a tough one in some ways. From 6.3m as at beginning of the year, I have bn able to grow my tbill investment to total 11m and additional 1m maturing in January to total 12m. It was indeed a tough rough path leading to this as I have had to deny myself various luxuries this year and several things I closed my eyes to not buy. But it worth it all. The increment was made possible by putting additional fund each month and reinvestment. But I made sure everything mature by Dec. So my fear now is going by the current downtrend in tbills rates I totally confused on what my next year investment plan would be. I have a food commodity business am into, the total money in the business is just around 3m. Definitely I will have to put more fund in the business from all this but cannot put all so I won't mismanage the money. Am just confused on how best to invest the rest in the new year. Try the stock exchange market |

If you saw November 11 as maturity then also check well to verify its not term deposit you invested in. You are absolutely right. It is actually November 14, 2019 and I have been thinking it was November 11 all these while. Thanks bro. |

How would they pay me back my money now that I no longer hold the certificate for transactions? Would I face any complications in getting back my money from my bank? You will not face any challenge at all. I have multiple TBs some of which I did not collect certificates. When it matured you will be automatically credited. |
