Crime › Pandemonium As Youths Storm Sultan Of Sokoto’s Palace Over ‘blasphemous Comment’ by VEXT(op):
Pandemonium broke out in Sokoto on Thursday when youths in a large number stormed the palace of the Sultan, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar asking him to arrest one Isma’ila Sani Isah for allegedly posting a blasphemous comment against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) via his social media handle.

It was gathered that the suspect, upon failing to secure a local government job, made the comment to register his grievance against the religion.

The protesting youths stormed the area on Thursday evening with placards, among which read “We are calling on the Sultanate Council to take the necessary measure against the perpetrator” and “Isma’il must die”.

It was learnt that the security operatives led by the Divisional Police Officer of Marina police station, Chief Superintendent M Y Maru, attached to the palace, denied the protesters entrance.

The DPO who addressed the angry youths, appealed to them to be calm, saying the command had arrested the suspect.

According to him, the wanted man was under detention at the Criminal Investigation Department of the state command.

“We have arrested the suspect. He is currently under detention at the CID office and I can lead your leaders to the headquarters to confirm,” he said.

At the police headquarters, the deputy Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Abdullahi, while receiving leaders of the youths, assured them that the suspect would be arraigned before a Shari’ah court on Monday.

Health › Fake NURTW Boss Infects His Wife, Stepdaughter, Other Women With HIV by VEXT(op): 6:22pm On Jul 07, 2021
Police Arrest Fake Road Transport Workers' Union Boss Who Infected Over 12 Women With HIV

Bolaniran Orimolade, a man who infected his wife, stepdaughter, and several other women with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) has been arrested by the police.

This was disclosed by Ebenezer Omejalile, the Chief Operating Officer Of Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Peoples Network.

According to Omejalile, the suspect, who is also known as Bola Bebo, was a self-acclaimed chairman of the Iyana Iba motor part and had boasted that he was above the law.

Omejalile noted that Orimolade had not only infected his wife with HIV but also defiled his stepdaughter and equally infected her with HIV.

Ebenezer noted that there were 12 other women that Orimolade had intentionally infected with HIV.

He said, “He does it with so much impunity without any form of remorse, he was arrested several times but buys his way out and goes after his victims and makes life a living hell for them.

"His latest atrocity was on his wife Mrs Bolaniran, who after infecting her with HIV, he domestically abused. He also sexually molested his stepdaughter who is now living with HIV.

“Efforts to get Bolaniran arrested by Igando Police Station proved abortive initially.

“It's also on record that Mrs Bolaniran had two identical twins, both males who were born with HIV courtesy of their father's status.

“Mrs. Bolaniran couldn't bear the trauma of humiliation her husband subjected her and her children to, so she moved out to seek refuge in a church.

“Ever since she moved out of the apartment, Bolaniran has been going to the church to cause trouble.”

According to Omejalile, Bolaniran has been arrested and transferred to the Gender Anti-human trafficking unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department (SCIID), Panti, following his arrest.

“Our findings on Bolarinan showed that he was once jailed for 10 years, which makes him an ex-convict,” he added.

Meanwhile, the National Union of Road Transport Workers has disowned Bolaniran, stating that he was never a registered member of the union.

The Lagos State Secretary of the union, Oluwaseyi Bankole stated this while reacting to a story making rounds that the Lagos Police command had arrested one Bolaniran Orimolade, an HIV-positive patient who has been going round the city, raping and infecting people with the dreaded disease.

Disowning the suspect, Bankole stated that the suspect who was said to be operating at Iyana Iba Motor Park is not a member of the Union as according to him, the Lagos NURTW does not operate at the said park.

He said, "The man is not a member of our union. As a matter of fact, our union does not operate at Iyana Iba Motor Park. The park in question is operated by another union. NURTW is made up of law-abiding citizens, hence our members will not engage in criminal activities.

“We have a database of our registered members, from units to state and the national headquarters of union, and these members are known to be above board in all their dealings."

GRACEGLORY:
For the sake of information, I respond to this

While this may be the beginnings for cryptocurrencies, this dip isn’t the end, all will dip, and red. This is the beginning of the Cryptocurrency Revolution. All bad cryptos built on false and hype foundation must come to an end for the emergence of strong cryptos built on world-changing technologies.
New technologies go through five stages, and during these phases a lot of investors and traders will lose their money until the phase of Plateau of Productivity which is where the big money is made. Everybody online and into crypto won’t get rich, they have to be shaken, and only the tutored or smart will stand in the last phase of productivity to harvest what’s lost by the untutored or unlearn that lost their fortunes.

Many of us are buying junks, but the wheat shall be separated from the chaff.

Hold onto tokens and coins that holds potentials. Some coins have come as seeds bearing the potential of a forest, yet many can’t see them, their coins and even tokens that will compete with the place of Bitcoin.

Crypto hasn’t begun yet, it’s just at the stage of its “Peak of Inflated Expectations.” More money will be lost at the disillusionment stage where those techs we think are big techs will fail, and many will be disappointed, then, the doors shall be opened unto us for real knowledge of the techs needed and that would do well on those blockchains.

So, until then, expect the separation of the wheat from the chaff while every every dips.

But for BTC, Eth, & Cardano….. hmmm
Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish !!

Crime › Man Bags 9 Yrs In Prison For Trying To Flee After Impregnating His Girlfriend by VEXT(op):
A man who attempted to flee a chief magistrate court in Adamawa after he was convicted for abandoning his pregnant girlfriend, has been sentenced to nine years in prison without an option of fine.

Mallam Zakaria, 31, who was brought before the court by his girlfriend, Maryam Usman, for abandoning her after he got her pregnant, was found guilty and sentenced to two years with an option of fine, but his immediate response was to break into a run out of the court in an attempt to escape.

According to The Nation, when pursued and brought back, the court recalled his case file and slapped him additional seven years in correctional confinement with no option of fine.

Zakaria was arrested and charged to court on June 18, 2021, for deserting Maryam, after she lodged a complaint to the Police that he abandoned her after putting her in a family way. She told the court that Zakaria also conspired with the neighbour, Sunday Assoga, who owns a patent medicine store and deceived her into accepting the administration of some hard drugs on her, but that the attempted abortion failed.

The convict admitted committing the crime, after which the court made adjournments until finally ruling on the case, the court, presided over by Magistrate Adamu Abdulrazak, convicted and sentenced him to two years imprisonment with N150, 000 option of fine.

On the pronouncement of the judgement, Zakaria reacted by rushing out of the court hall and out of the court premises, but court security details who realized that he was attempting an escape, ran after him and succeeded in returning him to the court.

He was taken before the judge who recalled his case file and invoked section 138 of the state penal code law, handing him seven years jail term without the option of fine, taking his total term to nine years.

Crime › Man Allegedly K*lls His 4-month Pregnant Wife For Ritual, 3 Months After Wedding by VEXT(op): 8:42am On Jul 05, 2021
A Nigerian man, Nnanna Emeka, is on the run after he allegedly killed his 4-month-old pregnant in Ugbele Mgbidi area of Imo State.

It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, July 3, 2021, just three months after the couple tied the knot.

According to a source, “He wanted to take his wife out on a date, and then, probably take her to somewhere and k*ll her. He would have come back to cook up stories to cover his track. But unfortunately for him, the wife refused to go out with him.

Just few days before, she had told a friend that for the past week her husband’s character has changed, that she doesn’t understand him anymore. So, we believe that’s why she refused to go out with him.

However, after trying fruitlessly to get his wife to go out with him, he allegedly decided to k*ll her inside their apartment and take her corpse to the place where the ritual will be performed.

He was said to have used a rod to hit her on her forehead. But while trying to transport the body, people became suspicious and confronted him. But he took to his heels and as I speak, he is no where to be found.

They got married three months ago and the deceased was four months pregnant with his child.”

Crime › Pakistani Policeman Accused Of Killing Man Acquitted Of Blasphemy by VEXT(op): 12:16pm On Jul 04, 2021
A Pakistani police constable has been arrested over the murder of a man who was acquitted of blasphemy charges last year, a police spokesman said.

Ahmed Nawaz told Reuters that Muhammad Waqas was hacked to death on Friday in the central Pakistani district of Sadiqabad.

He said the suspect, a 21-year-old man who joined the force just months ago, told investigators he killed Waqas because "he had committed blasphemy".

Waqas was charged in a blasphemy case in 2016, accused of sharing content online that was insulting to the Prophet Mohammad. The Lahore High Court overturned the conviction in 2020, and Waqas was released from prison.

"He remained underground for sometime even after his release and returned home a few weeks ago," the police spokesman told Reuters.

Insulting the Prophet carries a mandatory death penalty in Pakistan, a predominantly Muslim country. While courts have pronounced death sentences for some of those convicted, Pakistan has never carried out an execution over blasphemy charges.

Pakistan's blasphemy laws have long been criticised by rights groups, because they are seen as giving cover to vigilantes to attack those accused of the crime, whatever the courts decide.

In July 2020, Tahir Naseem, a US citizen of Pakistani origin, was gunned down and killed as he stood before a judge in the northwestern city of Peshawar to answer blasphemy charges.

The teen suspect, Faisal Khan, was lionized in street rallies by hardline religious groups, and police escorting him took selfies to share on social media to show support for his actions.

In April, supporters of hardline religious group Tehrik-i-Labaik Pakistan clashed with security forces for weeks in cities across the country, taking police officers hostage and demanding Islamabad expel the French ambassador over the publication of cartoons in France depicting the Prophet Mohammad.
