I have always known that he's a mole in PDP, trying to creat easy way for his brother, Andy of APC. PDP should dismiss him and his family from the party before they ruin the party. That's what they do every state election, creating confusion here and there.

Ugochukwu no get talk nah, we know that one. I wonder why PDP has refused to suspend that family from PDP, owing to the antecedence of the family in the destruction of governmental infrastructures of the state. He just wants to create a soft landing for his brother, Andy of APC. Every election, they will create fracas within the party. PDP should immediately dismiss them after the whole litigation.

OK let me cite one case to tell you that hoping on precedence is just nonsense. In this recent case Uche Nwosu of AA was disqualified by the supreme court because his nomination was challenged by the candidate of a rival party APP. The link is below. After reading, come and explain it to me cheesy

https://dailytrust.com/imo-govship-polls-supreme-court-quashes-uche-nwosus-candidature
Lol..UCHE obviously violated electoral act, so APP simply went to court to challenge his double candidature of political parties. It's just like when someone presented a forged documents to INEC and it published it, then it would become a public case that anybody will have the right to institute a case. But the cases fergie cited above were party primaries, YPP couldn't have known whether it was flawed or not because it didn't take part in it. Except, the party and the candidates of those elections, the only other person that has right to take up any case with that regards is INEC. So they are entirely two different scenarios.

Ezewuzie01:
His lawyer must have briefed him that APGA did everything right. INEC monitored the primary that produced Soludo unlike the sham in APC and PDP. You know Ifeanyi Ubah is desperate to be governor, if APGA was at fault he would have included the party in the suit. Btw you didn't show up in the thread where a case was brought against Andy Uba seeking his disqualification by his fellow aspirants. What happened cheesy
I can see you are indeed partisan, so I wouldn't engage you. How could you say that INEC didn't monitor PDP primary?? You must be an APGA's apologist, so no need.

Ezewuzie01:
Don't run faster than your shadow. I am not a fan of Ifeanyi Ubah or YPP but he has a very strong case. No supreme court pronouncement on a particular case is etched on stone. Every case is treated on its own merit and the argument of lawyers. Many examples abound where the supreme court has flipped over on similar issues. YPP can easily argue that the INEC report which shows non compliance with the electoral act in the primaries APC and PDP conducted directly affects its candidate because those parties ought not to participate in the election where every vote is precious and should not be wasted on parties that would otherwise not have participated ab initio. The case is very strong. PDP and APC are in very big trouble.
Did INEC complain about non compliance of any of these party primaries??
Politics › Re: Anambra 2021: YPP Asks Court To Void PDP, APC Primaries by vicdom(m): 9:57am On Jul 10, 2021
You can not question the legality, credibility or authenticity of any election you were not a partaker, thus, you lack locus standi..... SC

In view of the above-mentioned, the suit shall be swiftly thrown out by any competent court of jurisdiction.

Breaking News!

Dr George Moughalu ask court to nulifiy APC primaries.

AIF Media

Dr George Moughalu, the APC governorship Aspirant has approached the federal high court, Abuja to challenge the fake declaration by gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state led National Congress Committee which announced Senator Andy Uba as winner of the June 26 APC primary election for Anambra state November 6 governorship election.

In the suit sighted by AIF Media, Dr Moughalu is in court against APC, INEC and Andy Uba.

Apart from Moughalu, about 11 APC aspirants have vowed to stop Andy Uba and Dapo Abiodun's BenJohnson way of politics except the APC national leadership convenes a meeting of the Aspirants and party stakeholders where an aspirant can be picked through a consensus.

They are of same opinion that what Dapo Abiodun congress committee did in Anambra on June 26 was an open robbery that can never stand.

Exactly!! That Ad-hoc delegate list that was earlier voided by FCT high court would have been the best to produce most popular candidate. But it ruined everything for PDP. As it is now, I doubt if PDP would even come 3rd in the main election.

Politics › Anambra 2021: Valentine Ozigbo Wins PDP Governorship primary Election by vicdom(op): 10:58pm On Jun 26, 2021
A banker, Valentine Ozigbo, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State.

The 50-year-old Mr Ozigbo polled 62 out of 218 votes to beat 13 other aspirants who were on the ballot.

Some aspirants had withdrawn from the primary out of protest because of the new list of delegates that was released by the National Working Committee of the party.

Besides, a faction of the party had held a parallel primary elsewhere in Awka which produced Ugochukwu Uba as its own candidate.

The candidates defeated by Mr Ozigbo included Uche Ukwunife, a serving senator, who scored 44 votes and came third in the primary which was conducted late into Saturday night.

Obiora Okonkwo, a billionaire businessman, came second with 58 votes.

Mr Ozigbo was the president and chief executive officer of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) from 2019 to 2020.

He has worked with several banks in Nigeria, including Diamond Bank and the United Bank for Africa.

Mr Ozigbo will be contesting against a former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the November 6 governorship election in the state.

APGA is the ruling party in the state.

The All Progressives Congress was yet to declare its candidate for the election at the time of this report.
