Please yall, wanted your opinion or something, i was denied a Canada visa last 2 years because i applied late, and the passport wasnt stamped. Must i indicate that on this application because i planned to ignore it ooh considering how this people deny for flimsy excuses.
Also, do they really inquire from other embassies about status of an applicants visa history when there is no cause for it? Does the UKBA really do such enquires?
Thanks once again
Ignoring that aspect would mean a measure of deceptive tactic-by concealing a vital information: the omission would get you banned for 10 years in the (very likely) event that they find out.

peace009: PLS as the chairman/managing director of a limited company , does my personal account have to show my monthly salary and also have a personal tax clearance apart from company tax clearance? PLS PLS PLS ... I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT.
Since you're the owner of the company which complies with tax regulation, you are not obliged to pay tax from any money that you pay yourself, you are a tax compliant businessman and you get your income from your taxed business, therefore, your business tax should cover you.

nickson03: No my wife does not have another child with another man is just me and my wife and my three children. Like i said is just me and my first son which is currently at thesame address with me in uk and my wife is going to aply for our twins baby which is just 6months. Would the accomodation be count as overcrownding if the mother of my twins aply for the visa. And do i need to suport the application with bank statement know that the twins are autmatic british citizen because i am british myself.
I thought your aparrtment would be over crowded by one person because, I thought you meant that your wife has an additional child to the children. Now, I think the appartment is suitable

nickson03: Pls i need your advice. I am a british and my son is a british we both live at thesame address. My just had a twins babies and i been to nigeria to aply for the babies british passport which is currently still process by Her majest passport office in uk. Now my wife is coming to visit me and her son. And she need to come with the twins and i subjected that she aply for the twins uk visa since it is taking time for the passport to by out. My question is me and my currently live in two bedroom apartment and the tenancy agreement
State the maximum number of people is three and when my wife join we will be three however and i want to use the tenancy agreement to aply for the twins who are just 6 months visa since the passport is still being process . Since the twins are just 6months old would be account as overcrown to refuse they visa or would they not be count as overcrownd since they are just 6months old they will be sharing thesame room with me and the mother since they just a babies? Pls i need ur advice and i have also decide that i will also sumit the evidence of me aplying for their british passport with the application. Thank waiting for your reply.
If I understand your English, your wife (apart from the twins) has another son with a different man, right?
And you want her and the child with the twins to apply for visit visas, they would be staying in the rented apartment that is designed for 3 occupants.
First of all, how old is the other child? well, the child is expected to have his own room, and the 6 months old twins are supposed to stay in the same room with their mother: and as there is another person occupying one other room in the apartment, the adequacy of your appqrtment is now under question, so, that might be a problem amongst other problems

manchit: hi vicjustice
Can you please advice a bit on money lodging
I have to deposit 250000/- in to my bank account for scenhgen VISA as advised by my travel agent
I have made the following entries ( all amount are in indian rupees )
14 july : cash deposit of 30,000/-
15 july : cash deposit of 12,000/-
17july : cash deposit of 21,000/-
17 july : online transfer from my mothers account of 100,000/-
18 july : cash deposit of 15,000/-
Will I have to justify this for the interview? I and my wife are going on a group tour for 8 days to schengen countries.
My yearly income on the business income tax return slip shows as 2,50,000 for the last financial year.
How do I justify the cash deposit entries? Atleast the online transfer I can show it as a gift from my mother.
A travel agent that advices you to lodge money into your account does not deserve to be a travel agent.
I will advice you to flee from him before he forges any document that would get you banned.

SamyUIStudent: grin Not really like that, Am seeing different price online and I don't know which of it is true...that's why am asking so as to be sure.
How would you then believe that mine is true, why not make the application first and then see how much that you have to pay?
Buy the way, if the price of the application fee is something that bothers you, then how serious are you about the UK visa?

esosa4real: Hmm. I see now, thanks for the information. Anyways still wanna go ahead and try my luck because a colleague of mine in this same program was given a uk visa although she went with family. Quite optimistic, and am I allowed to show pictures from attending the past conference, document of research work performed during d conference? Can I also add an additional letter explaining my interest in medical conferences like this as regards career building?
By the way, I plan to submit next week, can I book an appointment today?
I've the ff documents:
-Payslips of past 3months
-letter of current appointment
-letter of introduction
-Proof of Medical License
-flight itinerary
-Medical conference invitation letter
-Receipt of Conference payment
-hotel reservation booking printout
-International passport
-Bank statement of past 6 months
What else could be of support?
Your colleague got a visa with a job of less than one year old?
Well, the Visa Officer probably tampered rules with logical reasons: my sincere wishes to you to get same consideration.

esosa4real: Thanks man!, really appreciate the enlightment. I do get the business thingy now. I am in a current employment which is for 1year. It's called Medical internship. I started October 28 last year and Wud end same this year. The conference is for Sept 12-13.
And was granted leave for Sept 10 - 17.

Pls oh, as regards the N600k, I stated in my form which am still filling that N200,000 for flight, N50k for 7days hotel in norwich n N50k for expenses, Plan to spend N350 total.
How Ona reason am?
I'm afraid it doesn't look very good now, with your current employment not up to one year old, you could be refused on the basis that your employment does not meet the mandatory requirement which is 12 calender months.
I understand that your proposed travel date is in September , but your application will be decided based on the current status of your employment as he future can not be guaranteed

daybell007: please I need your assistance about these. My company is sponsoring me for study visa and all document to attest the sponsorship was also given to me but was given a post dated cheque to confirm that the money in the company's is meant for my use. Please can a post dated cheque be used as a means of proof of support?please I need your response as soon as possible
Being given the company's statement of account does you mean that you are entitled to spend from the fund, or that the money is available for your use, therefore, the presentation of the company's account can not satisfy the visa officer.
Let your company issue you a cheque with the amount of money that is needed to cover your trip, or let them pay the money into your account so you can present the evidence of fund with an official cover letter making remark of the origin and the purpose of payment/issuance
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Vicjustice:
esosa4real: Good day people, i opened a topic, no one replied, so i post this here:
I would appreciate the input of justwise, darkchild, vicjustice, londoncool and all travel experts on this.
Recently, i was given the impression by some colleagues who work in the business sector that Medical Doctors are no longer given that privilege and special preference as regards uk visa applications.
They claim they "Business men" even stand better chances getting visas due to their High monthly cash inflows and outflows, which of course i know is an important factor, and having researched the uk guidelines thread, i happen to see that a couple of doctors were actually denied on "low financial history" grounds.
I am an intern working in a Federal teaching hospital and was planning to attend a medical conference in Norwich come September. I might not have a robust income but my payslips though not a constant figure, show an average of at least N150,000.
So do i stand a chance of getting a UK visa with that financial history? My current balance is N600,000
Well as regards UK-ties, i have a cousin there but not going to live with her, since am attending a conference
About my Nigerian ties, well i am still working as an intern with an appointment letter showing a 1year contract that would end by October 28 2014.
My travel history is sparse, been to India in 2010 for a medical conference (WHO group). Also been to ghana few months ago while on leave.
So this time am travelling for a 2 day medical conference which i have paid for and have made both Hotel and flight reservations.
Also, already filling my Visa form and have stipulated that i plan to stay in UK for just 7 days because that's the allocated leave of absence i have.
SO my brothers and sisters what are my chances really? Would they consider me as a practicing Medical practitioner? or concentrate more on my financial history? what are the real requirements apart from what i already know?
Your friend's comparison does not make real sense because, business is not a profession, it is only an occupation. A Doctor or a Teacher could be a BUSINESSMAN, so, the comparisons should be, a businessman who is a doctor vs a businessman who is (let's say) a Sociologist. Of course, the doctor gets priorities.
It is almost unheard of that a practicing medical doctor would travel to the UK and abscond to become an illegal resident, so, I would say YES, medical doctors are given priorities. Besides, doctors are highly useful and often in demands.
Your salary of 150k is ok to satisfy a visa officer, and though your total balance (of N600k) is not that great, but considering that you have a medical job to return to, you should be fine if you satisfy the visa officer about your purpose of wantng to travel to the UK.
You do not need a UK tie, therefore, your cousin in the UK is irrelevant to your application.
Did you say that you are not yet in your current employment for one year?

daybell007: Thanks for your response to my previous question.I intend submitting my application fo study visa at the Italian embassy but I am confused/need clarification on it
I av BN nominated by the company I worked that they are going to sponsor me and cater for all my maintenace in Italy nd I av BN given a letter to confirm that nd as well company's account statement.the issue is nw d balance on d statement as at 14th of July is around 10m bt I av BN given appointment for submisson on 25th July.my fear now is that since it s a company account the balance might have reduced durn my submission and confirmation might be done on the account.pls kindly advise me as I am out of time nw.Pls
Please, next time, write in standard English and spellings.

Being given the company's statement of account does you mean that you are entitled to spend from the fund, or that the money is available for your use, therefore, the presentation of the company's account can not satisfy the visa officer.
Let your company issue you a cheque with the amount of money that is needed to cover your trip, or let them pay the money into your account so you can present the evidence of fund with an official cover letter making remark of the origin and the purpose of payment/issuance.

rukkiat: Pls I need your advice I have been to UK twice my second time of going to UK on my 2yrs visa I spend 8weeks instead of 3weeks I said in my form now d visa has expired and I want to renew I'd there any probability that am going to get d visa or can I write a letter and tell them d reason why I spend 8weeks instead of 3weeks
Pls I need ur advice urgently cos am abt to fill d form thanks undecided
First of all, you may be lucky if the Visa Officer does not look into your period of stay in the UK and compare it to your declared number of days to stay, but if the period of stay is looked into, though you didn't stay beyond your visa duration, but yet, you would need to give a serious explanation for staying beyond your declared time and to give satisfying explanation of your activities etc: your visa was probably granted in consideration of your declaration, therefore, it may be judged that your declaration was delibrate to mislead the visa officer.
If you have a valid explanation that would qualify your action as a result of change of circumstance, then, you may be fine, otherwise, you would be refused in subsequent visa applications because your intention can't be trusted.

Godwilling: HELLO my people hope everyone is doing well .. please can anyone answer this question below. I saw it in the USA student section but no answer was given as am in a similar situation am wondering whether anyone can help answer this please. am new here so pardon any mistake I might have made in posting this.
Hi, fellow nairalanders, i need your assistance and input concerning my situation. I started my undergrad in the UK but missed my renewal date and tried to appeal it for over a year to no avail. I finally decided to come back to nigeria voluntarily and then transfer to the US this year. I applied for my student visa and then got rejected due to a silly error i made in filling my ds-160 - where it asked if you have any family in the us, i answered 'yes'. I truly don't have any family in the US. I guess that was the reason for my rejection because she didnt ask for any of my supporting documents. So here are my questions:
1. Would my previous overstayer status in the uk affect my entry into the us?
2. How do i prove that i have no ties in the us without getting done for misrepresentation?
3. How do i prove my ties at home with my family? (My father, who lives in nigeria is my sponsor)
4. Will my passport get stamped or my name get flagged if i get rejected a second time?
1) If they do background check on you UK experience, then, certainly it will affect your chance (and I'm positive they will
2) That is a question that only you have the answer to.
3) That is another question that you can answer best
4) Not necessary, they have your finger prints as well as your eye scan

d2ddayo: good day, please i just want to ask this question, i was denied irish visa in 2010 after 5 different irish visas granted. reasons given were flimsy excuses. nways afterwards i had applied twice to schengen states visa which i was granted. i intend to renew my schengen again this august and afterwards apply for a uk visit visa. i want to know, what is the possibility of being granted and used without defaulting any immigration rule. all necessary documentations would be provided with a balance of bout 500hk. i am still single and never applied for a uk visa before except back when i was a young lad when my parents took me down. the major reason for my irish refusal was that the VO said i didnt disclose that my dad resides in ireland.... but the truth is that my dad was away when i was 12yrs and it was my stepfather who had been the one sponsoring all my trips from way back 2006 while i was in school. now i really want to apply for this countries by HIS grace, and i know the uk embassy will also ask if ever denied a visa within the last five years or so which i intend to state my reason. please i just want your candid advice on this. thank you.
d2ddayo: all what am saying is that i intend to apply for a uk visa and my last application to ireland was denied. the EO said i didnt write that my dad resides in ireland. well my biological father is in ireland but my stepdad stays in nigeria who had been the one sponsoring all my up keep, travel trips and all for 18 yrs before three years ago i and my dad reunited. i had 5 irish visas granted before the last one and afterwards ve collected 2 schengen visas and i intend to renew it by august before facing uk. so now whats ur advice?
It is hard to figure out the advice that you desire because, you don't seem to be making any query except that you narrated your experiences.
Well, I suspect that you stated in your Irish application form that you have no relative in Ireland, therefore, if my suspicion is right, then you have (probably) been banned from the UK as well as from Ireland as both countries share same immigration database.
