torhuke: Can u hear ds ediot comparing a jorny frm Ilorin 2 Lagos to Madrid to London.. U really xpect us 2 achive d london feat in 2 years.. Talk sense abeg..! If the UK and america is paused 4 5years and Nigeria is FastForwaded 4 5years, do u really think we will get 2 wher dey are wt mumus like u... Ppptchew..!Hear the nonsense you are saying! If we have the resources, why not buy the latest technology? Instead we buy the old-fashioned model at the cost of the latest model! Corruption is our greatest problem. GEJ is guilty of that. |
ifihearam: daftYou've proven to be even more daft! The guy stated his opinion and all you could mutter is 'daft'. slowpoke! |
Justcash: All of you that are blaming GEJ for this one are very daft. He is refurbishing the rail system. Is it not the duty of the masses to guard and ensure that these infrastructures are operated efficiently? The people that are to blame for this rot are;Wow! You have spoken.......unfortunately everything you said is arrant nonsense! That your government spent billions of dollars to revive a locomotive train is now a fault of the masses? If FG had opted for fast-moving cable or tunnel trains, do you think Nigerians are so daft as to travel on-top of such fast trains? How many Nigerians have you seen travelling on the top of luxurious or even small buses? If they travel on top of this train, its because they know that there is barely no risk on travelling on the top of a snail speed train. Precise what is wrong with your FG stationing some sort of task-force to ensure that tickets are not sold beyond the available number of seats? |
tashanja: Mehn, you spoke like genius, pls take one very chilled e-beer on my behalf. So senseless a comment! If you were a security guard in a bank, would you let a monkey into the banking hall, bearing in mind that many customers wouldn't like the idea? You speak as if our banking halls are as porous as to let animals into them! That silly question you asked can be likened to asking why we queue up to save our money in the banks when it is much easier to clear a compartment in our wardrobe and stash the cash there? If you are not dumb, I guess your answer will be 'THE HIGH RISK'. Of course, it is less risky to save your money in the bank than at home, so also it is less risky to steal from an individual than an organized corporate entity like a bank! I guess that answers your question. ![]() |
tashanja: That is exactly what I find most improbable. Just how physically possible is it for a small animal like a monkey ( ok, lets even say a bigger animal e.g. gorilla or human) to swallow a whole 200k within a twinkle of the eye unnoticed, let alone vomit it out later. It just not possible, yeah I am sure some ppl would be quick to say its JAZZ; but hey, this is the 21st century not middle ages.So because this is 21st century, metaphysical powers no longer exist or the devil has gone to sleep? Wake up sir, you must be have been brainwashed by what your science teachers taught you. Come and curse a witch in my village (depend on technology and ignore God), and see how your generation will be wiped out in 24 hours! I pity you, better face the reality of life. God, miracles, holiness exists.......so also does Satan, demons, witches, occcult powers and evil. Be wise! |
wesley80: ^ The moment we throw common sense and purpose into the head of Nigeria youths, Nigeria will make progress. I can't believe young folks are rooting for the same set of people that are responsible for the nations current state. Buhari, Shekarau, Rochas? Seriously is this the best you guys can dream?now am sure you were born in the late 90s. You do not even have an idea of the people you claim destroyed 'your' country. Mtschwwwww! |
danny301: I beg to disagree with u ....See reasons below:GOD BLESS U |
I think solution to Nigeria problem is very simple. You citizens should stop reasoning backward if you are seriously wish to progress, the comment above shows how backward minded majority of Nigerian youths are.
I seriously do not see any reasonable point you have made in your comment vis-a-vis mine. I would rate ur IQ 20/100. Am I not generous? ![]() |
Ikengawo: ACN also over estimates it's own popularity. Though they're the second most powerful in Nigeria, the tribal nature of the party turns non yorubas off. It's just as tribal as AGPA and as no yoruba will vote for an AGPA governor, no igbo, middle belter, deltan, or even northerner will vote for a ACN governor.I guess Edo state is also a yoruba state and a south western state too? Rubbish! |
wesley80: No Sir, I never said I was better than you. You only confirm you're among the legions of ediots along with countless al majiri's that chant sai Buhari even though they were in nappies when Buhari held sway.I am a southern Christian who voted Buhari coz I see beyond ethnic and religious differences. Even though I have relatives who benefit from the unprecedented corruption of GEJs govt, I would vote for Buhari over and over again! I want a country free of corruption, nepotism, segregation and waste. GEJ has proved his incompetence and I'm proud I didn't vote for him. Wesley, I think sounds Niger-Deltan, so its not hard to trace where your foolish, myopic and sentiment based views emanate from! My honest advise for you is to enjoy the corruption of this govt while it lasts, coz 2015 a revolution is coming and it will take place via our votes. |

wesley80: Sorry it had to be you but I just had to get it off my chest. The number of times folks like you either through innocuous projections or outright stupidity have brought up Buhari's has simply been absurd. All these tacit endorsements and subtle campaigns MUST now stop.Stop arguing like a tout. Be more objective please! |
^ Did you read the part that says the monkey vomitted back the money?
I guess he was high on 'ogogoro' when he was reading the story or he is just too daft to understand the story. Leave him, let him be claiming ignorant, its the 'jazz' from his village that is causing him to have a myopic understanding! |
NoContract: One bottle of Burukutu for both of you. Now, waka pass.Sick dude |
kheart: Ibos can never stop their criminality, how can a monkey swallow a whole 200k? Aside bein impossible self, how comes no one saw when he was swallowing d money? The whole story is just trash and only fooooolz will be believe this.Mr Man, metaphysical powers exists in Nigeria, I have witnessed an event where someone's manhood disappeared after a handshake from a stranger who stopped him to ask him for direction. I saw this myself and couldn't but marvel at the reality of black power. My dad was once a victim, when he withdrew some amount of money from the bank, and on his way home, a man stopped him to beg for money, he gave the man some money and when my dad got home, he discovered that all the money he cashed at the bank had been transformed to newspapers (cut to the same size of N200 notes). I couldn't believe my eyes.......my dad wept like a child that day! This happened without even touching the stranger! Voodoo exists in Africa and this is a fact! I have seen things with my eyes, that science cannot explain. |

ifyalways: Ghana all the way. I guess next time you should think twice before making such senseless comment ![]() |
Logicboy03: Is that a sensible response?*In Wizkid's voice* Ask your Daddy! ![]() |
I have obsevered over the years that the problem of the northerners is inferiority complex. They want to be everywhere and want their voices to be heard in every issue. They want equal allocation with oil producing states while they cannot even generate any revenue for the country. Its so unfortunate that people still think so backward? The last time I checked, I cannot remember any nigerian northerner who is really doing so good in football even internationally. Odemwingie I Know, Martins I know, Moses I know, Mikel I know, Aiyegbeni I know, Kanu I know. Abeg who be Keita again? |
Billyonaire: *Privacy*what do u mean by privacy? *who told you people pay little or no income tax? Its either you don't work, or you don't reside in the country. I pay my tax and I know a thousand others who do. In Nigeria, tax is deducted before your take home pay. So learn! *plural marriage or adultery without jail term is not only enjoyed in Nigeria alone. *whatever you mean by cheap business registeration? It cost me almost N60,000 ($380) to register my LTD company. That over three times the country's minimum wage! This is the average cost of registering a LTD company with 1,000,000 share capital. *I'm sure if you compare the Oil producing countries of the world, Nigeria sells petroleum products at the highest rates to its citizen even with the so-called subsidy. *I guess you must have issues with your sight and hearing, else you would understand the risk of attending church services in Borno, Yobe, and Gombe States. *On clean air, come to my area, and see industrial pollution. How can the air be clean with all the number of cars and generators emitting C02? We have refused to embrace green energy! |
Omexonomy: @op think well b4 you hit the submit button next time. Having said that.STFU and stop blowing your trumpet. I also made quite some money from my media consulting firm and I am presently thinking of investing in Agriculture, but that doesn't mean the OP is wrong. This country does not provide an enabling environment for youths to start up as enterpreneurs. Banks will rather give loans to the elites, and the so-called govt financial institutions like NERFUND would usually ask for tips before they process your loan application. I had been a victim of this situation severally. The truth is I started my company through funds raised by family members. How many families can raise the needed start-up capital for their young ones to start with? Its good that U and I are making money via hardwork and ingenuity, but don't pretend like it was child's play when starting up. How did you raise your capital, only God knows. |
confusion247: We are enjoying One Nigeria as prescribed by Gowon. To crown it all, we have fresh air now. The transformation agenda will soon follow. Will soon follow? After almost two years already gone? You must be one of those enjoying the unprecedented corruption rate of this dispensation. |
abubello: Why blame Islam for what the man chose to do? If the man is a bad parent how is that the fault of islam. Should we blame christianity for the action of the french woman who delivered her five year old daughter to a paedophile to be moslested in the story below:Of course, only foolish extremists like you foolishly believe that all westerners are christians! SMH @ your level of ignorance. |
Fanpay: Not d man's fault his 5 y/o daughter was no longer a virgin.he had to flog/torture her to know who was responsible eventhough he killed her.I pity for your children. |
azimibraun: I wll neva support the taking of anybody's life by anoda.. Hell No! Bt if I may ask; why do ppl always think parents are right and kids wrong? I knw 2 many Men who are alive 2day because God is touchin the hearts of their kids. Its nt gud for a Man 2 b wicked 2 his own family. I hate wt dis boys did bt who gv birth 2 dem and who raised them 2 bcome murderers and dropouts? Was it 2 mch luv dt caused it or a father always cursing his kids and telling dem he regrets having them? He trainned his innocent kids 2 bcom mmaniac. Dts all I cn say. U rip wt u sow.A professor of Economics trained his 'innocent' kids to become maniacs? You must be thinking from somewhere else, not ur brain. |
Logicboy03: Poster child for what? Is she the first woman or girl to speak up against islamic extemists? Abeg.U keep insisting "too much". If you have a problem with the little girl getting the Nobel prize, why don't you proceed on a street protest, hunger strike or better still, self-immolation in order to air your grievances! |
otss: Based on research, d father(prof) must hav bin wicked to them... Wat a sad event. RIPAre you kidding me? Is that a good reason to sniff life out of the poor man? Are you trying to justify what those boys did? Obviously you must be criminal minded or just high on some cheap local gin. |
pelezico: And where is Jesus in all of your praise - did TB Joshua blood justifier you before a righteous God?This comment is so inarticulate and makes no single sense! Am I the only one observing this. Someone should please explain what point this nairalander is trying to drive at. *confused face* |
nuorlah: It is plain silly to attribute your success to anyone not God.It is also silly not to have realized that by saying TB Joshua I Love You, Ogenyi was not attributing his success to Joshua but was only showing appreciation to the person who God used as his helper. |
Ruthnkem: All tb jousha mocker shall all perish dis year amenGrow Up babe! There is no need for this comment! Shows how mundane a christian you are. |
From the comments here on Nairaland, its not so difficult to assess some people's level of folly. That Ogenyi said 'T.B Joshua, I love you', does it translate to worshipping him? Or must TB joshua predict a match before a footballer can show his appreciation to someone who helped him attain success in life? I am a christian who doesn't belong to any denomination. I just believe in God and try to do what the Bible say. The greatest commandment in the Bible is LOVE - Love God and Love your neighbour. TB Joshua has demonstrated Godly love through his attitude of giving and helping the needy even to the extent of supplying relief materials to war-torn and disaster areas across the world (what most countries cannot even do). From the very common man to the the foreigners who do not even know him, he has impacted lives and put smiles on people's faces. I believe that is what Christ would have done! For heaven's sake, I haven't heard of anyone who TB Joshua killed or tortured. Neither have I heard of any1 who sought him for help but was turned down. How else must we realize that he is doing what our government is meant to be doing for us? I am not a member of TB Joshua's church, but I see common sense in helping the poor than investing in material things that does not benefit the poor (what the Bible calls vanity), all those private jets, posh cars do not last forever, but every life that you touch and every smile that you put on someone's face is noted in heaven and surely there is a reward. I am not in the business of criticizing clergymen, else I would be comparing TB Joshua to other prominent pastors in Nigeria and I would be asking you to state clearly who is doing what Jesus would have done to better the welfare of his neighbours! I read recently about TB Joshua saying any youth who ventures into agriculture this year will prosper in it. What a prophecy to encourage our youths, yet nobody will note that because we are deeply enmeshed in the pool of unconstructive criticism that we hardly see any thing good come out of others. I can bet that aside always asking you to pay ur tithes, sacrificial offerings, covenant seeds, firstfruits, prophet offerings and probably prophesying good things for you in exchange, the pastor of your local assembly does not even know you by name, talk more of even sowing or giving any physical gift that can improve ur live physically. Even Jesus fed the 5,000 after preaching to them (physical impact). Alas, common sense has never and will never be common! |
Gorimakpa: ^^ bros abeg delete all that info for your post, make you no put ur friend for trouble.
