Wisdommyth: Hello everyone,
Has anyone here been able to successfully assess work experience with Engineers Australia ? How were you able to provide "Mandatory secondary documents - Employee"
The only acceptable documents are: government issued documents that support the verification of your employment.
either:
1. Acknowledgement or receipt of income tax return lodgement. 2. Superannuation fund statements, social security insurance statement, retirement contribution report, or employee provident fund contribution 3. Work permit and residence permit, including other official government documentation, such as a work contract showing your employment details
I do not pay tax so how can I provide secondary evidence. Anyone with experience on this ? Bank statements |

Please, can pension statement suffix for tax clearance? Having difficult time getting tax clearance from my work place and tax office.
Which subclass (189, 190 and 491) would you advise me to apply considering age (40yrs)? Yes, I think Pension can replace tax. Apply for all of them. |

madapcmod: Thank you.
I have pension from all the years of experience except NYSC. However, no tax for the telecommunications experience.
From 2014 - date experience in power system, I have both tax and pension evidence.
Can pension statement from ARM suffice? I also have my pay slip with pension and tax deductibles as evidence.
For NYSC, I have letter of engagement and " to whom it may concern letter" at the end of the service year. I stopped using the wema bank account they opened for me for their allowance after NYSC. ( I don't know if I reactivate it, I can still print the statement of account to show evidence of earnings)
For telecom experience, I have the offer letter and pension deduction in ARM statement of account
For the power system experience, I have the appointment letter, pension and tax deduction in pay slip as well as Pension in my ARM retirement savings account as evidence Forget NYSC, your experience from 2014 can give you maximum point for experience. The challenge you will face is your age. |

Corridon: We have to obey the laws if we want to progress as a nation. What you can't do in London is what you are doing in Nigeria. We all want a sane country but we don't want to be sane. True. But the law should be for everybody. The politicians dnt obey the law and the cars can't be seized. You can never see their cars being auctioned but we see them break the law. I dnt have pity for whoever that breaks the law but hypocrisy irritates me. |

Vulturereloaded: Osibanjo would have been a threat to Peter obi, as Nigerians youths would have been a bit confused on who to choose.
But as soon as Tinubu emerged, Obi's chances increased .
Then when he chose his muslim muslim, the coast became clear for obi to emerge president.
Tinubus age and health + APC failure + Muslim Muslim ticket = Obi Presidency. Even Amechi would have been a better choice |

Ammishaddai: Bros 4k pounds doesn't sound like much over there(especially if you're into programming). And when you look at future expenses , you might not really be able to say afloat (especially with a family and all). So I'll advice if you ask for a remote opportunity with the company, since it's obvious you're intrested in increasing your financial power 4K net salary is more than average in the uk. There's no reason not to choose UK. |

aribisala0: This claim is false What is the speed of the trains? Those are carriages that were intended for use in high speed rail to be powered by external propulsion by electricity We do not have the technology to power trains by electricity so those trains would have to be powered by probably a diesel engine train This is good news but you do not enhance the news by embellishment or outright lies Why, by the way is the speed so relevant or this talk about fastest trains necessary
The fastest trains are useful for Intercity travel not intracity/ inner city metro services where the train stops every minute or so True talk. Purchase is easy because they make money for themselves but making it operational is the challenge. |

tunlex01: Yes. yes
You English test must be valid at the time you submit your visa application. There was a recent change during the pandemic for 887 that requested that English test must be valid as at the time the CO picks one's application but it was removed. So validity should be at the time your paid visa application fee. Thanks for the Information. I have an academic ielts that will expire October though It's competent, so I won't claim any point. |
Travel › Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by victor54: 1:22pm On Dec 25, 2021 |
tunlex01: You should start preparing to take the test again as the possibility of using the same result to apply for visa is slim. The application window opens for few weeks, thereafter you get a pre-invite and 14 to apply for nomination then NSW reviews your application before giving you ITA. This process may take up to 2 months or less and your IELTS result may no longer be valid as at that time. So make hay while the sun shines. If my IELTS is valid when applying for ITA and expires before getting ITA, do I need a new IELTS?. Must my IELTS be valid during visa application if I already have ITA? |

NB1912: From EA's point of view, the assessment does not have an expiry date. However, DOHA have set a validity of 3years. You will have to contact EA to revalidate your assessment. I believe there is no need for a reassessment. My fear is that application window for NSW regions opens and closes in January. The next one will be in March when my IELTS will be expiring. |

Offshore candidates Offshore candidates skilled in occupations within some ANZSCO unit groups will now be considered in invitation rounds. These unit groups are identified with a tick (✔) under the 'Offshore' column below.
