See the kind of men we have these days. Truly men are scarce, all we have are nothing to write home about, it's either they are druggie, alcohol addicts, bet addicts, brothel addicts and others. If you are a man and do not indulge in any of these may God bless you abundantly , you are the real alpha male and kings every good woman desires. God bless you

Romance / Re: Be Sincere. Why Are You Not In A Relationship? by victoriousman11(m): 6:37pm On May 07, 2022
Badfinga:
It has been over two years since I attempted the relationship stuff. From my heart of heart, I think I no longer believe in love. When I see the opposite gender, I only think of having a nice time with them. So I concluded within me to remain single instead of hurting someone's feelings.
For clarification purpose, I no sleep with any girl ooo within this period . Hoping one day things will turn out for the better and I will love unconditionally again.
I don’t even know

Islam for Muslims / Re: Can Muslim Perform A Special Prayer/tahaajud On December 31st? by victoriousman11(m): 8:56pm On Dec 31, 2021
Myer:

Isnt a true Muslim meant to pray every day?
So why should the last day of the year (aka cross-over) be excluded?

The grouse here seems to be that Cross-over prayers is a Christian phenomenon. But actually it's a human phenomenon.
Most people regardless of religion or creed simply pray into the new year. Whether there is a cross-over service or not.

Yes, Muslims are meant to pray every day even the tahajuud (vigil) every every night if it’s convenient for you and it’s a sunnah (habit of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and most of the prophets before him (may peace be upon them all) and it’s also a command from Almighty Allah the most merciful that we should pray in some times of our nights.
The saying here was that TODAY'S NIGHT SHOULDN'T BE SPECIALISE FROM EVERY OTHER NIGHT as a Muslim if you used to engaged in vigil other night back.
And the choice is yours to believe or do whatever you wishes be you're not aswerable to anyone based on that except your Lord.

My Lord knows the best and everything.

Don't be blinded by the hatred for other religions.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Why Muslims do not celebrate non-muslim festivals? by victoriousman11(m): 6:40pm On Dec 31, 2021
Peace be upon us all.
There are different opinions on this issue, don’t let us keep arguing back and forth about it.
They just said the rules above about the festival celebrations based on what he/she believed. The facts that it is being share or discussed here doesn’t make it a mandate for you to believe the same, it your choice and you’re not answerable to anyone about what you do or believe in except your maker the Almighty.

Your Lord knows best.

SinisterX:
Coronavirus: A Facebook User’s Experience Of Getting Tested In Abuja

ATTENTION: PRESIDENCY & FED. MINISTRY OF HEALTH

To tell you the truth, NCDC can't do anything for you because they are not ready.
All this PR they are doing they are assuming people will not try that's why.
On Wednesday (25/03/2020) I and a colleague of mine decided we want to be sure of our status before going into #selfisolation.

So we went through the following steps

1. We called the toll free line and after all the normal recorded stories, when we chose to speak to an agent they end the call.

2. We went to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, they told us they don't do testing there, that the hospital is only an isolation center. They refer us back to NCDC office in town, told us that's where testing lab is.

3. We drove to NCDC office at Jabi. There are two NCDC offices there in close proximity. The first office told us they don't do testing but they directed us to the second office saying that's where testing is handled.

4. The second office too absolved themselves of that responsibility and directed us to NCDC National Reference Laboratory, Gaduwa.

5. We visited the NCDC NRL. On getting there, the security at the gate informed us that a lot of people were there too earlier in the day and were turned away. That they don't do testing for individuals unless your state took your sample and submit to them.

6.They refer us to a circular posted at the gate and told us to contact the FCT Epidemiology team lead on COVID-19.

7. When I called him I introduced myself by name and then asked him if he's the FCT team lead on this issue. He answered yes. I then asked him how do I go about getting tested. He asked who are you? Who gave you my number? I told him I'm an Abuja resident and his number is on a circular at the NCDC office. He told us he doesn't know. He said we should go to NCDC. I told him but they referred us to you. He was silent. I then asked him to advise us. He told us to go to "National Health Disease Control" which doesn't exist.

I will send a copy of the circular to this forum.

Obviously they are doing selective testing which is dangerous.

It means a lot of people might have been infected already but for lack of testing they are moving about infecting others.

While the information from the official channels are saying people are not coming forth, the truth is that people are going but are been turned away.

And I know because I was turned away first hand.

It also tells you that either the NCDC are lying to us or they are not coordinated at all. How will you explain three branches of the office each denying responsibility and pointing us to the next instead of just explaining to us the laid down procedures by the NCDC

Bukky244:
Which is worse? Quran-virus or Corona-virus? For me, Quran-virus is worse. it can make a medical Doctor to advise patients to use camel urine to treat ailments. It can make a Scientist believe the earth is flat like an Arabian rug. It can make a man travel half way around the world to kiss and worship a black meteorite that fell from the sky. It can make a 52 year old man to marry a 7 year old child. It can make a man to receive revelation only when he wears a 7 year old girls dress. 90% of violence all over the world is linked to people trying to enforce the ideas in Quran-virus.
