I think corona virus likes attention and hype too. It keeps going to infect politicians and Governor aides, chief of staffs and other domestic staffs but leave the main oga's.
I'm not praying for anybody to be infected but just wondering how corona dey beat about the bush to get media attention.

I thought I was the only one that noticed , suddenly officials are getting infected, upon how heavily protected they are.

Let me tell you something. The reason Covid-19 has not killed too many people in Africa is because Africa has a very young population. Because life expectancy is already low at about 52 years.

It has recently been shown that most infected in Nigeria are from 31-40 years old.

If Nigeria had life expectancy of say from 74 in men and from 82 in women like many Western countries, deaths would have been high too.

As people get older, on the average, they accumulate co-morbidity (several illnesses) including high blood pressure/cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, lung/airway disease and so on. These we now know increase risk of severe Covid-19 illness and death. I am not writing here as a novice.

Oh, so there’s no sickness that kills people with underlying health issue ?

The problem starts when you look at the news, the target is to instill fear in the masses but nigerians are getting wiser. the same covid 19 that's killing over 1000 people in a day in civilized countries came into Nigeria and stated killing less than 30 people, lol. I know a lot of people last month that have had same sypmtoms of covid 19 loss of smell and taste, running nose, cold, high fever etc they all thought it was typhoid and malaria, they self medicated and they are all well now. Almost everybody in my town had suddenly lost sense of taste and smell with fever.infact everyone is sick here and I am suspecting it to be corona
