BAZ001: I think corona virus likes attention and hype too. It keeps going to infect politicians and Governor aides, chief of staffs and other domestic staffs but leave the main oga's. I'm not praying for anybody to be infected but just wondering how corona dey beat about the bush to get media attention. I thought I was the only one that noticed , suddenly officials are getting infected, upon how heavily protected they are. |

AreaFada2: Really? Tell me about it.
Let me tell you something. The reason Covid-19 has not killed too many people in Africa is because Africa has a very young population. Because life expectancy is already low at about 52 years.
It has recently been shown that most infected in Nigeria are from 31-40 years old.
If Nigeria had life expectancy of say from 74 in men and from 82 in women like many Western countries, deaths would have been high too.
As people get older, on the average, they accumulate co-morbidity (several illnesses) including high blood pressure/cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, lung/airway disease and so on. These we now know increase risk of severe Covid-19 illness and death. I am not writing here as a novice. Oh, so there’s no sickness that kills people with underlying health issue ? |

Confirmedzombie: Now tell me why lockdown is not necessary. The virus is now spreading increasingly day by day.
I urge the FG to have a rethink and lockdown the country for Three months.
Reverse the lifting of interstate travel and close down all airports.
Shutdown all markets and places of wirship.
Everybody must stock their homes and not wait for pallatives
With this measures we shall defeat this virus. lol, you’re so funny man |

cases will skyrocket very soon. we just have to pray for a vaccine. we have a lot of people who are not in good health here in Nigeria They should stop giving us numbers , we’re fed up already, or will they also give us numbers on malaria and every other diseases |

Where did you hear that EVERYBODY in lagos has Covid-19? And since you dont know, the age range of those it has been infecting and killing of recent, is trending downwards towards younger people, ranging from 25-39year old mostly, in the last three weeks!

Purplebubble: The problem starts when you look at the news, the target is to instill fear in the masses but nigerians are getting wiser. the same covid 19 that's killing over 1000 people in a day in civilized countries came into Nigeria and stated killing less than 30 people, lol. Is Nigeria more civilized or we have better health care system? Let me tell you covid 19 is just Like malaria, same sypmtoms. I know a lot of people last month that have had same sypmtoms of covid 19 loss of smell and taste, running nose, cold, high fever etc they all thought it was typhoid and malaria, they self medicated and they are all well now. So covid19 in Nigeria is not as deadly as the media makes it look. I hope the world does not leave nigeria behind b4 They finally open everywhere. People are hungry, insecurities everywhere and people are tired. They should just stop giving covid19 too much attention and focus more on other things like job creation before the country hits worse recession That’s is the Truth |

I don’t know why Nigeria is recording less death cases of corona virus , upon say majority of people didn’t even observe the safety measures . obataokenwa: Be sincere if you've not had loss of taste and sense of smell.
Don't leave in denial bro. Bro if that is the Corona virus or Covid -19, then I’ve had it, Started from a day fever then to weakness >body pains > catarrh to loss of Taste and sense of taste And in all of these things I never had any drugs cos I hate to take drugs, but here I am healthy and hearty. My senses of taste and smell are all back to normal. This happened a week ago. So the virus is not something so dreaded that the country can not be opened and returned back to normal for God’s Sake. Y’all fear too much. |

After spreading it successfully, the people that contacted it will still unknowingly recover from it. More like a normal disease.
